Barbara met us at the rental and was very friendly and welcoming. She recommended some restaurants and markets for us to visit. The towels and bed linens were fluffy and soft. The water pressure and the temperatures were excellent. We could’ve used instructions on how to use the shower’s faucet. We had trouble turning the water off. It has a faucet that as Americans we were not familiar with.We finally figured it out but felt bad about the water we wasted. All in all, we loved the location, amenities and the city of Bruge.

Perfectly located, this is a comfortable, beautiful flat. We enjoyed our stay immensely, and found Barbara waiting for us to show us around. She is very kind and always responded very quickly to my emails and questions. If you have children or aren’t as mobile as you used to be, please be aware that the stairs to the first floor are very steep and the treads are very small. We would stay there again and look forward to our next visit!

This property is by far the most beautifully designed and presented property I have experienced while traveling. Barbara has a eye for detail and exquisite taste and is a gracious and kind hostess. From the delicious homemade raspberry jam to the bottles of water to the elegant flatware , the property makes you feel at home. The location is extremely convenient to visiting beautiful historic Brugge. I recommend this with hesitation.

Wie haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Lage ist top, man ist nach ein paar Schritten im Trouble der Altstadt, das Viertel selbst ist eher ruhig.Die Wohnung ist richtig schön eingerichtet, da war jemand mit einem guten Händchen und Stil am Werk. Die Gastgeber sind auch sehr freundlich und äußerst zuvorkommen

Das "Charmante Haus aus dem 19. Jahrhundert" ist tatsächlich ein charmantes Haus, das genau den Fotos auf der Webseite entspricht. Es ist sauber, hat zwei einzelne Schlafzimmer und befindet sich mitten in der Altstadt - liegt aber trotzdem ruhig. Alle Geschäfte sind in unmittelbarer Nähe; zum Bahnhof benötigt man ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Der Kontakt zu der Vermieterin war sehr, sehr nett. Meine Mitreisende und ich haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein DANKE an die Gastgeberin.

Very comfortable, cosy, well appointed stay in a quiet, historic area of old Brugge. Close to high street shopping and supermarket. Beautiful private courtyard at the rear of the property. A beautiful bunch of roses to enjoy. Spacious, sunny, beautiful bathroom with a big bath and great shower.

The location is excellent, quiet but close to everything. Barbara is communicative, helpful and friendly. The house is impeccably decorated with all the comforts. We’re only sorry we didn’t stay in Bruges longer, in part because the accommodation was perfect for us.

Wat een prachtig verblijf! Het huisje is met veel liefde en oog voor detail ingericht, helemaal in stijl. Alles was keurig in orde: netjes, schoon en verzorgd. De ligging is ideaal, midden in het hart van Brugge – je wandelt zo de stad in. Parkeren kon gemakkelijk iets verderop bij het station. De gastheer ontving ons heel vriendelijk, nam de tijd om het huisje te laten zien en gaf fijne tips over wat er in Brugge allemaal te doen is. Echt een heel prettig verblijf, zeker een aanrader!

I have been going to Bruges since 1990 and, for the first time, I stayed in a house. And what a house! A GREAT location, everything thought of and provided. Really, really cosy and comfortable.Despite being so close to the centre, it is extremely quiet. There were three of us and it always felt that there was sufficient space.I have rarely been to a better property.(N.B. You have to park elsewhere, but the Station car park is cheap and accessible in 10 minutes on foot, and you can take the bus for free.)

Great house in a great location

Check in was easy and Barbara was flexible as our trip had to change. We used the house as a base to explore Bruges and easy to walk everywhere including the railway station. Loads of places to eat locally. Our only issue was the building work next door as they started early but that’s not the hosts fault and it won’t be for long. House was clean and tidy, beds comfortable. Would stay here again. Great communication with host

This townhouse was extraordinary in every way: it was perfectly located for walking throughout Brugge; it was gorgeously furnished; our elegant host, Barbara, met us at the front door an gave us a tour of the property, which includes a delightful little private patio off the kitchen for breakfasts and snacks; beautiful tub/shower upstairs an downstairs loo - everything a pair of travelling old friends might require!Thank you, Barbara,for making our trip to Brugge particularly lovely!!Denise & Shelley

Beautiful Bruges

We loved Bruges and Axelle’s house was just perfect. It was very well located, easy walking distance from everything. The house was very clean, charming and beautifully decorated.The owners were very welcoming and gave helpful suggestions about restaurants and events. Could not have been better!
