King's Court is located adjacent to the Goldsboro Municipal Golf Course which has the best practice facility in Wayne County. This newly renovated golf facility has a full service Pro Shop, 18 hole course, large driving range with practice bunker, chipping greens and is open to the public. In addition to being located next to the golf course, King's Court is only 3 miles from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, home of the 4th Fighter Wing who accomplishes its mission with the F-15E Strike Eagle.

The immediate neighborhood is ok but the surrounding area is very questionable. The house is older but very functional for a family stay!

Very spacious but a little disappointing

The house was very spacious but lacking in cleanliness. All surfaces were dusty, especially the TV screens and the furniture in the den. All the window blinds were very dirty and windowsill in the master bedroom was black with dirt. I mentioned this to the owners and they never even addressed this issue. Also they said the house provided snacks, water & coffee, NONE of which were provided. The air conditioners worked wonderfully though so that was a plus since it was very hot that weekend. Would have been nice to have an ice maker in the freezer but we just went out and bought bags of ice. The neighborhood was kind of sketchy but convenient to where we needed to go that weekend and the golf course we golfed at was literally right next door to the housing development. All in all, it was a good stay.

Not Non-Smoking

Me and my Wife booked the property for a week to attend a military retirement. Before booking and again shortly after, I communicated with the property manager, explaining that my wife is HIGHLY asthmatic, verifying it was a non-smoking property, and requesting that they not use any scented cleaners prior to our arrival. Upon entering the property my wife started to have an asthma attack within 5 minutes because of residual smoke smell at the property. After a total of 10 minutes on the property we called the property manager to tell her of the situation and tell her we were leaving the property as we could not stay there. She basically said we'll tough crap, bring it up with VRBO. We have spent a month talking with VRBO who will do absolutely nothing to help us, and trying to contact the property owner who won't even respond to us or VRBO. This is now a readily available review which identifies smoking occurred on the property so that any future issues will have evidence by this review. Hope nothing is wrong with your stay, because the property manager and owner certainly won't help you with it at all. They said that if we could prove a smell with a photograph then they could force a refund. Literally, VRBO wanted us to take a picture of a smell.

Very Convenient!

A group of us rented for Busco Beach Mud bash. This house was within 10 minutes from the park, had great parking options, and was huge! Very nice place to stay. Only downfall is one shower and the cold water did not work. Overall we loved the house!

Great stay!

Perfect for our needs. House is bigger than pictures look like, very clean, updated furniture and appliances, many extras provided (snacks, paper towels, starter coffee pods, etc.) Beds are very comfortable and bedrooms are large. Close to Seymour Johnson. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again if in the area.

Fantastic Property

We stayed here visiting nearby Busco Beach and the property is fantastic. It has plenty of towels, beds are very comfortable, kitchen it stocked, TVs and AC units that heat/cool/fan in every room. Living room very nice! We will definitely be back for our trips to Busco!

Goldsboro Stay

This house suited our group of 4 well. The beds were very comfortable, and the house was clean. Although the house sleeps six, only one shower makes it less than ideal for that many. Very comfortable furniture in the big screen tv room!

Lovely Property

The pictures don’t reflect the essence of this home. Comfortable, clean, with nice decorative touches throughout. The contact person was great to work with. She went above and beyond in accommodating my family and I. Great example of Southern Hospitality. Although our stay was for a sad occasion (funeral), I would stay here again and again.

House was very well maintained. Very nice and clean inside and outside. 3 large bedrooms. 1 full bath and 1 half bath, clean and neat. Plenty of room to sit , visit or just relax. Kitchen was clean. Washer and dryer did their job. Very nice, quite, clean neighborhood . Close to shopping and dining out, downtown Goldsboro and SJAFB. Would stay here again if available. Thank you

This house is clean and well kept, plenty of space, washer and dryer came in handy. House had three driveways plenty of parking and it had up to date televisions and DirecTV. Extremely satisfied with this selection and will be staying here again the next time I return to Goldsboro to visit Busco Beach ATV park

Choose this home!

The house we rented was absolutely wonderful, Very clean and great location to the Air Force Base. The owners went out of their way to make us feel very welcomed. I would definitely rent this home again.

Very clean and welcoming!

This is a very nice and clean house. The owner left us snacks and drinks and even bacon and eggs for our visit. Beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels.

Very comfortable new place!

I believe we were the second group/person to rent this newly renovated property. It is located on a very quiet street with plenty of parking. We rented the property for a quick family get together. All of the interior furniture is new and very comfortable. There was plenty of space to sit around and hang out (which is what we were looking for). All 3 bedrooms slept very well. In addition, there are multiple tvs which was nice. The air conditioning consists of window units which kept the main rooms pleasantly cool. In addition, all of the rooms (including bedrooms) had new ceiling fans as well! Two of the bed rooms did not have a window unit (but there may be plans to add them). The local couple who manages the property were absolutely delightful. We met them to get the keys for the house and later on during our weekend. The owner, Gene, was very responsive to all questions. We would definitely rent this property again.

It's a gamer's paradise that includes a pub table with a built in checkers and chess board. In addition, King's Court has a newly remolded spacious kitchen with new appliances which is perfect for entertaining. This 3 bedroom home is fit for a King and Queen, it has 2 king suites and a queen suite.
