Please disclose # of guests when booking. Nightly Rate is for 4 guests, $5 per night/guest 5-7th guest, extra guest fee is charged for length of reservation. Maximum Occupants - 7 (6 adults) including all age children.
We are an Amazing Lake & Mountain view community. We do not have lake access. We do not have a Hot Tub. NO Smoking/Vaping in Cottage/Porches/Patios, NO pets/animals or visiting pets/animals permitted on property, NO exceptions. No Smoking, NO trailers or anything in tow.
Short Rental Agreement sent from owner. Photo ID required.
Dock slips shown in pictures and trailer storage are approx. 1 mile from cottages & reserved separate from this agreement. No swimming/fishing off community docks/dock area. Checkin Time is 4pm.
We strongly advise purchasing Travel insurance that is offered during checkout. Contact VRBO with any questions regarding the policy. We strictly adhere to our cancellation policies. 100% refund if canceled 30 days before arrival date. 50% refund if canceled 14 days before arrival date. Late checkin/early checkout are nonrefundable. Any adjustments will fall under same refund policies. $25 charge for no-shows.
Holiday Cancellation Policy; Reservations including; New Years Eve/Day, Memorial Day Weekend, July 4th, Labor Day Weekend, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve/Day. Cancellations 30 days before arrival date will receive 100% refund. Cancellations after that point are nonrefundable.

Nestled in the mountains of western North Carolina, Overlooking Lake Chatuge. A quiet, relaxing place you'll long remember as the perfect get-away. Our Country Cottages have been a long time vacation destination for those wishing to get away from it all. Grandview Getaway has two Master Suites and two living rooms. The Cottage comes with fully equipped kitchens, dishes, cookware, utensils and small appliances. Our Stainless steel appliance package includes a Glass top range, Microwave, Dishwasher, Refrigerator and propane grill. Washer/dryer. Fireplace with Remote Gas Logs (oct-march). 43" Smart HDTV in living room, DVD, Free Parking, Free WiFi and Free Premium Channels. All quality linens and towels provided. Central Air and Heat for year round comfort.

Lake Chatuge where Georgia meets North Carolina. 130 miles of shoreline, provides an excellent fishing, swimming, boating and water sports playground. Hike the many area trails, enjoy scenic drives, and relax near beautiful waterfalls. The nearby Ocoee and Nantahala Rivers offer kayaking and whitewater rafting adventures. Ride horses and mine for gems. Several area courses offer golfing and tennis.
Visit the crafts fairs, shop for antiques, browse the flea markets, and enjoy the area festivals, including the Georgia Mountain Fair and Oktoberfest. Ride the Great Smokey Mountain Railroad. Visit the world-famous Smokey Mountain National Park. Enjoy the Cherokee Indian Museum and Oconaluftee Indian Village. Try your luck at the Reservation Casino. Take a class, or visit, the John C. Campbell Folk School. Visit Brasstown Bald, the highest point in Georgia or - just site back and enjoy the cool breezes and relaxing atmosphere.

Wonderful cottage on the lake

Great view in a comfortable cabin

Love staying in theses cabins. Close to Hayesville and Hiawassee and just far enough to feel out of town. Beautiful sunset view off the porch overlooking the lake. Wonderfully clean and comfortable.

Hiawassie music festival

Enjoyed the accomadations. Very clean and comfortable. The only complaint we have was the TV down stairs didn't work. This was our second time staying there.

A happy place

This is our cabin of choice when visiting the area. We have never been disappointed. The location is perfect and allows easy access to area activities. The lake and mountain view from the deck is beautiful.

10 days just wasn’t enough

I booked this place for a quiet getaway to recharge. The home was clean, well supplied, check in and check out were seamless. The lake and mountain backdrop serve as an amazing view. Convenient to Helen, Franklin, Clayton and Cherokee for a quick outing. Once you visit you won’t want to leave!

Cute cabin!

The cabin was great. Clean and set up cute. Needs more silverware and some cooking pots/pans and the towels need to be replaced. The cabin is well maintained inside and out. Loved the deck with the view of the lake. Would rent again.

Very clean, well decorated. Responsive owner. Only negative was deck could have been a little cleaner and updated furniture and there were many spiders and webs. Grill was extremely dirty, therefore we didn't use it.

Perfect

Nice little getaway. Was pleasantly surprised to see that we had a lake view from the back porch!… and a good sized grassy yard. Wouldn’t have known that from the photos on the listing. I took my 10 year old daughter, her cousin, and friend on a mini vacation. The lower level had the room with two beds,a bathroom with a bathtub/shower, a living room and a dining area. The girls loved it! They felt like the had their own apartment. The upstairs also had the master bedroom, bath (shower only, no bath tub) kitchen and livingroom. It was a 15 min drive to the local beach area that was nice. We also went to the inflatable water park that was 15 min away as well. It was a nice trip. We enjoyed the quiet area the cabin was in.

Surprisingly spacious and wonderful cabin.

I had a wonderful time at this surprisingly spacious and extremely comfortable cabin. Love you as beautiful as always, especially at sunset. Just the right distance from town to feel comfortably away, but also easily accessible to anywhere I want to be.

Perfect Getaway with a Great View

We had a fun and comfortable stay. The cabin was better than described. It had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the view from the back porch was amazing, especially at sunset.

Perfect location with an amazing view!

This cottage far exceeded my expectations. The pictures don’t do it justice. It was very clean with plenty of room. It’s within 15 minutes of the Hiawassee Fairgrounds where we were going for a concert. The amazing view of the lake was icing on the cake. Will definitely stay here again if we’re in the area.
