About this property

Beautiful Dog Friendly First Floor Condo Between Lewes and Rehoboth Beach

Our first floor end unit condo is quiet and relaxing. 2 bedrooms and 2 full sized bathrooms plus a pull out sofa bed with memory foam mattress. There is also a nice screened porch off the dining room. The condo is decorated with owner's artwork which adds a nice personal touch. Close to beaches, restaurants, and shopping. We are 4 miles from Lewes Beach and about 5 miles from Rehoboth Beach.
Bedrooms are at the rear of the property which makes for a nice, quiet, peaceful haven. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and the second bedroom has a queen sized bed. There are flat screened tv's with ROKU in the family room and both bedrooms so guests can enjoy movies and their favorite tv shows on HULU and NETFLIX. High speed internet is also included. There is a Nintendo Wii in the family room with lots of games. Both bedrooms have a walk in closet. The "OnSuite" master bath has double sinks for added comfort and convenience. We take pride in offering a beautiful environment which feels like home, not like a typical "rental unit." The pool is lovely and relaxing. We really enjoy it after a day at the beach.

We also like to make sure our guests have everything they need from spices for cooking to steak knives and wine glasses. We added this second property because our other property was so well received and full of guests that we didn't have an opportunity to stay ourselves.

We had a lovely stay, as always. Condo is very inviting and welcoming. Great location, close to everything, but tucked away from traffic noise, and very cozy. Great Beach Getaway

Barb & Barry’s place is a lovely beach hideout. It’s perfectly located between our favorite beaches, Cape Henlopen and Rehoboth, has a lovely pool when the beach flies bite, and has plenty of space for a family of three. Great spot. Would totally book again!

The condo is beautiful, clean and well taken care of. The owners provide many extras not typically found in most places we have stayed like paper products, sheets, towels, bathroom products and all sorts of things in the kitchen. The location is perfect for shopping, restaurants, the beach and biking trails. Welcoming our pet to stay with us in the condo means so much to us. I can’t think of a better place to stay. Everything was even better than the listing! Tasteful decorations and lots of drawers, counters, cupboards and closet spaces available to put your things. Very dog friendly, non slip bowls provided. The pool is right across the street.Accessible entrance ramp and walk-in shower make it easy for those with bad knees.The owner was super responsive when an issue arose.The neighborhood is walkable, but a car is mandatory since the only way in and out is onto a 4 lane highway.

My husband and I are from Lancaster County PA. We have four children between the two of us. We enjoy bringing our 2 Labradors on vacation with us. We had been visiting the Lewes/Rehoboth area as campers for several years and loved the area so much that we decided to purchase our own place. That was when we purchased our first condo. There was such a great demand for a nice, clean, affordable pet friendly rental that we were constantly booked and had a hard time carving out time for us to visit. So, we decided to take the chance and purchase an additional property in the same neighborhood. We are so glad we did. We love our second condo as much as our first one and love sharing it with others!

Why they chose this property

We chose this property because it has such a great location! The neighborhood is quiet and everyone is friendly. Many walk their dogs around. There are several nice ponds and two stations which provide dog waste bags.

Other than loving the neighborhood setting, we chose this property because because of it's proximity to our other property in the same complex. Please read our reviews on VRBO #804562. Both have the same layout and amenities.

Because we have two in Bay Crossing, it might work well for larger groups to rent both at the same time.

What makes this property unique

We supply quality sheets. The beds are made when the guests arrive which is very convenient and pleasant. We have a wonderful maid who does an excellent job of cleaning the condo and making the beds for each new set of vacationers. There are beach chairs and a beach umbrella in the outside closet as well as a cooler to take to the beach. Our kitchen is very well stocked with lots of plates, silverware, cooking utensils and pots and pans. We also have a crockpot, both Keurig and regular coffee makers, toaster, blender, etc..... There is a brand new stainless steel dishwasher in the kitchen as well, Water pressure in the shower is great and the hot water heater s also new! We have done everything we can think of to make this a home.
