This apartment is a pleasant walk to Frankfort’s beautiful sandy beach, pier and lighthouse. On the way you’ll pass our (almost) world famous brewpub and several delicious restaurants, coffee shops and shopping, or you can stroll to the beach down Frankfort's old, tree lined Forest Avenue. On Saturdays you can catch our farmers market just down the block . Right across the street you can pick up the bike trail which will take you into Frankfort, around the bay to Elberta (where you will find several more fun restaurants and pubs), or all the way to Crystal Lake, Beulah and beyond!
You will be sharing the building with a Naturopathic office (call ahead if you’d like some acupuncture) and three units occupied by permanent residents. Please remember they are not on vacation and be courteous of your sound level.
This apartment is equipped with a comfortable queen bed, full kitchen equipped with everything needed to cook a nice meal, wifi, and beach gear (cooler, towels, umbrella). It is tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable.
For those interested in something extra, we can offer a unique opportunity:
Scott is a licensed fishing guide and can offer half or full day fishing trips. If you’ve always wanted to try fly-fishing, or if you are a seasoned fisherman/woman that would like to learn some great local spots, we can provide a personalized experience on the river. We have gear if needed. Scott has also done a number of eco-tours to get up close with the local flora and fauna, bring your camera!
The owner Chris is very easy to get ahold of if you have any questions. Location was great and it was perfect for the 3 of us. Quiet surroundings and close to anything we wanted.
Easy walking to shops and restaurants, this cosy little apartment sits right on the edge of the business district. The walking/biking trail starts steps from the door as is the water and there are plenty of places to rent bikes or boats. Whichever is your pleasure. The apartment is advertised as "sleeps 4" which may be technically true but would be too small to accommodate 4 people comfortably, in my opinion. 1 or 2 work fine. Bathroom and kitchen are both very small but provide all the basics.
Very clean!! We could walk to town for our morning coffee and breakfast. Would definitely recommend it.
Nice little apartment. Convenient to the shops and restaurants and the beach in Frankfort. The place was clean and confortable. It was nice to have the Futon in the living room since we had two small children, but the matress for the futon was not very comfortable. Chris, the owner was very helpful.
