Ven y disfruta de todo lo que la bulliciosa ciudad de Hvar tiene para ofrecer. A solo dos minutos en coche del centro de la ciudad, pero en la intimidad que compartirás entre tus amigos o familiares. La villa tiene 4 dormitorios y 3. 5 baños. Tres habitaciones son grandes y tienen camas king size, mientras que la cuarta habitación es más pequeña y tiene dos camas individuales. Además, se puede agregar una cama individual en las habitaciones con cama doble. La villa tiene un comedor exterior cubierto con barbacoa, piscina infinita y cenador que ofrece increíbles puestas de sol hacia la isla de Vis. Villa está orientada al sur con vistas al mar sin obstáculos. La propiedad cuenta con un cuidado jardín mediterráneo con una gran cantidad de plantas y hierbas locales.

Mario is extremely accommodating, the villa is in a great position, close enough to be convenient, far enough away to be quiet. The view from the villa is wonderful. Thank you!

There is absolutely nothing that disappoints about this villa. Beautifully constructed and furnished, lovely grounds, quiet, private, and with an incredible view. Around 20-30 minutes walk to the centre of Hvar (or 4 minutes in a taxi), and a great coastal path in the other direction. Mario has a lot of knowledge of the area. It was a very special place to stay.

Beautiful villa with a view

From the start we were already looking forward to our stay at villa Galapagos as the communication was great, very quick answers to any questions we had. The villa itself is beautiful, couldn’t ask for more. Loads of space and very thoughtfully decorated ( and super comfortable beds!) Views are incredible, and the use of the outside space just helps to provide a setting to relax and enjoy them. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay

Beautiful Home , Million Dollar View

Beautiful home with a million dollar view. This villa is exactly as pictured, spacious, comfortable and well appointed. We were a family group of 8 adults and could have spent all of our 6 days without ever leaving the house. The house is new and modern, the kitchen well stocked, and the pool is pristine. As other reviews have mentioned the walk back from town is short , but very steep and the road is not conducive to walking, especially at night. Taxis are always available, but expensive (100-150 kuna, $16-24 each way depending on the driver and the number of people). Make sure to budget for that. There is also a grocery store (Konzum) and farmers market next to the taxi stand. The info and recommendations the owner provides is thorough and very helpful. Overall it is one of the nicest villas with the most beautiful view our family has ever rented. It's impressive. Thank you Mario.

Fantastic Villa - Great for Entertaining

Great property just outside Hvar, wonderful facilities. Very peaceful and lovely to be away from the very busy town centre with a 10 minute walk to the beach ( not ideal for toddlers or the elderly though) The Villa itself is prefect for those that like to cook for themselves, really great BBQ area and outside eating. The bedrooms were well thought out and the beds extremely comfortable, the Villa was spotless. The living area was generous - all in all it worked perfectly for the two families of 9 adults. Mario the owner was prompt in answering emails and generally very helpful. The only negative is the fourth room which is very small - that said it didn't matter to us. The transfer to Hvar isn't brilliant so my advice would be to check the timings carefully so that you don't waste any of your valuable holiday time.

Gorgeous villa (views!) with every amenity possible and an amazing host!

First and foremost, Mario is an awesome host. He is incredibly responsive and helpful, providing little tidbits even when unexpected (for instance, he personally greeted us and set up welcome drinks upon arrival!) Our group of 7 stayed at Villa Galapagos, it was more than perfect. The villa sits atop a hill so there is a breathtaking view of the ocean - I'd recommend you enjoy the view from one of the balconies or the infinity pool. There is an incredible view of a small round island with a cute lighthouse on it. The rooms are spacious, comfortably furnished and clean. Little touches abound, such as a mini music Jambox, a printer and even a washer dryer! There is also a beautiful outdoor dining table, so in advance of our visit, we coordinated with a private chef (Mario knows details) who prepared for us a 4-course local Croatian meal that was our best meal of the trip. Appertifs by the poolside, followed by dinner with wine pairing... highly suggest looking into this option for one night. Location wise it's about a 5 min cab ride away from town - cabs are easy to call and cost around 100-150 kuna. During the day, 20-25 min walk (easier to walk heading to town as you're walking downhill). This was a vacation to remember, high recommendations for Mario and his villa!!

Amazing Villa in Hvar

What an amazing place to stay at, perfect location, so close, virtually two to three minutes to the restaurants and clubs in Hvar town and yet surrounded by olive groves and serenity. You can either walk to town or take a two minute taxi ride to all the fun. The villa has unobstructed sea views from every corner. What makes this villa so special are the details how it was built and all the amenities it provides from organic shampoo to top quality appliances or silverware. The kitchen is another highlight, enough gadgets to please a gourmet chef. One night the owner provided us with a private chef, Yvan who is French and worked most of his career for Four Seasons. It was a delight eating Croatian Food with a French twist. Town Hvar is a fantastic place - great bars whether day or night, attractive restaurants, spectacular scenery and lots of beautiful girls. While vacationing in Hvar was great, the real "star" of the trip was the villa. I work hard during the year and relaxing during vacation is crucial for me. We would definitely return again.
