Studio La Duquesa
Beautiful and cozy studio located on the first line in the lively Port de la Duquesa, Costa del Sol (Spain).
We are happy to share our enchanting place in this charming little port that won us over when we set foot.
This beautiful one-bedroom apartment, perfect for 2 people, is located right in the middle of the buzzing bars and restaurants of the port. Duquesa Beach is just a few steps away!
We renovated the apartment in 2020 and it's furnished and furbished to a very high standard, all furniture is modern and all have been tastefully decorated in "marine style".
There is a small balcony overlooking the harbor, perfect for enjoying the incredible view and the sun that will accompany you all day until sunset.
The apartment has a very comfortable queen-sized double bed with a direct view of the sea.
In the aisle, there's a built-in wardrobe with drawers and hangers.
The bathroom has a pleasant and spacious shower and has a door to the internal patio, where we keep all the cleaning gear.
You will enjoy all the modern comforts you would expect from your own home including hot/cold air conditioning and flat-screen TV; the open kitchen is fully equipped and has a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, water kettle, etc.
Wifi is included.
Cleaning fee to be paid cash upon arrival (50€).
It's strictly prohibited to smoke inside the studio, only permitted on the balcony.
We have no private parking but there's plenty of free parking space all around the port.
Consult with us for parking options.

BARE IN MIND:
You will be right on top of the most popular cafes, famous for their delicious breakfasts and cocktails!
And just a few steps to restaurants, live music bars, and little shops.
Across the building's main entrance, there's an Arkwrights Supermarket
At the weekend some bars have karaoke.
If you're looking for silence, though, this is not the place for you!
AROUND THE PORT:
You can enjoy the environment while sipping a drink in one of the small cafes or having dinner in one of the many restaurants admiring the colourful boats and yachts right in front.
In a few minutes walk both west and eastwards you can find beaches with the characteristic "Chiringuitos" where you can rent 2 beds and a parasol for just 8€ a day, and have a typical Spanish lunch or dinner right on the beach!
A short walk west of Puerto de la Duquesa is the small fishing village of Castillo de la Duquesa from which the marina takes its name.
The castle built in 1767 can be visited and is often used for local exhibitions.
A short and pleasant walk to the east along the beach brings us to the fishing village of Sabinillas.
On the way from the beaches to the mountains, you find the famous white villages of Manilva, Casares, and Gaucin, all within an hour's drive.
A 15 minutes drive brings you to the coastal town of Estepona, one of the few that has succeeded in maintaining its pueblo charm and character.
The numerous street cafes and tapas bars still serve traditional Spanish delicacies. In the 'old town' the steep, narrow streets are pedestrianized and decorated with different colored flower pots. It is a delight for photographers. You will find bars and small shops in Estepona, where you'd least expect them, all very inviting and friendly.
Just 25 km away is Gibraltar and worth a visit.
Cosmopolitan life can be found just twenty-five minutes away in the city of Marbella with a jet-set point in Puerto Banus or an endless variety of small shops and boutiques that line the cobbled streets of the Old Marbella.
HANDY TO KNOW
Right in front of the building's main entrance, there's an Arkwright's supermarket: open every day from 8.30 am till 10 pm.
In the flat, there is a washing machine.
If you need a dryer, there is a self-service laundromat around the corner.
