With the famous Mendip Hills as a backdrop, this home has a large wraparound deck, LED starlight courtyard and an indulgent jacuzzi hot tub.
Chic furnishings and state of the art modern conveniences can be found throughout, with the open plan design of the lodge creating a bright and contemporary space to completely unwind in. At its heart you will discover a sophisticated kitchen, complete with everything you would need to whip up a few delicious home cooked meals in.
A holiday would not be complete without the most comfortable of sleeping so Deer Leap has a master bedroom that is fit for royalty. A wonderful super king size bed is complimented by a large en-suite bathroom with a free-standing bath, glass shower cubicle and doors that lead out on to the private terrace.

Highly recommended

Lovely lodge in a great location, 5 minute drive to cheddar gorge in one direction and 15 minutes drive to wells in the other direction. The lodge and hot tub were great.

Deer leap lodge

Beautiful luxury lodge, very modern and clean. Hot tub was amazing. We ate at the cider barn had pizza very nice and the cider was a hit with the hubs. Overall we had a very relaxing time Will definitely be returning.

What a relaxing stay

Me and my fiancé had the most relaxing stay ever . We would both definitely stay in that lodge again. I have recommended strawberry field to my family . Worth the money

Really lovely stay! Would recommend to anyone

We stayed in the dear leap lodge for a long weekend and had a fab time! The lodge was beautiful and had everything you would need. The hot tub was also lovely and we really enjoyed using it in the cold evenings! The welcome folder has loads of useful information such as places to visit and bars and restaurants which was really helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay we would love to stay here again and have already recommended it to family and friends especially as my family have dogs!

Deer Leap

Loved everything except out door seats and sun beds very uncomfortable because wood with no pillows. Very impressed with hot tub being maintained every day and good temperature and vey clean . Loved bed very comfortable and clean sheets and loved bathroom very high standard. Hope to book to come again dry soon.

Deer Leap is a fabulous lodge in a lovely setting and really quite private. Spotlessly clean and smelled lovely on entering. We loved the hot tub and the bathroom door leading directly to it outside. The twinkly lights over the covered seating area outside were so pretty at night. The huge bed was super-comfy, we slept very well. Could have done with some kind of clothes storage in the dressing room as there was only hanging space so we were living out of our bags on the floor. Also could have done with a little more crockery and cutlery etc. It all ended up in the dishwasher (which wasn’t really full enough to put on) but we’d run out so had to wash cups etc to use again! The Cider Barn (a stone’s throw away) had live music Saturday and Sunday nights but wasn’t on too late thankfully. Overall a lovely holiday.

Amazing, beautiful and comfortable

Deer Leap is a beautiful place to stay. Very stylish, clean and comfortable. We were very kindly left a bottle of milk, a bottle of wine and some biscuits on our welcome. The whole place is nicely spacious with lots of amenities. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer. Dish cleaning products are provided as well as towels and super soft dressing gowns. The decor is beautiful and the hot tub a great addition. Handy to have access to the bathroom from the hot tub. The apple orchard a short walk away and a field next door were perfect to walk the dog. The Cider Barn again in walking distance serve the most delicious pizzas and cider and provide a takeaway service which was handy, and they are very dog friendly too. Cheddar was only a 5 minute drive away with lovely walks, views and restaurants.
