Tämä ylellinen, uusi hiihtotalo sijaitsee halutulla 'West Hill' -alueella, joka sijaitsee Okemon vuorella lähellä hiihtotunnelia Sachemin hiihtoreitillä. Tämä uusi 3 makuuhuoneen ja 2 kylpyhuonetta sopii erinomaisesti ryhmälle, joka haluaa olla kävelyetäisyydellä rinteistä (suksikoti, jos tiellä on lunta). Nauti tilavasta kannasta, jossa on 8 hengen ulkokylpytynnyri näköalalla luonnonkauniille purolle ja metsään. Talo on upouusi rakennus, mukautetut viimeistelyt kaikkialla. Lyhyt kävelymatka tai hiihto takaisin taloon. Golf, järvet, luistelu, melonta, melonta, zip-linja, vuoristorata, Okemon seikkailupuisto ja ostosmahdollisuudet ovat kaikki lähellä. Keväällä / kesällä / syksyllä voi vuokrata 5 makuuhuoneen kodina. Talvikuukausina se vuokrataan vain kolmen makuuhuoneena, koska omistaja käyttää loput talon osasta täysin erilliset sisäänkäynnit.

Olen vuokrannut kiinteistöjäni 20 vuodeksi ja filosofiani on aina ollut: 1-sijainti rinteiden lähellä, 2-ylellisyyttä / räätälöityjä kalusteita, jotka pidetään moitteettomina ja 3-hinnoiteltuja markkinahintojen alapuolella. Tämä on tuonut takaisin noin 70% vuokralaisista toisen tai kolmannen kerran, mikä vähentää päänsärkyni ja tekee kokemuksesta miellyttävämmän ja tyydyttävämmän kaikille. Ajattele lunta !!!! mikrofoni

Fall get away

Property was in a nice location with easy access to hiking & town. The description in the listing implies the property is the full "home" but is actually the lower level, with a separate entrance. Overall good experience but not entirely what we expected from the listing. This was a last minute booking so partially my fault for not reading the reviews.

Great, flexible , responsive host . Recently redone apartment that is very comfortable and has high end amenities....bowl sinks, granite counters , cool decor. Note that the apartment is the first / basement floor of the house pictures and the walk to Satchem is about 100 yards. Would stay again .

Everything you could want and more!

Perfect getaway for any group of family or friends looking to ski or just enjoy Ludlow! I went with a group of 8 people and had an amazing trip. The house has an open concept so that whether you are eating at the dining table, watching a movie, or playing pool you are always still together as a group, which creates the best atmosphere. Also loved the rustic-modern design that gave the house a nice cabin feel while still being a spacious luxury home. I was a little concerned about a comment that described it as a "basement." However, I listened to another commenter who said it was just the first floor and rented anyway - and I am so glad I did! "Basement" is nowhere near an accurate description as the ceilings are very high and there are many windows and a sliding glass door overlooking a ravine with a lovely stream. We skied both days that we were there, and it was very simple to get there - just a short walk down the road from the house and you run right into Sachem trail and are able to just ski down. There was even enough snow on the road when we went home that we could ski the short distance back. The flatscreen TV, pool table, and hot tub were all great for relaxing when we got back as well. We fit all 8 of us in the hot tub! All in all we had no complaints whatsoever of the house or its location, and Mike was very helpful and accommodating with anything that we needed or asked for. I would recommend this house to everyone, and I can't wait to come back this ski season and many more ski seasons to come!

Amazing Vermont getaway!

I'm a graduate student who spends a majority of her time indoors, so being able to experience Mike's home was a well needed break from my studies. His property is located conveniently right by ski slopes, and while there is no snow at the moment, there is plenty to do- mountain biking, hiking and relaxation being some of the things I did. The basement area where I stayed was very cozy and I felt very at home, All the amenities were present and I have no complaints whatsoever. If you enjoy nice scenery and fresh air, his balcony is a must! It overlooks a ravine with a stream at the bottom. With the warm sun and clean air, I really was able to relax. His house is also very close to the main road, which runs by gas stations and shopping centers (with great food), in the instance where you do not want to cook your own food. Mike himself is also very communicative and generous as a host. If you are looking for a quiet and chill getaway, definitely consider this location!! cannot praise this place enough!

Perfect Getaway Weekend

Stayed here over a long weekend with a bunch of friends and had the best time! It was NOT in a basement- it was the ground floor and the ceilings were high. Mike and his family are super nice and accommodating. The place was in mint condition and the beds were super comfortable. Our favorite part was the hot tub outside on the deck with gorgeous views. Will be back!

Fantastic dream getaway!

I can’t imagine having a better experience than this beautiful home. It was everything it was advertised to be and more. The owner Michael was very responsive and gave us all kinds of advise for our group to enjoy Ludlow and the surrounding VT mountains. I would not hesitate to come back. The kitchen has everything you need and the large screen tv and fireplace will make you drag yourself to go out for dinner. Can’t miss renting this home.

Perfect Ski Getaway!

Short walk to slopes, skied back to house. Super comfortable and perfect “country lodge feel” for large group. It was better than the online pictures and write up describe. Was initially concerned about prior review saying it was in basement. Yes, it is the first floor but with great room having high ceilings and huge sliding glass doors to hot tub deck, so I wouldn’t say it was the basement. Hot tub was great as we were overlooking stream which was intense with the spring snow melting. Will be back next year!!!

Exactly what you're looking for!

House pictures didn't do this property justice! The second I walked in the door I was surprised. Large mud room stored ski's, boots, coats and bags of 6 guys with room still to sit and gear up. Open floor plan was great for entertaining. Whether you were grubbing out, playing pool or just throwing your legs up for a movie... You were still in the loop of what was going on. Two full bathrooms we're nicely done. The rustic touch throughout the home was a nice feature. Modern appointments gave that feeling of old meets new. The short walk to the trail and lifts was ideal. We could duck in and out to grab a drink and a bite. We made accommodations for Friday night thru Sunday. We arrived early to ski Friday and go to the house after. The owner was gracious in opening the house to us the morning we arrived. With all these considerations I'd urge anyone to put this home at the top of their list! I sure am!

Nice, but not "it"

Fourth year and fourth condo at Okemo for our annual NE Ski trip. So, this one is just is OK. Daughter cut her face walking to the trail (I asked several times if it was flat - it is not and we ended up just having dad drive us to the "drop". That sucked. The reality is this is a place suited for experienced adult skiers. You will be staying in the basement. Pool table without a rack and one 2' functional cue. Cable TV? Nope. I signed ya'll into a verizon thing so enjoy what you can and we tried to fix one of the pool sticks. Good luck. Bunk beds in every room? Check! Five of us slept like crap for our trip. The water pressure is garbage. It's a nice place, but it's not the right place is all I can say.

what a GREAT getaway with my family!

I want to start by saying I was very hesitate with booking this rental due to the very negative review that is below mine. In no way is this rental a false advertisement! My stay here with my family, couldn't of been more perfect! you rent the first level of the home, (you are NOT IN A BASEMENT) the decor is very rustic, and gives you a log cabin feel, there are three bedrooms and 2 baths, the bedrooms all have these awesome wooden log bunk beds! the house did not smell like fumes, it smelled like a fire, there is a fire place in the living room. We did have trouble lighting the fire place, the logs were a little wet, I told the owner Mike about this, and he went out and bought fire starters to help us out, and even offered to refund us for the firewood, but felt no need for that. Mike let us check in earlier then the scheduled time, and let us check out anytime we wanted! We had no problem with parking, we had the whole left drive way to use, it did become a bit icy at times, but what can you expect when its snowing and failing for days. My father even spoke to the women upstairs, and she let us park our second car on the right side of the house no problem! Some of the bedrooms did get a little colder at night time, but the house has closets of extra blankets to use! We enjoyed the hot tub every night we stayed, we cooked in the kitchen every morning, and dinner the last night staying there. Having a dryer was a plus. we were able to dry all our ski clothes. The mudroom/ski room was also great! We were able to get dressed, and have a place for all our equipment. My family and I would definitely stay here again, the house is beautiful!

False advertisement

I will start off by saying the the owner was extremely nice and very responsive. On the other hand the women that lives in the house you see in the picture was very upset and rude to us over a parking space. The picture you see in this rental advertisement is not where you will be staying. You will be renting a very expensive basement apartment. It is nicely redone but is very cold and fuses blew pretty regularly. I also thought it was interesting that we were only left half a roll of paper towels and two and half rolls of toilet paper for six adults and three kids. Bedrooms were very small with terrible Mattresses which is clearly why they were not show in any pictures. I find it very surprising that this rental got as many five star reviews as it did. This was a far cry from the reviews and the advertisement.

Fantastic stay!

Our families had a absolutely fantastic stay at the house. Very convenient to the slopes. Easy walk to the Sachem trail, and we were able to ski back with the fresh snow. Great entry way full of storage space for all the equipment and benches to sit on. The living area is well planned out for a big group to sit around the fireplace and play games and hang out in general. The hot tub was a perfect way to relax after the slopes. The kitchen was fully stocked to prepare several great dinners. Mike was very easy going and quick to answer with any questions. We forgot a extension cord for our fondue and he quickly ran one down to us. It was truly a great trip. Would highly recommend the rental to anyone considering it and we are hoping to stay again sometime in the future.

We love this place!

This is our second year staying in one of Mike's houses, and we can not say enough good things about our experience. Beautiful, clean, and many thoughtful touches -- we loved the pool table and fireplace. Mike is great -- even pulled our car out of the snowy ditch that I put it into, and helped start cars more than once! A wonderful place to feel cozy, host friends and family, and enjoy the scenery.

Absolutely Gorgeous!

This house is by far the most beautifully designed and decorated house that my family has ever rented. The back deck offers such a serene setting where you can hear the running brook down below. The kitchen is very well stocked so we cooked our dinners in and went to the local restaurants for lunch. The fantastic weather allowed us to enjoy the Okemo Adventure Zone and nearby Buttermilk Falls. The owners were a pleasure to deal with and we plan on returning soon.

Wonderful Getaway!

My family had a fantastic weekend in this house over this past Columbus Day weekend. The kids loved playing by the stream and in the yard. We especially enjoyed the very close proximity to the slopes that we hiked on to have a picnic lunch. Soaking in the hot tub under the stars and sitting by the indoor fireplace was extremely relaxing. Visiting Bromley's outdoor adventure park was also very fun and a short ride away. For a wonderful escape with beautiful surroundings and helpful owners, I recommend this property!

LOVED IT

Thanks for renting your amazing house to us. The location couldn't have been better. My boys loved hearing the stream in the backyard,visiting the waterfalls and many long nature walks in the woods.I loved shopping in the surrounding old time towns.My family enjoyed everything that Okemo has to offer. The owner was very easy to work with and the house was very well maintained. We will be back to this house or maybe have a family reunion at your other fabulous luxury house.

House was everything we needed. My family and my sisters had a great time. And this is our second visit. Walking to the slopes was enjoyable again, Kids sleigh rided down the Sachem trail at night as the four parents soaked in the hot tub.

This property is one of two rental houses on Okemo mountain built and owned by myself; not a rental company. Some of the features of these two ski properties is convenience to the slopes, large hot tubs, immaculate interiors with custom finished and furnishings. Additional amenities in my Okemo Ski homes include fireplaces, hot tub and fully equipped kitchens and everything else you would want in a Okemo ski house.

Both houses are on Okemo mountain and are truly the best Okemo ski house value versus other mountain rentals. I have rented my properties for 20 years and my philosophy has always been: 1-location near the slopes, 2-custom finishes/furnishings that are kept immaculate and 3- priced below market rates. This has brought back about 70 % of the renters for a second or third time which reduces my headaches and makes the experience more pleasant and satisfying for all. Think Snow !!!!

Easy access to the Sachem Trail ( 6 houses away) from prime location on West Hill. Trail access is at the ski tunnel on the Sachem ski trail. Drive up Mountain road to the top of the mountain for a walk about or picnic with amazing views.
