The house has been totally renovated and decorated with brand new furniture. Located in a quiet rural hamlet with stunning mountain views. A perfect retreat for home office working. Spacious living room with twin sofas and dining table, good internet connection. Very well equipped modern kitchen. One double bedroom with comfortable 160 x 200 cm bed, and second twin bedroom with two singles 100 x 200 cm, and possibility of adding a third single bed. Fenced garden with terrace at the rear. 360° views on the beautiful mountains of the Mont Charvin, Dent de Cons and la Tournette. Balcony in the front of the house under the vines. We welcome dogs!

One of the best homes we rented for vacation. Everything clean, working and lovely furnished. Great view from the breakfast garden place. Friendly and warm hosts. We had a great time, thanks for that

Lovely location and home.

We loved our stay here. It was perfect for us with easy access to the cycle path and a fab bakery at the bottom of the hill. The house was spotless and we loved sitting out on a morning and evening with the mintsin views. John and Mariella were on hand had we needed them but everything was perfect so hardly saw them. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic flat in a great location with great hosts

My first thought was that the pictures in the add do not even come close to showing how lovely the flat and garden are. The flat was spotless, had everything you can possible need and the host had even started the fire for us when we arrived. John was always available for any advice we needed during our stay. We were able to easily locate local shops, a vet for the dog and rubbish disposal. Would love to stay here again one day!

Highly recommended

Just returned from a wonderful week in this beautiful part of France. John and Mariella's house was beyond expectations, it's warm, cosy, comfortable, quiet but near all the 'attractions'. A house where both the kids as ourselves felt at home immediately. We had the "problem" that snow and sun conditions made us want to go skiing everyday (espace Diamand area), so we didn't see much of the other cities like Annecy, but we hope to come back for that!

Marvelous Experience

You wake up in the morning and enjoy your coffee looking at gorgeous mountains and listening to the birds sing. This property is in a quiet little quaint town where you can relax and forget the stresses of life. The hosts live across the street and are ready and willing to help in every way be it directions, hiking advice or supplying a magnifying glass so that we can read fine print! This is our third visit to this cottage, and I can't imagine a better place to spend a holiday. It is my little piece of heaven on earth.

Einfach wunderbar!

Bereits zum 3. Mal durften wir unseren Urlaub bei Mariella und John verbringen. Wie immer war alles einfach top! Wer eine saubere, perfekt eingerichtete und sehr großzügig geschnittene Urlaubsunterkunft sucht und auch seinen Hund mitbringen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!!

John was a great host and the house was superb. Great views from the kitchen and garden. The village was quiet but there are two restaurants and a great bakery within walking distance

We did it again!

Auch unser zweiter Aufenthalt im wunderbaren Ferienhaus von Mariella und John war einfach nur toll! Das Haus verfügt über jeglichen Komfort, den man sich für einen unkomplizierten Sommerurlaub nur wünschen kann. Wir haben viele Wanderungen bei herrlichem Wetter unternommen und auch unser großer Hund war sehr willkommen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Excellente location au Val de chaise !

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette location. La maison est fonctionnelle. Vous y passerez des nuits très agrèables car il n'y aucun bruit environnant. Mr Smith est une personne très sympathique, disponible. A conseiller ! Thank you Mr Smith !

John et Mariella sont de supers hôtes, très accueillants et disponibles. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans la région. La maison est propre, confortable et très bien équipée. Tout le mobilier et la literie sont de qualité. On recommande sans hésiter.

Perfect!

First off, Mariella and John are fabulous hosts who are committed to you having a fabulous experience. The house itself is very comfortable and has everything you need, from great wifi to that kitchen gadget. Lots of windows that open and light inside when the weather is nice, but cozy in the rain. Lots of outdoor sitting/dining areas also. The quiet village setting creates this wonderful ambience and there are a number of fantastic walks you can do right from your front door that give you great mountain views. Or walk to the great village bakery. We are repeat visitors for many reasons!

Traumurlaub

Hier stimmte einfach alles! Das Haus ist in jeder Hinsicht einfach traumhaft. Top ausgestattet, super sauber und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Der Garten mit Terrasse lädt großartig zum Entspannen ein. Auch unser großer Hund war sehr willkommen. Mariella und John sind unkomplizierte, herzliche Gastgeber, die uns bei Fragen sehr nett weitergeholfen haben. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!!

Maison très propre et fonctionnelle. Propriétaire charmant et serviable. Bien placé.

Très agréable séjour dans ce hameau a la campagne, bien placé permettant d accéder facilement au lac, aux stations, a la sambuy, au col de la Forclaz, au val de tamie et aux plages. Le propriétaire est disponible et accueillant. Nous avons passe de très bonnes vacances. A recommander.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’accueil chaleureux des propriétaires. Le gîte est conforme à la description et aux photos: propre, bien équipé, cosy et bien situé pour découvrir la région entre lac et montagnes. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille.

Very pleasant escape

The setting of this house is amazing. In a hamlet, you can walk out the front door and go for a hike up the mountain. The air is fresh and clean. There is no noise. The house is a good size for 2 to 4 people (2 bedrooms). The owners live across the street, and are extremely attentive and respectful of space. Highly recommended.

Pas d'autre mot, tout était parfait. Merci à John et Mariella pour leur accueil chaleureux, leurs bons conseils et leur gentillesse. Superbe gîte, parfaitement équipé, cocoon et idéalement placé, à proximité de nombreux départs de randonnée. A découvrir sans hésiter !

Tout simplement parfait

Nous n’avons non seulement eu l’occasion de passer à nous quatre et notre chien un super séjour dans une maison confortable, agréable et cosy située dans une région magnifique, mais aussi de faire connaissance avec les propriétaires, un couple sympathique, amical et accueillant. fijne vakantie in de franse alpen

Onze gehuurde woning was tip top in orde! Voorzien van alle comfort! Aan alles was gedacht! Met een fijne ontvangst door de eigenaar en met een goede uitleg bij de rondleiding in het huis en toebehoren. Wanneer de avonden wat frisser werden kregen we een goede uitleg over de verwarming. Het tuintje was leuk voor onze hond. Helemaal omheind zodat hij niet weg kon. het huis ligt in een rustige buurt. Blijkbaar is er na het maken van de foto's een beetje van het huis verwijderd een nieuw huis gezet waardoor het uitzicht wel enigszins veranderd is. Wij gingen alle dagen op uitstap waardoor we er weinig last van gehad hebben. Er zijn enorm veel mogelijkheden in de omgeving. We hadden een heel fijn verblijf in Ombre Dessous. Een dikke pluim voor de eigenaren! Bedankt voor de mogelijkheid van dit fijn verblijf!
