The structure consists of superbly restored trulli and lamias in one of the most beautiful countryside of Italy and about 10 km from beautiful and unspoiled beaches. The structure, surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, has 5 bedrooms (including a characteristic alcove) equipped with air conditioning for a total of 11 beds; two bathrooms, two kitchens (one indoor and one outdoor with barbecue), an irregularly shaped pool with waterfall, solarium, hot and cold water whirlpool; indoor parking, WiFi to cover the entire structure, bicycles to visit the beautiful surrounding countryside. The nearest airports: Brindisi BDS Airport (45 Km) and Bari BRI Airport (100 km).
A few kilometers away you can visit the splendid ancient villages of Ceglie Messapica, Cisternino, Locorotondo, Martina Franca and the incredible Valle d'Itria with its wonderful trulli.

Perfect villa in beautiful Puglia

Absolutely beautiful villa, with gorgeous pool and grounds. Really spacious and beautifully developed property. Air-conditioning kept the lovely bedrooms cool and very comfortable. The large indoor / outdoor kitchen right by the pool is a fabulous social space, we loved using the grill and pizza oven. Lots of separate outdoor seating areas and gardens were very well maintained. Pool was regularly cleaned and just perfect during the hot July weather. Great communication from Giovanna. Could not have asked for more!

Size of Trullo just right for 3 family groups.Each had their own space if they wanted it. Facilities first class.All our family loved it especially our granddaughters 4 and 7. Lots of space for them to play besides t9he pool.

The place was just beautiful! the main building/trulli was very nice and comfortable. The outdoor kitchen was great as a community space. One night we had a chef cook us dinner, but it was quite cold, so we used the indoor kitchen which worked out fine. We did not use the beautiful pool as we are from Florida and it was too cold for our taste. The grounds were impeckable.The area is very quiet and located between several towns, Ostuni the closest. La Famila Superstore is 11 minutes away and has almost everything you could need. You definitely need a car.We had a couple of issues with the gate malfunctioning, but Giovanna was on it quickly and Lorenzo came out and fixed the issues.She is a great hostess!

An amazing stay

The property was fantastic, set just outside ostuni in amongst the olive groves. The property was large, with a great pool, hot tub, and outside kitchen and eating areas. We were a group of 7 and had lots of space, with 2 couple enjoying their own private annexes, and the others having plenty of space on the main house. The outside kitchen was a group favourite, with great cooking facilities and lots of space for both cooking and eating. Lots of space for parking and easy to find! Highly recommend this stay!

Beautiful property in the heart of Puglia

Lovely property. We had a few issues with moisture in one of the buildings, but overall it was a lovely house and would be incredible in the summer.

All excellent except Internet and Safe.

The property is very beautiful and done with a lot of good taste. Service and location are excellent. The only negatives are:The Internet. When it was working, it was extremely slow (1 Mbps), but most of the time it was not.There is a safe in the house with a combination, however, it was not working.

Perfect days

We had the best days in Apulia, Borgo del Trullo Magno is a really charming property, tasteful, calm, well equipped, well maintained and absolutely beautiful. Our host Giovanna was very nice, check in by phone was perfect and she helped us promptly with everything. Her touristic suggestions were good propositions.

Trullo heaven

This villa is absolutely beautiful. Ideal for a group with adults as separate spaces with bathrooms across the property. Really good aircon in the bedrooms. The outside area with pool is even more stunning than the photos. Giovanna the manager was brilliant and immediately contactable. BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL.

Amazing house

Our hospitality was perfect, the house is super comfortable and clean. The place is amazing, we were nine people (kids, adults and teenagers) and everyone had the best time. The pool is big and brings everybody together. The kitchens are full with new dishes and the rooms are big and cozy. The decoration of the house overall is carefully arranged and every element is beautiful! Giovanna was super thoughtful giving us all the attention we needed.

Fantastic time in the Itria Valley

We had a wonderful time and our stay at the Borgo exceeded expectations. We biked all around the area and came to feel very much at home. The quality of the Borgo and Giovani's communication skills and hospitality added significantly to such a memorable time. The facility is as advertised and Giovani was very attentive. Wonderful country residence

This is a truly enchanting and beautiful trullo. So many beautiful touches and peaceful parts of this property. We had an 8 person and 1 baby family break and we’re delighted with the charm and beauty of this property. Peaceful & relaxing, but close to Ostuni and Martina Franca. Giovanni was very helpful. We will book again soon.

Beautiful Trulli

We thought the Trulli was beautiful and located perfectly. A little trouble at first until we could figure things out as no English directions left by appliances. Gorgeous flowers and grounds. We took day trips most days that were very interesting and then swam and rested at Trulli before cooking or going out to dinner. Host easy to be in touch with for solving our problems and organizing. Highly recommend.

Peaceful Paradise

What a beautiful place, absolutely gorgeous! Ideal for large families. Inside, the four bedrooms, all with separate bathrooms, are neat and tidy and tastefully decorated. Outside the standard is as high as the inside. Build within an vintage olive groove, the whole property is neat and every corner gives different angles to experience the whole Puglia feeling. A little paradise.The central, separate kitchen is a perfect hub, where you can gather with your loved ones and have great moments. It's equipped with an induction hob, a fireplace and a clementi wood-fired oven and a great BIG fridge and with more than enough accessoires. And last but not least, Giovanna personally ensures that absolutely nothing is missing so that all ingredients are there to experience a very special holiday! Thanks Giovanna!

Exquisite rural retreat

We arrived at dusk and the host, Filumena, had lit candles round the pool, set the hot tub bubbling and provided food and drink as a welcome. It was magical. This villa is in rural Puglia, the nearest town is Ostuni, and it is perfect for the ultimate getaway. You have a two bed / three bedroom villa, amazing outside kitchen and relaxing space and a fabulous pool. Filumena provides recommendations, can book a restaurant and advises on places to go. She could not have done any more for us. This is a real luxury treat. Thank you.

A stunning piece of paradise

We have just returned from a fantastic week here. Giovanna was excellent throughout the booking process and the stay itself, always available with any questions. We were a group of 4 adults and 4 children and felt very welcome. The pool and hot tub were brilliant and kept very clean by Giovanna's team and the accommodation itself was also spotless. We we loved cooking over fire every night in the outdoor kitchen, which is very well equipped with every appliance and utensil one could need. The fridges are large so there's no problems with storage at all. Walking through the beautiful gardens admiring the old olive trees was a lovely way to start each day and Ostuni is only a short drive away with excellent facilities. We would recommend this to anyone.

Fabulous home for a family vacation.

The property is beautiful and the pictures are very accurate. The main house has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with showers a small kitchen and dining area. Attached to the main house are 2 more bedrooms with exterior entrances with ensuites. Our families favourite space was the big kitchen, with big sliding glass doors overlooking the beautiful pool. Giovanna our host was very accessible and answered all questions immediately. We had one small issue that was dealt with within an hour. Given we used all 4 bedrooms and showers, hot water was never an issue and neither was water pressure. The kitchen was well equipped with glassware, plates, pots, knives etc…. The location for us was perfect because it was central for all our day trips. There is no question for anyone staying in this area that a car is mandatory. We would highly recommend!

Beautiful restful holiday

We stayed as a grown up family of five and had a truly fantastic time. The trullo is just glorious. We had so much space . It was very well maintained throughout and communication with Giovanna was excellent. The only downs I could say are, don’t expect the bikes to be anything near good as they are very tired and old and they could do with a couple of sharp knives (however this is a normal drawback of a villa holiday) . All in all, we had a brilliant time. The villa is well situated to go exploring by car which is essential, there are some fantastic, rustic local restaurants about a five minute drive away that we went to several times. We did manage to get an Uber into Ostuni for dinner a couple of times but I would advise you book the return trip as we nearly had to walk it home once which is around 6 km on a main road. The gardens, pool and outside kitchen were amazing and totally lived up to all the pictures. Having never stayed this far out from the main towns before we really appreciated the enormous amounts of space we had. My grown up children loved the separate sleeping areas as they felt they had their own space. The main supermarket is about 6km away and well stocked. Good local market on a Saturday and another in Martina Franka on Wednesdays. Ostuni is just beautiful and is full of great places to eat and socialise as well as shop. It was our first time to Italy and I will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful haven of peace and a truly restful holiday

Great stay

Eight of us spent a comfortable week at the house (4 adults and 4 kids). The beds were surprisingly comfortable and the air conditioning worked very well. There was no air conditioning in the common areas or large kitchen but it was very comfortable even when outside temperatures were quite hot. The kids loved the pool. The adults loved the spacious kitchen. My only criticism was that although the property manager was very responsive via text, we had a remote check in and it took us a while to figure out some of the amenities. We arrived late at night and did not realize that we needed to have brought our own drinking water. The property manager organized a wonderful cooking class (highly recommended, even for kids) but we didn’t realize that we needed to arrange for lighter fluid for the wood-fired oven. The washing machine was very different from American machines. The electronic gate was a bit tricky. In all, everything worked fine but it took a couple days to figure things out in the absence of a written manual or in-person explanation. But I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful Trullo, good location for exploring

First the positives. Beautiful, tastefully renovated trullo with amazing grounds and pool area. The property was perfect for our family of grandparents, sister’s family and our daughters. The outdoor kitchen became the hub for our holiday at the villa and has got everything you need and more. The seating around the pool and the kitchen could be a little more comfortable maybe a lounging set as the tables and chairs were all quite rigid and uncomfortable for long periods when eating. The grounds of the property are amazingly well kept and substantial in size. Now the negatives 3-4 of the sun beds on arrival were in need of some repair but there were plenty beds to go around so we avoided some of the beds as best we could, we didn’t raise this with the owner as it was not an issue for us. However on one of the days my sister was using a sun bed and it gave way and the material ripped and she hurt her back. All was fine and we quickly got over it and moved the damaged bed out of the way. We reported the issue to the gardener/maintenance guy the next day who was tending the pool and grounds as a courtesy. Unfortunately at this point the owner got quite aggressive and nasty via WhatsApp blaming us for the damage and asking us to pay extra costs. We were adamant that this was due to the poor repair of the beds, but we got blamed for the kids bouncing on them (ages 2, 11, 14) and then cos we were overweight!! Document any issues on arrival immediately or you will be made to pay.
