We have lived in the stunning village of Empingham for over 30 years. We brought up our children here, we are invested in the area and now in Primrose Hall Cottage, which we are keen to share with our guests. My wife Helen who is a primary school teacher, has to do the tough stuff, while I, having retired from a sales and marketing career get to enjoy and develop our new venture. Your stay will be a comfortable, homely experience with everything provided that you will need and hopefully more.
What makes this property unique
The cottage is unique and unparalleled, with bags of character and original features. Having a rich and varied past, originally as a stone barn, it has seen many purposes over the years including a meeting place for the Primrose League. Built some 250 years ago is Grade II listed and still benefits from some unusual features including an owl hatch, original beams, an oak block floor and small triangular feature windows.
