Conversión estable cerca de Lulworth Cove / Jurassic Coast

El 'Estable' de una sola planta ha sido restaurado y equipado a un nivel muy alto con énfasis en hacer que su estadía sea lo más cómoda posible. Tiene dos habitaciones dobles (ambas con baño en suite). Un diseño de planta abierta conecta las áreas de cocina, comedor y sala de estar. La propiedad se encuentra dentro de los terrenos de la cabaña de grado 2 de los propietarios y la perspectiva desde todos los aspectos es hacia el jardín, que también es suyo para compartir (y disfrutar de la paz y la tranquilidad) mientras esté aquí. Se suministra mobiliario de jardín, durante los meses de verano. La ropa de cama y las toallas están incluidas y la electricidad / agua están incluidas en el costo. Desafortunadamente, The Stable no es adecuado ni para niños ni para mascotas.
CONEXIÓN WI-FI: Tenga en cuenta que la infraestructura de Internet no es tan buena aquí. Puede ser un poco "impredecible", pero generalmente se puede encontrar en algún lugar del terreno.

A lovely stable conversion in immaculate condition with a very pleasant owner Paul who makes every effort to make your stay enjoyable. All on one level if you dislike stairs and very comfortable beds and armchairs etc. Plenty of safe free parking and the property is inside the owners gated compound so we were happy about leaving valuables behind. The phone signal is weak here and in most of Dorset but free fast wi-fi is provided. The location is ideal if you are interested in: Dorchester, Wareham, Weymouth, Swanage, Lulworth Cove, Durdle door, T. E. Lawrence, Whistler's etched glass, Athelhampton House, The Tank museum, ... and the owner knows which pubs to eat at, quiet beaches, ... We were very happy here and I feel it would be ideal accomodation at any time except the pit of winter.

Excellent cottage with everything on hand and carefully managed - thanks to Paul for being so helpful a host. The location near the coast at Lulworth and handy for Dorchester , Weymouth and Wareham/Swanage suited us and was handy. Visit Hardys birthplace and TE Lawrence chapel at Morton and Clouds Hill. Countryman Inn close by.

Our third stay at this wonderful property and secluded garden.The property is practical and the host available nearby if any problems arise.If you like country walks , you will be in the right spot given the nearby heathland etc ( watch out for the rabbits ). If you like the seaside, not far from Weymouth etc.Lovely pub ( Red Lion ) at the botttom of the road . Other pubs are available !.Monkey World about 10 mins away .

Sunny tranquility

We loved the welcome , friendly and helpful conversation with Paul. Our exploration in sunny weather was rewarding , and the delightful garden was a leafy, tranquil retreat. Best visit ; the Walled Garden. Worst moment; discovering it cost 14 to park the car at Lulworth Cove after the first hour! … And I loved my early morning runs exploring the paths of the Heath.

Lovely

We had a lovely time on our stay in this cosy and beautifully clean property all was as described, and the milk, tea and cookies were a lovely touch. The booking in process was really easy and Paul was a good host. The garden is nicely kept and a paradise if you like birdwatching and the beautiful local surrounding area makes this a wonderful place to stay. We would definately recommend

Tranquil stay in Dorset.

A lovely property and hosts. Excellent accommodation and beautiful garden. Great for visiting Arne, Brownsea Island, Swanage, Wareham and Dorchester. Can't recommend it enough!

Lovely cottage in great location

Very easy booking and checking in process. Cottage very cosy. Lovely garden. Lots to do nearby but location itself very quiet which was lovely. Will definitely go back if we visit Dorset again.

Lovely Property

This is our second stay. We loved the location, very convenient for many places. We visited Lulworth Cove, Bournemouth, Poole, Weymouth, Shaftesbury and Bridport. The accommodation is the perfect place for a week’s getaway.

Lovely peacfull spot by nature reserve.

Cofortable accomodation. Well equiped kitchen. Very friendly and helpful owners. Walk out of the garden staight onto the heathland nature reserve (dartford warblers) Even heard nightjars from the garden.

A real "home from home"

The Stables is in a lovely setting and the accommodation is excellent with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The host is very helpful and friendly. The area nearby is excellent for walking and this part of Dorset is really nice. Highly recommended.

Spot on!

The hosts were friendly, available and helpful with lots of tips on places to visit. The Stables were clean, well equipped and comfortable. We had walks on our doorstep and plenty of interesting places to visit including the world’s only scanners which is a site to behold. We would definitely book again if in the area. Thanks Paul and Rob.

Family holiday stay

We really enjoyed our stay, the accommodation was really well equipped and homely, well kept and with great, welcoming hosts. The Stables was central to all of Dorsets amazing beaches and scenery and for us it made a great holiday. We would definitely recommend and return!

Lovely holiday.

The accommodation was excellent. Well furnished and comfortable. Ideally located in a good position close to Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove and central to the numerous other places of interest. The owner, Paul, was friendly and helpful.

our second visit

We stayed for a week last year and decided that two weeks would provide an opportunity to really explore the surrounding countryside and nearby coast. We returned to this property as it is ideal for this in addition to having itself a lovely garden and environment. The host lives nearby and is extremely helpful and approachable. I cannot recommend too highly this property if you are looking for a nice retreat away from the city. The property has everything you would need. Wool is just down the road and has a large Spa convenience shop and there are numerous pubs/restaurants around. The host will update you as to the " better ones " .

Lovely location, amazing grounds

Although compact, very clean & comfortable. Everything you could possibly need for a wonderful relaxing stay. Beautiful gardens, lots of wildlife to keep us amused. Hedgehogs, squirrels & a wide variety of birds visit the garden at the Stables. Paul , the host made us very welcome , he is a perfect host , very discreet , but available if you need anything . He invited us to look around his private garden , we were really impressed , it is stunning , well cared for , also it's a magnet for a wide variety of wildlife . The Stables is well located for visiting nearby popular attractions , Monkey world , the tank museum , the breathtaking Jurrasic coast & Weymouth are a very short drive away. Lovely walks around the property too. Thank you to Rob & Jones the cat for allowing us to wander around your private space . We would be happy to visit again.

The Stables

Great place to stay for up to 4 people. Lovely ensuite bedrooms, good sitting room with a great telly. Great WiFi, good kitchen. With some lovely local walks. Very near to some excellent historic countryside.

Short but sweet

An especially convenient holiday accommodation for us as it’s all on the same level and my husband and I are in our eighties, well stocked kitchen and all sparkling clean. We’re just sorry our stay was not longer.

Holiday get-away

The property is very attractive - comfortable and nicely arranged. The area is peaceful with an interesting nature reserve with lovely views an enjoyable short walk away. The garden area around the cottage is delightful - lovely spot to relax - read, chat, food and drink if weather allows. It’s a central location for places and areas of interest.
