Penstowe Chalet Hillside


This property is a self catering 2 bedroom chalet at Penstowe Holiday Park in the village of Kilkhampton (EX23) - 5 miles from Bude in North Cornwall. Chalet is in grounds of a Manor House in several acres of woods NO SMOKING IN CHALET

Sleeps 4

King size Bed in main room and Second bedroom with bunk beds. Both have wardrobes and drawers. You will need to bring your own Bed Linen. We will only provide Duvet's and Pillows for both bedrooms with mattress protectors. We can also provide travel cot.

Newly fitted large Shower with small washbasin toilet and heated towel rail

New fully fitted kitchen area including microwave and freestanding cooker, fridge freezer and washing machine.


Living room has Tv with Wi-Fi adapter

The Chalet also consists of Electric heaters, Ironing Board, Iron. All Electric is paid by £1 & £2 coins which is situated in the Kitchen.
Also….. The Stowe (in the main Manor House Now offering full drinks menu, 2 full size Snooker table, Pool tables, Darts.
Plenty of attractions nearby, The Big Sheep, The Milk Way, 45 minutes to Port Isaac, Padstow, Boscastle.

Bude sea pool at Summerleaze Beach Bude just 5 miles from Kilkhampton.

Great base for North Cornwall

We have just spent 5 nights in Penstowe and really enjoyed it. The chalet is great with a modern kitchen and bathroom and was spotless. It was a really great base for exploring Cornwall.

Great place to stay

Stayed with our teenager and small dog, easy check in and property was super clean. Everything included that we could need. It’s quite hilly and the paths were a little slippy in the wet (so take care). Car park is very close to the property. A great base for exploring North Cornwall/Devon, excellent value and we would definitely stay again.

Accommodation was lovely modern and clean, quiet and peaceful. ideally located for where we needed to be visiting family in Stibb, although for others everything is really a car journey to shop etc and pub only serving food from food van on evenings which didn’t bother us but maybe people with younger children not much to do for them. As a family with older children this suited us and we would return.

Great location for activities

We had a wonderful stay at this location. The place is well equipped with a nice kitchen and 2 bed rooms. Just be mindful there are no facilities in the park and be prepared that you need coins for the electricity. The owner is very helpful and communicative before we arrived.

Kilkhampton Chalet

Small beach style chalet that we used for a week. Clean and in a good state of upkeep it is in a good location to explore both North Cornwall and North Devon. Very good communication with the host and a smooth check in and out process. The chalet comes with passes for the swimming pool / leisure centre on site (should it not be beach weather) plus there is a bar you can utilise with regular entertainment. Overall a great stay and would recommend.

easy to find penstow park, chatel took a few mins to find but very clean and tidy good location 6 min drive to bude 12mins to widemouth beach, chalet better that it looked in the photos, wifi works ok not the fastest

Superschoon!

Dit huisje ligt op een park waar veel huisjes kriskras geplaatst zijn. Ons huisje lag verscholen tussen bossages en we konden het in eerste instantie dan ook niet vinden. De locatie en het klimaat zorgden er misschien voor dat het bij eerste binnenkomst wat muf rook. Maar het was verder helemaal spic&span! Het beddengoed rook heerlijk naar wasmiddel en ook de badkamer en keuken waren heel schoon. Het huisje is goed uitgerust, veel keukengerei en ook veel poetsmiddelen ;). Heerlijke bank! Het enige wat wat ons betreft beter kan is fijn meubilair om buiten te zitten. Het park heeft heel verschillende huisjes, sommigen oud, anderen heel mooi opgeknapt. Er is een restaurant in een oude mansion, waar ook gewerkt werd aan verfraaiing. Ook is er een zwembad (binnen). Dat was het wat ons betreft nét niet; niet zo'n fris water en ;je mocht er niet rennen, duiken of balspelen doen.
