Great 2 week stay at Los Grandados II

The apartment is a great size for a large family. We travelled with 2 young children and their grandparents. Lots of room for everyone. The decor in the living space is very modern, with great a TV. Bedrooms are also a great size. High-quality furniture throughout. The apartment even had a printer (with A4 paper) for us to use, very handy with the 2021 travel restrictions, and all the printouts you need to get back to the UK. The complex is VERY secure, its a gated community with a pass needed to gain access with on-site security, who patrol 24/7. Very reassuring when travelling with young children. The underground car park is great for keeping car hire cool, and the lift takes you straight to the apartment front door. However the allocated parking space for 1711 is quite tight, so be careful if you have a 7+ seater vehicle. The pool is absolutely fantastic and everyone in our group loved it. As it's a lagoon-style, everyone can find a depth they're comfortable with, from babies to adults. Never a problem getting sunbeds or shade, even in August. Whilst we loved the apartment, there are a few things the owner should consider address. The door in the master bedroom is catching on the marble floor. It's noisy when opened (waking the children at times) and it's damaging the marble flooring. The en-suite bathroom in the master bedroom needs attention. The bath is not sealed against the walls, so water will be getting behind. I would say all tiles need attention. Most are not even attached to the wall, simply held in by the surrounding ones. It all needs regrouting. Also above the sliding doors, a big chunk of plaster is missing. The third bedroom, the one next to the kitchen. The wardrobe door fell off during the night and landed on the bottom half of my son's bed. Thankfully he's only small, so no damage done. I resecured the door to the unit and should be all OK now. Top catches loose. Balcony. Seems the struts between the wood and base is missing leaving a huge gap. Not safe for young children. Kitchen. Great kitchen, just found the cooking utensils and cutlery to be tired and mis-matched. Found a hoover in the cupboard, great as the apartment is 120sqm. Sadly no hoover bags inside. Had to use the broom and dustpan, again mismatched as the broom was bigger than the dustpan. The little table and chairs need replacing, laminate is coming away. And Wifi. Spoke to one resident who says it's just €19.90 a month for 300mbps
