Calypso Villa on 3 makuuhuoneen, 3. 5 kylpyhuoneen talo, jossa on suuret sisätilat ja tilavat ulkokannet ja terassit. Hyvällä paikalla monen hehtaarin aidatulla kiinteistöllä sijaitseva Calypso Villa tarjoaa vieraillemme kauniit ja yksityiset puitteet, joista on panoraamanäköala merelle.

Calypso Villa sijaitsee yksinoikeudella asuinalueella laaksossa, Virgin Gordassa, ja on 150 jaardin kävelymatkan päässä Crookin lahden rannalta. Huvila sijaitsee ihanteellisella paikalla alle 5 minuutin ajomatkan päässä tusinasta ravintolasta, Virgin Gordan jahtisatamasta, Virgin Gordan lentokentältä, kaikista saaren ruokakaupoista ja puoli tusinaa maailmanluokan rantaa, mukaan lukien The Baths, Devils Bay, Spring Bay ja Valley Trunk. Calypso on ihanteellinen paikka nauttia parhaimmasta Virgin Gordasta.

Calypso Villa on suunniteltu ja sijaitseva hyödyntämään vallitsevia kaupallisia tuulia ja maksimoimaan Karibian merelle avautuvat näkymät. Calypso-huvilassa on täysin varustettu kokin keittiö, jossa on graniittiset ja ruostumattomasta teräksestä valmistetut laitteet. Talossa on myös Weber-bbq ja hiiligrilli. Aterioinnissa on kolme vaihtoehtoa, mukaan lukien sisätiloissa oleva ruokapöytä, jossa palvelu 8: lle, tiikkipöytä, uima-altaan kannella, palvelu 8: lle ja pienempi teak-pöytä, palvelu 4: lle, katetulla kuistilla.

Huvilan toisessa paviljongissa on kolme tilavaa makuuhuonetta, joissa jokaisessa on oma kylpyhuone. Makuuhuoneessa on king-size-vuode, oma ulkosuihku, oma terassi, kaapeli-tv, ilmastointi, mini jääkaappi ja kattotuuletin.

½ portaita alas ja suoraan makuuhuoneen alapuolelle on kaksi ylimääräistä makuuhuonetta, jotka yhdistää lyhyt sisäkäytävä. Tämän tason ensimmäisessä makuuhuoneessa on king-size-vuode, oma ulkosuihku, oma istuinkuisti, kaapeli-tv, ilmastointi ja kattotuuletin. Toisessa vierashuoneessa on kaksi queen size-vuodetta ja taitettava sänky. Tässä makuuhuoneessa voi nukkua kaksi aikuista tai korkeintaan neljä lasta ja se tarjoaa vieraillemme paljon joustavuutta nukkumisjärjestelyissä. Kuten muutkin makuuhuoneet, tämä on varustettu ilmastoinnilla, kattotuulettimella ja kaapeli-tv: llä.

Calypso Villaa ympäröivät rehevät puutarhat, täynnä kukkia ja trooppista kasvillisuutta. Kiinteistössä on lukuisia hedelmäpuita, kuten kalkki, mango ja papaija.

Very comfortable, convenient location, spectacular view

Our stay at Calypso Villa could not have been better. We were just a short drive from The Baths, beaches, snorkeling, and restaurants. From the house there is a trail leading to a small beach on Crook's Bay - not for swimming but beautiful and we had fun looking for sea glass and shells there and watching the waves come in over the big rocks. The check-in was flawless and Morgana, the property manager, checked in on us a few times to make sure we were happy or if we needed anything. Michelle was also quite helpful leading up to our stay and detailed suggestions on logistics of getting there and boat charters/snorkel rental etc. Highly recommend taking advantage of the fridge stocking service since we found that grocery shopping was the last thing we wanted to do after a long day of travel. Beds and pillows were comfortable, and the living area/outside seating was quite cozy and comfortable too - peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend this property!

The BEST vacation

Our family of four myself, my husband and our two boys ages 8 and 10 had the best week on Virgin Gorda and in this villa. When we first arrived and walked down the pathway that led to the pool and the villa we were blown away by the property and the view. The listing pictures just do not do this place justice. The beach down from the house, while you can’t swim there, entertained my kids for hours hunting and finding sea glass. We drove to a different beach every day and had the best time. We felt completely safe, not only in this villa, but also on this island. This home was well equipped and beautifully laid out. It was too windy the week we were there to use, but the home had beach, umbrellas, chairs and other beach equipment. If you have younger kids, it was well stocked with pack and plays and high chairs. This home would also be great for three couples as each bedroom is like a master bedroom. Our host for the week was wonderful and so responsive! If you’ve been thinking about a trip to Virgin Gorda and this place is available jump on it!

Perfect

Truly excellent experience from start to finish. The house itself is remarkable - in design, location, amenities - and is incredibly well maintained and well stocked. The views are possibly the best I’ve ever seen anywhere in the Caribbean, and the architecture of the house capitalizes on them extremely well with folding doors that open the entire living area to the pool and to the beautiful gardens. Extremely private as well - at the tip of a very private road in Crooks Bay, you can’t hear or see any neighbors. There is even privacy within the property, with each bedroom being entirely separate from the others. Extraordinary value for a few couples traveling together. Michelle and the management team were lovely - couldn’t have asked for better service. I had high expectations and they were thoroughly exceeded. Can’t recommend this house strongly enough.

New Year's 2020 at Calypso Villa

The Villa is lovely. Nestled among the bouganveillas, palms and more tropical foliage. There were roosters in the AM, goats in the hills, and butterfly's all-around our 360 degree views of the surrounding hillside. The Villa is very private, all open to the air (if you choose) except for the very private 3 master suites which we kept closed with AC running to eliminate the no see 'ems and to insure great sleep in the bedrooms with shades on the windows. Bedrooms were laid out on different level and different sides of home, so very nice for couples traveling together. Living spaces and kitchen were were very generous. Pool and patio are on the sunny side of the home for all day enjoyment. As the property is on solar, there can be days when the shower water temperatures can be a bit lukewarm. All in all this Villa is Paradise.

We rented this property for a week during New Years. Beautiful house with wonderful views and scenery. (Pictures do not do it justice) Miss waking up to those stunning views! We started our day drinking coffee at the outdoor lounge area while the kids were playing in the pool. Enjoyed the multiple sitting areas the house had. Kitchen and entertainment area were very spacious and beautifully decorated. I do have to mention that it can get windy because of the location of the house. It’s perfect during the day when it’s hot and the wind helps to cool it down. Make sure you carry light sweaters or throws if you are planning on sitting out at nights. It could get quite windy and noisy at nights especially in the upstairs master bedroom. Manager Christi was very helpful. She helped us with any questions we had before and during our trip and even came to pick us up by the marina the day we arrived. She was available at all times to answer any question we had. Location was ideal for us. Very secluded. When you are there you feel all alone and have amazing privacy. Nevertheless, spectacular beaches, grocery stores, restaurants all within 5-7 min drive. We are already making plans to go back to stay at Calypso on our next trip.

Enjoy comforts of home with beautiful views from your private tropical paradise

Wonderful property! Comfortable accommodations for a couple upstairs, with another two bedrooms downstairs for more couples or kids. There is also a washer and dryer downstairs, which means you can pack fewer clothes. Open plan kitchen, living room, outdoor lanai with wonderful swimming pool, beautiful views in every direction. Very quiet other than hearing the occasional dog bark or goat bleep, which contributes to the natural ambience. Christie is very helpful both before your trip and when you arrive. I had high expectations of enjoying this property; they were exceeded!

I always wondered what it was like to live like a celebrity !

You simply cannot find a better combination of luxury accommodations, breath-taking views, amenities, private pool, private beach and close proximity to island adventures and world class restaurants ,big fan of CocoMaya and Mermaids ! I have traveled to many island getaways and resorts over the years and I can honestly say that Calypso Villa has by far been the best vacation I have ever taken. From waking up and having coffee on the open air terrace to laying by the pool at night looking at the amazing show of stars in the sky...every day was perfect in the BVIs. We did not need much from Howard, the property manager, because everything was provided for us in the Villa but when we had a question, Howard was prompt and extremely helpful. The property itself was beyond reproach. Every part was clean and well-maintained and had everything we could possibly need, i.e., towels, beach bags, pool toys, etc. The beach that is below the villa was a highlight of our trip too....we learned that we love to search for the beautiful sea glass found there. My family and I will definitely return to Calypso and we would highly recommend it to any and all of our friends and relatives. This island and Calypso Villa are at the top of my list for a PERFECT vacation spot.

Nicest House I've Ever Stayed In. Period.

Just got home from a weeklong stay at Calypso with two other couples and the depression is already beginning to set in. Thought I'd stave it off by going back to VRBO to relive the experience through the pictures, which don't even begin to do the property justice. You legitimately can't capture the view that this place has with a camera. We had high expectations going in, and Calypso far exceeded all of them. The house was clearly very well thought out, from the layout of the pool/open kitchen/patio which afford absolutely stunning views of Crooks Bay and the Jerusalem Islands, to the finer details like the teak furniture, manual mahogany blinds, and luxurious bedding. There is simply nothing to not rave about. While we loved every minute we spent exploring the breathtaking islands, we equally loved our relaxing time at home where we were comfortably able to lounge, swim, read, grill and catch up with friends. Irma was a great host - she picked us up at the airport with our rental car waiting and even stocked the fridge with beer and water. She made it clear that she was available at anytime to answer any questions or problems, and the one or two times we called her, she answered on the first ring. She even gave us a heads up the night before we left that Sunshine Air (or as the locals call it, "Sometimes Air") had changed our departure time the next morning - we wouldn't have known otherwise. As a side note, yes, the property has scorpions, the same way that our house has spiders - they are tiny, rarely seen and completely harmless. It's Virgin Gorda, scorpions live there. I don't go to Maine and complain about the moose. We'll definitely be going back.

Favorite Place on Earth!

My husband and I have been to Calypso Villa three times and we have brought our teenage son twice. Hands down, it is our most favorite vacation spot in the world! We travel frequently, and Calypso Villa in Virgin Gorda has it all. The accommodations are of utmost quality and comfort. There is nothing like waking up in the morning to cool ocean breezes and the relaxing sounds of waves on the beach. The three bedrooms are nicely situated to provide privacy for each room. The kitchen is equipped for a gourmet cook. The living areas, both inside and outside, are comfortable and have amazing views of the ocean. One of my favorite times of the day is early morning. I loved waking up, making coffee, curling up on a couch in the outside living area, and quietly soaking up the sights and sounds. Of course, our time in and around the island have provided a lifetime of family memories. Some of our favorite activities have been visits to the most beautiful beaches; boating to Jost Van Dyke and swimming from the boat to Soggy Dollar Bar; taking the ferry to Anagada for fresh lobster; hiking through The Baths; and snorkeling in the clear waters of the BVI's. One of our son's favorite memories is the night we turned off all the lights by the pool and and watched the stars and told stories. The property managers, Howard and Irma, were extremely attentive and helpful. Calypso Villa in Virgin Gorda will see our family again in the future!!!

Cheers to the Calypso Villa!

The Calypso Villa is a beautiful property with amazing views of the ocean & property gardens. The pleasant trade winds comforted us during our week long stay. The property was meticulously maintained & catered to all our daily needs. Property managers Howard & Irma organized & planned our Island hoping cruise, it was second to none! Our party of 6 give Calypso Villa the highest ratings and hope to return soon!

Best Vacation Villa in the World

I have had the pleasure to stay at Calypso Villa on three occasions with each providing an incredible time for my family. Howard and Irma were both friendly and attentive on all of my visits providing some great local information on the island. When you walk up to the villa you truly feel like you are on your own island paradise. I can be fairly demanding at times but Howard was always there to take care of all of my questions with a great attitude. The Villa is very family friendly. The Villa was extremely clean and the grounds were so beautiful to look at. My family took advantage of all of the beaches on the island along with day trips to several islands. I would highly recommend this Villa to anyone. It is by far my favorite place to vacation in the world. I am so thankful that I was to find a place to bring my family and friends like Calypso Villa.

Scorpions and poor customer service

The property is lovely with professional gardens and the pool is wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked with all the comforts of home. Fridge was stocked with some supplies. The upper main bedroom has a balcony with great ocean view. This bedroom is air conditioned but the living areas are "open" (no walls but folding doors can be shut.) It was a very hot time of year during our visit and the air conditioner struggled. Asked the manager, Howard, for a fan but no luck. Found scorpions in and right outside the bedroom door each and every day during our stay. The housekeeper was even stung one day while we were there. I contacted Howard about the need for a fan and later about the scorpions but found him mostly unresponsive to issues during our stay. Howard told me the property was sprayed for bugs regularly and did not offer to address the scorpion issue at all. He also said he didn't have a fan available. Prior to arrival Howard was very helpful. However, once we arrived he didn't help with anything. The house and property are lovely although I could only recommend this property only under different manager and better pest control!

All true

All of the praise written by others is absolutely correct. Known as "Calypso," this spot is is absolutely fabulous. My wife and I enjoy cooking and think our kitchen at home is well equipped but this kitchen has even better implements. We were here late in the season but there was no indication of any wear or tear on the cottage. OK, VG is pretty much a third world country as it relates to roads, but everyone has been friendly and kind.

Greatest Time Ever!!

We want to thank you all for the greatest vacation of our lives!! The villa, the weather, the view, the restaurants, the water, the sea glass collected on the beach below, the snorkeling, the great kitchen which allowed us to prepare several great meals, the amentities in the villa, the private beach (TMI), and the help from Howard and Irma was extraordinary, so as to make the overall experience unforgettable. Already looking ahead to go back!!!!! But I must get back to work to pay for our next playtime. Carole and Jim

Great Experience!!

We cant say enough how hospitable the entire stay was! We had a great experience at the Calypso Villa starting with Howard who manages the property assisting us with our travel transport and getting us settled into the house, that was a great touch after a long trip. The house is GORGEOUS as expected, the layout is nearly perfect for families or couples as there is a great entertaining space yet private areas too. THe house is very well appointed with nice amenities, they think of everything (games, toiletries, beach towels, pool toys, nice appliances and cooking utilities). We really appreciate that you felt you were staying with a friend the way it was left for us vs renting a house from scratch and having to buy every single item for the week. It was great to get housecleaning each day and Howard was always easy to reach and very helpful with any questions. Besides the obvious beauty of the house and the views, the owners and property managers really took the time to supply items that made our stay perfect. My only comment to guests is to bring bug spray for that side of the island or area but that is about it!
