We had a great stay, with some of the best views we have ever seen. The apartment is lovely, plenty of space, well equipped and I enjoyed the parking challenge ! Great communications with the owner.

Perfect stay

Waking up to the amazing view of Lago Maggiore was the highlight of our trip. We so enjoyed our peaceful mornings and evenings on the large balcony. The apartment was clean and comfortable as well. Maciek was a wonderful host and a great communicator throughout the process. Highly recommend this property!

Breathtaking view!

Wonderful, comfortable apartment! A bit remote, but worth it. There is a great cafe in Stropino only 5 minutes away for coffee or dinner. Enjoy a terrace with jaw dropping views! Communication was best ever!

Just beautifull

Excellent choice to stay for a few days near Stresa at Lago Maggiore. Very neat appartment with large balcony and magnificent biew on the lake and mountains. You don't want to close the curtains at night! Check-in and check-out was very easy with all the information provided by Maciek.

Peaceful and breathtaking view of the lake

My 5 stars say it all about the cleanliness of the place, the quality of the place, the kindness of the owner ! If you need to rest and breathe just book this place : morning sunrise on the huge terrace is an amazing moment that can only be matched by sunset lunch at the same place with that mind blowing view. Thanks that was a very good time for me and my daughter! Regards

Lovely apartment with spectacular views!

The apartment is in a lovely spot with spectacular views across Lago Maggiore, and within easy driving distance of Stresa. The check-in process was simple, and Brenda and Maciek communicated very quickly and clearly. Their list of recommendations in the area were all excellent! We would highly recommend Brenda and Maciek’s apartment.

A place with a view

We had a very pleasant stay in Magognino, a quiet and welcoming little village. The apartment was lovely, comfortable, clean, well equipped and with a spectacular view over Lago Maggiore. We got to meet Maciek, the owner, very welcoming and helpful. Thank you, Maciek for taking the time to meet us!

Wonderful Lake Maggiore

Best communication with flat owner we've ever had. Immediate reply to all our questions. Flat with great view but a bit to far away to buy quickly some bread rolls, etc. We enjoyed the trip to LM with best weather. Special tip: Lago Maggiore Express and of course the small islands.

The apartment was superb - we loved it - and the views from the balcony were stunning. The owners, Maciek and Brenda could not have been more helpful in providing very detailed directions to the apartment, which could be tricky if you went the wrong way, plus they gave so much helpful information regarding things to do in the area. We found some very nice walks that you could do from the village - there was a detailed map on the roadside just before you enter Magognino. The apartment was very well equipped and very comfortable. The ramp up to the garage was steep but unless you had a car that was very low to the ground, you will be ok. We were very sad to leave but hope to return one day. Thank you Maciek and Brenda.

Lovely, clean and large apartment, exactly as outlined. Beautiful wrap around balcony with tremendous views of Lake Maggiore. Watched a great fireworks display in Stresa from our balcony last night. The only downfall with this apartment is there are no restaurants or food stores available in the small village and the drive to Stresa is by an incredibly narrow and winding road.

Great View!

The apartment is awkward getting to unless you have a small car, but once inside it’s all worth it. It is tastefully furnished. We only had 2 nights there and unfortunately we were out all day, so we were really there just evenings and early mornings. Suggestion for sightseeing is go to Stresa and after seeing it, take the Lake Maggiore Express Tour. The train pass wasn’t opened yet so we did the ferry up and back down, but Locarno was beautiful!

Fabulous views over Maggiore and a comfortable flat

The apartment is high up on the hillside looking over the lake. It is a wonderful location in a small village about 3 miles from Stresa. The flat was very comfortable and the balcony was lovely to relax on and to admire the view. There are also some good walks that pass through the village. It does feel a bit remote even in the village and the garage for the car is up a very very steep slope. Stresa was very touristy at the weekend but quiet in the week.

L’appartement est situé dans un charmant village. Il est spacieux, très bien équipé, en très bon état avec une belle terrasse et une vue extraordinaire sur le lac majeur! Driving

Apartment was well appointed. You must have a car and be a good driver because you must drive into Stresa to eat or shop. We were charged 20 euros for towels and sheet but the listing said they were included. Beautiful view of the lake!!!

L'appartement est spacieux, accueillant, lumineux et correspond aux descriptions de l'annonce. Il est très bien aménagé. La voiture a bien monté la rampe du garage (Citroën C4). Nous avons pu profiter plusieurs fois du lever de soleil depuis la terrasse.Maciek a été vraiment très disponible pour répondre à toutes nos questions.Nous rèvions du lac majeur... et bien c'est fait et nous ne sommes pas déçus.

Unser Aufenthalt war wunderschön. Das Appartement bietet einen herrlichen Blick auf den See von der großzügigen Terrasse aus. Es war alles da, was man braucht und der Vermieter ist sehr nett und kümmert sich um alles. Man fühlt sich gut aufgehoben und willkommen.

Traumhafter Blick

Wohnung ist gemütlich eingerichtet. Leider war sie nicht sauber. Das hat die Reinigungskraft nicht geschafft .Reinigungsmittel waren vorhanden. So haben wir selbst eine Reinigung vorgenommen. Mal hatten wir warmes Wasser mal nicht. In der zweiten Woche war alles ok. Der Vermieter war sehr bemüht. Die Ausstattung und die Einrichtung waren gut. Auch der Anfahrtsplan vom Vermieter war sehr gut. Wir haben die Wohnung gleich gefunden. Und hatten mit unserem BMW X1 keine Probleme. Die Straßen sind dort natürlich sehr schmal.

Schöne Wohnung mit tollem Ausblick

Die Wohnung liegt oberhalb in den Bergen und man sollte unbedingt ein Auto dabei haben. Die Garage war eine wirkliche Herausforderung, da es sehr steil zur Garage ging und wir ein etwas größeres Auto haben. Der Blick von dem Balkon war umwerfend schön. In der Wohnung hat es an nichts gefehlt, ausser das das WLAN nicht zu gebrauchen war. Arbeiten war somit unmöglich. Der Stromleitung sprang auch ständig raus, sobald zwei Geräte in der Wohnung liefen. Die Agentur war immer ansprechbar und immer bemüht eine Lösung zu finden.

Lake Maggiore, and the Lake District in general, is a great place to call home and makes for a wonderful holiday destination, offering a variety of fun and exciting activities at any time of the year, including mountain biking, hiking, sailing and skiing, just to name a few. In addition to the area’s breathtaking natural beauty, the region is also incredibly rich in history and offers lots of wonderful cultural attractions, from medieval castles and amazing palaces overlooking the lakes to world-class museums and numerous architectural wonders in Milan, Como, Bergamo and other nearby cities. One of the best features of the Lake District is its central location and its proximity to so many other popular and famous destinations. Within just a few hours drive one can soak up the sun on the beaches of the French Riviera, taste some of the world’s finest wines in beautiful Tuscany and enjoy truly spectacular alpine scenery while hiking around the Dolomites. Throw in a relatively pleasant climate, all the incredible food and the most delicious gelato and it’s easy to see why this is one of the nicest and most livable regions anywhere in the world.

Being one of the few modern properties in Magognino, our apartment boasts several useful and practical amenities which aren’t always readily available within the region. Most impressive of those is the wonderful spacious terrace which offers stunning panoramic views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. A private garage on the premises, an elevator and a floor heating system are some of the other features that make our property stand out from most others in the area. The property’s location is also quite particular, offering both peace and tranquility as well as quick and convenient access to some of the area’s most popular attractions.
