Esta fabulosa villa, conocida como Jasmine House, es un hermoso edificio antiguo de piedra, al estilo veneciano. Tiene todo lo que pueda desear para unas vacaciones de lujo al sol.

La hermosa propiedad ha sido renovada con estilo por sus propietarios ingleses para retener la mayor parte del carácter veneciano posible, al tiempo que ofrece algunos de los alojamientos más lujosos y cómodos disponibles en toda Croacia. La villa es MUY NUEVA y tiene muebles y accesorios exquisitos, para que pueda disfrutar de unas vacaciones de cinco estrellas.

Se encuentra en un pueblo tranquilo a pocos pasos sobre un bonito y bullicioso muelle con sus tiendas y restaurantes, en la encantadora isla de Vis.

La isla fue elegida recientemente para la filmación de "Mamma Mia 2 - Here we Go Again" con Meryl Streep, Colin Firth y Pierce Brosnan. Nuestra casa fue seleccionada para acomodar a uno de los VIP más importantes involucrados en la película (hemos tenido que firmar un NDA para que no podamos revelar quién). Pero podemos asegurarle que si reserva la casa, seguirá los pasos de Hollywood.

La propiedad ocupa una posición privilegiada en la bahía, por lo que tiene maravillosas vistas sobre la bahía de Vis, que es una configuración de postal. Hay un hermoso monasterio en un promontorio al otro lado, una pequeña isla en medio de la bahía y, por supuesto, el mar turquesa del Adriático. Puedes ver los yates y los barcos de pesca ir y venir, y disfrutar del sol de la tarde mientras se pone al otro lado de la bahía. Vis ha sido bendecido con algunas impresionantes puestas de sol y tendrás la mejor posición para disfrutarlas.

La gran ventaja de nuestra ubicación en Kut es que no necesita un automóvil todo el tiempo. Puedes caminar hasta el muelle en pocos minutos donde hay tiendas, supermercados, panaderías, bares y restaurantes. Tus noches pueden ser mucho más relajantes mientras paseas por la bahía y decides tu restaurante para la noche. O puede "comer" disfrutando del aire templado de la noche en nuestra terraza intermedia con iluminación ambiental sobre la mesa de mármol.

La isla de Vis sería adecuada para las personas que desean unas vacaciones completamente diferentes, no les gusta la comercialización y disfrutan de muy buena comida y vino. También pueden tener interés en la historia (mucha historia naval), navegación, buceo (restos griegos, romanos y 16c / 17c / 18c), viñedos, ecología (se dice que es la única isla totalmente orgánica del mundo) y hielo increíble. -crema.

La isla es una de las pocas islas genuinamente vírgenes del Mediterráneo, no hay hoteles de gran altura ni parques de villas aquí, pero tiene una cultura dálmata sofisticada y una excelente comida.

Hay tres pueblos principales en la isla: Vis 'Town' y Kut están a ambos lados de una fabulosa bahía en forma de C en la costa noreste, mientras que Komiza, un pequeño pueblo de pescadores está en el extremo oeste de la isla. El interior montañoso es pintoresco, vale la pena visitar. Hay grandes playas cerca de los 3 pueblos principales, y algunas más pequeñas en la costa este y sur de la isla, cerca de Stoncica, Milna y Rukavac. Hay playas de guijarros y arena en Vis.

What an amazing villa!

Great house and location for your Vis stay

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jasmine Villa. Great house, and location perfect for the nearby shops, boats, restaurants, and beaches. Spent our 10 days mixing activities (including cycling, swimming, snorkelling, boat trips, fishing) with enjoying time at the house and pool. Island is relatively small, but largely unspoilt by tourism. We would recommend as a destination- and Jasmine Villa a great place to experience it from.

Incredible house, apartment, and location!

What a fabulous house! The house has been completely renovated and is absolutely lovely, from the approach, to the terraces overlooking the bay of Vis and the harbor, to the comfy king-size beds. I stayed at the house as part of a larger group. My partner and I stayed in the one-bedroom apartment on the lower level. The apartment is cleverly hidden away from the main house, is very private, and has a separate entrance and its own garden terrace. It is fully furnished and can sleep up to four, with two sleeping in the bedroom and two on the sleeper-sofa (quite comfortable, by the way). The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, including a full-sized refrigerator and its own washer and dryer (very handy). Because my group had rented the whole house, we had access to the pool on the top terrace. What a treat to be able to jump into the pool after swimming in the Adriatic all day! The sunset views from the terraces on all three levels were amazing. I also enjoyed the location of the house. It is private and quiet, but yet conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants, bars, and small shops. In the mornings, we took advantage of a two mile walking trail, which loops around from the front of the house and ends up dropping you off right behind the house. A relaxing way to start the day. The photos on the website represent the house, apartment, and location perfectly. I will definitely stay here again and would recommend the house and apartment to anyone looking for a fantastic vacation stay!

A dream on Vis Island

Compared to many houses you rent, here you can feel it is owned by a private owner, and their heart and soul warm the house! From the very first second you see the house until the very last you can feel the host, you enjoy the hospitality and you could watch ships and boats roll in and out all day long! Vis in perfection!

Extraordinary Accommodation in a Magical Place

This house is even more beautiful in person. The location is ideal. Each room is very large with a King Size bed and views, and we loved the outdoor living spaces - the large corner table for lunches and dinners and the small table for watching sunsets. The pool is wonderful. We lounged, swam, and enjoyed amazing views. This place truly is magical!

We are planning our return!

I can’t say enough about this property. It was clean and the beds were comfortable and it was decorated beautifully. The villa was close to restaurants, a grocery store, and beaches. The directions on how to get there and what to do when we got there were easy to follow and accurate. We didn’t have any problems. It was really nice to be able to swim in a cool pool after an afternoon of sight seeing. We just loved it. The entire experience was top notch!

Beautiful Jasmin House

After lugging cases up steps only to find another lot of steps, then opening the door made it all worth it to the most beautiful spacious Villa, every room was as lovely as the next with the most beautiful view over looking the bay. We loved eating our dinner outside in the shaded dining area and cooling off in the lovely pool. The shops and restaurants 5 mins walk, with a yummy bakery. Every place we eat was wonderful the first restaurant down the steps is the very best. Near the port Dionis restaurant serves Gluten free pasta and was very nice. 10 mins to the right is a cute little beach unspoilt. We felt like we were in a luxury Villa and felt very special.

Beautifully presented, large villa with every possible need provided for and thought of! The pool is fabulous and the views are wonderful. A very easy walk to shops, restaurants and the sea. Perfect location on this wonderful Croatian island. Superb place for a holiday. Would highly recommend it!

The house has a lovely pool and terraces, along with excellent en-suite bedrooms. The fixtures and fittings are high quality. The location in Kut is an excellent base for Vis Town and the island - we had a great time. (Note that access to the property means that it would not be ideal for someone with difficulty with steps or steep slopes.) A great place - thanks.

Beautiful villa wonderful location.

This is not our first time in Croatia but it is our first in Vis. We were not disappointed! The villa was beautiful perfectly equipped all that you could possibly need. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with own hairdryer. Kitchen really well equipped all appliances that you possibly need. The villa also supplied pool and beach towels also mats and cooler bags for the beach. So thoughtful! The location is perfect the only placed we have stayed where you really don't need or miss a car. Restaurants, shops, bakery all just a short walk. There is a beach just a 15/20 min walk away also. Vis is beautiful, cobbled streets beautiful 14 century buildings and churches. There are many different restaurants to choose from all reasonably priced with local food and wine. Jan was extremely helpful with ferries and travel arrangements we were met and taken to the villa with help on booking ferries. Thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful villa and to experience Vis. We will definitely return again.

A beautiful house in a charming location. Perfect for a relaxing holiday!

All practical matters before and during our holiday in Vis were smoothly handled by the host and owner of the property. It was our first experience of HomeAway and it will not be the last. The house is beautiful, well managed and highly functional with separate shiny new bathrooms for each bedroom. We felt at home right away. Having access to a pool was just amazing. The location is perfect with a wonderful view over the bay and the town of Vis. We had many nice meals in different restaurants in Vis, especially good quality fish and seafood. It was our first visit in Vis but definitely not the last. We already look forward to the next one. We can highly recommend this property. //Angelina (Sweden)

This is a stunning, restful and magical place

We were bowled over by this house. It's location is superb with great views from all aspects. The house has very recently been renovated extremely well. It is light, spacious and beautifully finished. We particularly liked the bedroom arrangements which meant that each of the three coupled had a spacious self-contained area to themselves. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic Villa

Previous reviews say it all but maybe do not convey what a truly special place this is in terms of location, views, furnishings, facilities, levels of comfort, luxury and service. In this magical place, stress disappears and time does not seem to matter. What a tonic! I am not sure 5 stars is enough! We will be back.

Spectacular villa

This was a real treat. A beautifully renovated stone house over three levels with lots of space to relax inside and out plus the added (and unusual for Vis) bonus of a pool. The position is wonderful with views over the bay and Vis town from all the bedrooms as well as the patios and lounge. We even had a view out to sea whilst showering! A good selection of restaurants and bars to wander to in the evening and a bakery close by for breakfast breads and croissants. Lovely for walking either along to the headland where there is a good little swimming beach or in the other direction round the bay into Vis town and harbour where there are many more restaurants and some nice little shops. The villa is spotless and extremely well appointed with good quality furniture and kitchenware. All the bedrooms were en suite, very spacious with beautiful comfy beds. I can thoroughly recommend this villa and would go back at the drop of a hat.

Wow - A fantastic villa in a beautiful location.

Jasmine villa exceeded our high expectations in every way! The property has been renovated with great care and attention to detail, and offers luxurious, well laid out accommodation, with amazing sea views. The bedrooms were all good sizes, with quality en-suite facilities; the beds were extremely comfortable, and there was plenty of storage space. The lounge/dining area offered large, comfy sofas and was well stocked with books and games. The kitchen was very well equipped, and plenty of indoor and outdoor crockery was provided. The outside dining area was a lovely, shaded spot where we enjoyed lunch most days. The pool area was immaculate, with quality sun loungers and further dining table and chairs; an added bonus was that pool and beach towels were provided. In our opinion the pool terrace offers the best views out across the bay and is by far the best place to watch the sunset!Vis is a beautiful, totally unspoilt island and was well worth the two hour ferry crossing to get there. We would certainly recommend this property to family and friends, and would definitely stay here again if we return to the island. The owners were very helpful and always responded quickly to our emails.Anyone looking to book this villa will not be disappointed, we had an absolutely fabulous week!

Stunning, modern villa in perfect location

This stunning villa has just been totally renovated to the very top specification. It was immaculate and is in a great location -- a 20 minute walk from the ferry port and with the best views in Vis. It has everything you might need for a relaxing stay and is exceptionally well-equipped (right from the kitchen utensils to the full bookshelves!) The rooms are modern and stylish, there is great outdoor space on both of the terraces, and it is such a bonus having a private pool with views of the sunset. There are a number of good restaurants and bars within a short walk and the whole area is remarkably unspoilt. We had such a relaxing week in this villa and would love to come back soon.

Best holiday yet

In our view this the best house, in the best position, on the best island in Croatia....you will not be disappointed!! The views across Vis harbour are phenomenal, the house is amazing and beautifully designed. We were a group of 5 adults and 1 child and rented 3 bedrooms for a week, there are so many little spots to escape to that we each felt like we had plenty of space at all times. Our day would usually start with a dip in the Adriatic just below the house, a coffee in one of the great little restaurant/ cafe's in Kut Harbour and then the really hard decision...what to purchase for lunch! The little cheese/ cured meat stand just below the house in Kut is excellent, all local and delicious! The fruit and vegg available at the markets (in Kut and Vis) is amazing quality. We enjoyed so many beautiful lunches on the middle terrace, sitting at the lovely stone table looking out over the harbour sipping on a yummy glass of chilled local wine. The kitchen is excellent, it's spacious and has everything you will need to cook at home. If we weren't off exploring the island and it's beautiful beaches in the morning or afternoon then we were firmly planted on one of the deckchairs around the pool, occasionally looking up from our reading material to admire the view....pure bliss! Jan was very kind to arrange Sara to babysit, so we had a few nights eating out. We can highly recommend Roki's, Lola Konoba (also an amazing bar and garden) and for something very special Villa Kaliopa. One of the best meals of the holiday was the little beach restaurant at Stoncica beach (Konoba Stoncica I think)...the octopus salad was spectacular! We loved Grandovac beach (a 15 minute stroll along the waterfront from the house) and Srebrna is definitely worth a visit. Jan was an amazing host and went above and beyond to make this holiday the best one yet. Thanks for such an amazing week!! I just hope we have the opportunity to make it back one day.

Beautiful Kut House

We stayed at Jasmine Kuca for two weeks in early July. It is amazing. Jasmine Kuca is a completely renovated house very near to Kut harbour. It has been both restored and furnished to give it an understated and elegant character that suits it perfectly. The beds are large and very comfortable, and the sizeable bathrooms are immaculate and (unlike a lot of places) have windows allowing them to be very well ventilated. There is plenty of storage space in the bedrooms. Every room has fantastic views out across Vis Harbour and waking up to see the blue of the harbour and the boats heading out for the day is a joy. The kitchen is well designed and has plenty of room for cooking and preparing food, and is very practical. The lower level of the house is open, the kitchen, living area and lower level terrace all forming a lovely living area. The terrace is shaded and the stone table set into the terrace is a perfect place for meals. The house is very close to Kut Harbour, which is distinct from Vis but forms part of the horseshoe harbour that runs for a mile or so from the Ferry Terminal at one end to Kut at the other. The house is a short five-minute walk from local shops (which sell everything that we needed) and three or four lovely restaurants in Kut. It is a twenty-minute walk (or five minute cycle) down into Vis, where there are more shops and restaurants. We had a car on the island, which we were able to park on the road just above the house (the road is an old gravel road), which made getting around the island from the house very easy. The house has a self-contained apartment beneath the lower level: this has no access to the house and is not noticeable (in any respect) from the house. The house is wonderful: beautiful, comfortable, relaxing and practical. It made for a brilliant holiday and without doubt we will return.

A Croatian Idyll....

This property is stunning, with arguably one of the best views over the Bay of Vis. All the rooms have generous proportions, beautifully fitted out with a simple elegant style. There is a choice of outside seating areas, offering shade or full sun, with ample space for large parties to socialize comfortably, whilst at the same time affording individuals the opportunity to retreat to a quiet corner, in this superbly designed villa. The pool is convenient for a refreshing dip on the terrace, although the real joy is to walk down a few stone steps to the waterfront of Kut and swim in the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic. The Island if Vis offers unspoilt Croatian charm; delightful shady streets provide a tranquil contrast to the busy waterfront with an ever changing pageant of yachts & fishing boats. There is a wide choice of restaurants and bars to choose from. My husband and I enjoyed the most relaxing week at Jasmin Kuca, and very much look forward to visiting again soon.

Something Special

One of the best properties on the island with breathtaking views. A fabulous stone house, with top of the range facilities, immaculately presented with a fresh design approach. The top bedroom with the exposed beams really feels very special, and the room with access to the pool is great for teenagers and sun worshipers! We ate alfresco on the private middle terrace with huge marble table on a couple of occasions as it is a lovely space, but with so many restaurants offering local delicacies and fresh, original food, we were tempted out most nights. We ventured a stones throw behind the seafront (both sides of the harbour) and found little gems, tucked away in a beautiful courtyard gardens. We hired a rib to jet off to the blue caves for a magical experience, and to Andros' Island for a delicious lunch. We had an early flight inbound which gave us the time to explore Split before the catamaran whisked us over to Vis. It is well worth exploring this ancient and beautiful place and finding the steps which take you up the hill at the end of the marina for a wonderful panoramic view of the city. However, Vis has plenty of its own charm and romance; providing that precious chance to escape reality and really unwind. Thank you for one of the best holidays ever.

Great Villa - Great location

Absolutely great stay at the villa last summer, The Island is fantastic and the position of the property, you could not ask for better. We stayed with another couple and given the layout this was ideal as each of us had the same floor layouts with large double bedrooms and bathrooms on each floor. The terrace on the top floor makes for a great evening venue to sit around and have a great dinner and a few drinks while you look over the water. I can't recommend a stay here m ore, fantastic spot and great re staurants on you door step with the water only a few steps from the front door. All up a fantastic holiday.

A beautiful house

This is a beautiful house on a beautiful island. The bedrooms have wonderfully high ceilings and windows directly over the water where you can read in the afternoon with no sound but lapping water. The top balcony is a great spot for sunset cocktails. The village has almost no cars so the kids can walk to the bakery for breakfast croissants. There are excellent beaches, both within walking distance and on a ride around the island and numerous good restaurants within a walk of the house. A final highlight was the people watching in the waterfront village square every evening. All in all, a terrific holiday.

Wonderful accommodation with peerless view of Vis

This review relates to a visit in July 2013, although we have visited this house on a number of occasions. The house is beautiful and, being tucked away on the Kut quayside, in a superb location. It has a 'townhouse' layout, with a well-equipped kitchen on the ground floor, a large bedroom and bathroom on the first and second floors (the first floor also has its own terrace), and a living room and balcony/terrace on the third floor. The views from the balcony are fantastic. Personally I could stay up there all day. Location is ideal for local shops and restaurants, and the communal car park is a five minute walk away. Vis town is an easy walk or even easier bike ride. The house was immaculately clean and well-maintained. The practicalities are very straightforward indeed and could not be easier. We have been dealing with the owner for years now and sorting things out has always been a pleasure. I would recommend the house to anyone - and indeed have done. I think the best I can say is that we have been coming to Vis since 2005 and the house is the only place we look to when booking our trips.

We are a semi-retired couple, who found the island of Vis by accident...and realised it was one of the truly magical places in the world! We fell in love with the island and set about buying a ruin and then commissioning a local builder to renovate it. No idea how we managed it, but we did, and now the house is a delight.

We have several guests who come back to our house every year, and we also like to rent to people who are smart enough to find our own villapoolcroatia site and so have seen the extra pictures and our film.

We didn't intend to buy a house, but like many holidaymakers we amused ourselves by asking a local agent to show us what was for sale, and as we walked up the steps of this house we saw the view and we knew we had to move heaven and earth to make it ours.
