Short walk to the beach through Island Retreats Resort Private boardwalk from this second-floor condo. Great unit for a family, complete with new flat screen TVs and appliances. TVs located in Living Room and Bedrooms. Kitchen is equipped to prepare meals for family and friends. Great views from outside private sitting area overlooking common area and shared pool. You can just relax on the balcony after a day at the beach or walk down to the large pool. Unit is equipped with Wi-Fi Laundry facilities on the premises that are open during the day and close at night.

We’ve been coming to Port A for years and always make it a point to stay in different areas of town and this was the best spot yet! We loved the fact that it was tucked away from 11th street due to all the noise from golf carts and loud music. The inside of the condo was marvelous! Super clean, comfortable bedding and sitting areas, and the kids loved the most was the AC was “the bomb”. Tons of windows and great views of the pool and beach! Definitely have found our forever spot here in Port Aransas!!

Perfect Little Beachside Condo

Great condo, was impressed by the quality and cleanliness, and of course perfect location for a weekend beach stay. Very comfortable, quiet (off-season so that's expected), and well equipped. Very good communication from the property management that made the whole check in and check out process seamless and easy.

Nice Accomodations - Some Issues

The condo was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located in respect to stores and attractions. Very nice pool and easy access to beach. We did have to deal with the WiFi being out for 2 days due to outdated/bad equipment, but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Our experience

I will say overall we loved the condo and view of the pool and view of the oven, BUT I was NOT happy with being left with NO CLEANING supplies to clean with, I called and asked for a broom and was told someone would bring me a broom twice and towels to wash counters with and NEVER was. Was only left two trash bags for 5 days. That is my complaint with this property. I was unable to sweep and clean up beach sand with kids due to having NO SUPPLIES to clean with. I am a clean freak and hated it but it was out of my hands.

Perfect Location

I was so happy with our choice to stay at this property. It may not have looked too exciting from the parking lot. But everything is new and nicely decorated. The back patio looks out over the common green space/pool area and you can even watch the sunrise, though it is always better to see on the beach. Having a boardwalk available to get to the beach was so convenient Everything in town is within a little over a mile. I would definitely stay here again. The only negative was that satellite would not get a clear picture (but netflix did work in living room). We had never been to Port Aransas and were quite happy we chose to visit!

Beach was close by, easy to access for night fishing or early morning stroll.

Nice place/location

This was a nice condo, seemed to have fresh paint, new rugs, and updated kitchen. The view of the pool and ocean was good. Patio chairs were new and pretty teal color. Free Netflix in living room. A/C ran well. The only negatives were broken towel racks in each bathroom, broken toilet paper holder in one bathroom, and not enough hooks/racks to hang things like towels/suits. We had a great stay!

The only bad thing I can really say was some of the remotes didn’t have batteries that worked, and having a child that has autism not having internet connection was a bit of an issue but I loved the property and would rent again ! Staff during check in process was beyond helpful (Brenda) was polite, made my check in experience a good one for sure.

Perfect getaway for our family of 5@

This was the perfect getaway for our family. Codo is clean, well stocked and very well maintained. The a/c works great! Easy checkin/out process. Definitely will be back. Wish the water pressure was better but other than that, perfect condo for my family.

Life in Paradise staff was very nice and helpful. There was rude staff at the condo site. For the most part, we loved Island Retreat, but now we are contemplating whether we should ever stay there again due to the rude staff.
