Not as pictured
First of all, they gave us the wrong phone number for the contact person, so they didn’t know when we would be at the house, since non of our calls was answered, or messages replied to. We arrive at the house, and had to wait for the substitute contact person to come at show us the keys.
This wasn’t a good first impression..
Second of all, the pool was useless! since it hadn’t been cleaned for weeks or maybe months? The water was dirty, dark, and full of algae, with stuff and bits floating around all over. We tried to clean it, and even tried turning on the pump and cleaning systems, but it was useless.
Third and final, the house was nice and located with a wonderful view! We loved the sunsets, and enjoying the peace and tranquility of the area. The garden is big and lovely to walk around in, which we enjoyed as well. The house is an old cottage, renovated maybe some decades ago, but still pleasant to stay in. It has charm and attitude. House was lovely. Just mind the geckos, and their belongings, they might drop down your bed, along the day or night.
It's an experience. I would have given it more stars if only the pool had been clean and working. It's a shame, since we picked the house because of the great looking pool, from the pictures..
