Esta es una casa para no fumadores y no mascotas. (No hay excepciones, las alergias de la familia), es una casa de campo de limpieza totalmente equipada. Esto significa que debe poder ubicar el equipo que necesita para preparar y servir su propia comida, además de mantener la casa limpia. Nada de lo que comes es provisto. Se espera que limpiar todo lo que se ensucia y restaurar todo lo que se mueve a su ubicación inicial. Tenemos un sistema de calefacción / aire acondicionado que mantiene la casa principal cómodo. El sistema no da servicio al porche con ventanas / mallado, por lo que la puerta del porche debe permanecer cerrada cuando se usa calor / aire acondicionado. 1er piso- Sala de estar, cocina, comedor y baño completo (inodoro, lavabo y ducha de fibra de vidrio), También hay una ducha exterior para después del baño con agua fría y caliente. Tanto las duchas se pueden utilizar al mismo tiempo. 2 ª planta tiene 2 dormitorios en un loft. La escalera a la buhardilla se muestra en una foto. Se proporciona una puerta de seguridad de la parte superior de la escalera. También hay una pequeña luz de la noche en la parte superior de las escaleras. Salida a sótano debajo de la parte principal de la casa está disponible para guardar bicicletas. Hay una parrilla de carbón.

We enjoyed our stay at Jerry and Fay's lovely cottage very much. The space was cozy, clean, and conveniently located to everything that Wellfleet has to offer. We especially enjoyed playing games in the porch area, cooking simple dinners in the equipped kitchen, and being in the presence of the warm and rustic natural pine interior. Jerry and Fay were very communicative throughout the rental process - invested in giving us all the information and tips we needed for the best stay possible. Thank you Jerry and Fay!

Pleasant cottage in Wellfleet

Cozy Cape cottage in a great location. Loft-style cottage is small, but large enclosed porch at the rear is very nice. Very close to National Seashore, Wellfleet ponds and center. We had a great time and would certainly go back in the future.

I had a wonderful two-week stay at the cottage, which is comfortable and well equipped with all the basic needs, including a lovely enclosed porch and the all-important outdoor shower. The hosts were communicative and helpful. I hope to stay here again on a future trip to Wellfleet!

Just as advertised, nothing more nothing less. Owner was very responsive to questions or concerns. Small cabin perfect for couple looking for the basics. Don't forget to add price of linens, towels, cooking supplies, beach items(like chairs). This was the only drawback of this rental. I think the housekeeper must take ALL of the condiments, paper supplies, etc. that would normally be found in other rentals. We purchased a broom and mop for cleaning, hopefully it's still there. Everything had to be purchased prior to our first nights stay. The stop n shop in Orleans is the best place for any basic items like paper products, toilet paper, condiments, etc. Stop by Maurice's Market across from the drive inn for a great lobster roll.

When guests come from a distant state, they don't always understand what is customary to provide or not provide in Cape Cod cottages. Most cottages, like ours, do not provide towels and linens. Guests may bring their own or rent them from one of the local linen companies. Guests decide this on their own. Stephen chose to rent. There is a list of amenities we provide on our website. We also email other info, directions and our lease. We always talk to guests by phone, if possible, prior to accepting a booking. We want to answer any questions and provide as much information as we can. We did speak with Stephen by phone before he booked the cottage. In fact we are the ones that suggested to Stephen, as we do with other guests, that he should stop in Orleans at a large supermarket to purchase food and supplies before going to the cottage. If there are any problems at the cottage, guests know from our info to call us immediately. At that point we contact the appropriate service provider, housekeeper, plumber, etc. Stephen did not call us about any issues while at the cottage. Renting a Cape Cod cottage and having a cottage experience is different from renting a hotel room.

Everything as promised

Everything was as described, everything worked and 1 minor confusion we had with the outdoor shower was resolved very quickly. Several things we didn’t realize and didn’t ask before booking. It was a surprise, but didn’t impact us - we rented a place to sleep in. 1. Bathroom is on the first floor, bedroom is on a second floor 2. Bedrooms are essential a loft space divided by an extra wall. 3. The cottage is the part of complex, there is no privacy, no outside space to relax 4. There is a space under covered porch which was god sent to store our bikes and keep them dry from rain 5. It looks like floors & kitchen countertops are recently updated and much nicer than it is usual for similar rentals 6. 2 out of 3 mattress were excellent ( firm). 1 is very soft ( cut can be someone else’s preference) 7. Rt. 6 is right there in maybe 100 yards, but noice is canceled by windows & air conditioning. 8.Convenient biking to the CCRT. There are some unpaved patches before you’ll get there. I don’t think the road bikes will do there. Location was perfect for our mountain and hybrid bikes.

wonderful time!

This cottage is warm and welcoming. The indoor porch was much bigger than I expected with lots of chairs and a picnic table inside. The grassy area outside the porch gives an open feeling. The kitchen was well-stocked with all plates, bowls, pots and more that we needed. The location is fantastic- down the road (away from Route 6) you can get to bike trails, Duck Pond, and the bakeries without getting on Route 6! We loved staying here.

salt cottage get away

Loved the location of this property- we could bike oceanside, bayside and ponds. I had not been to Wellfleet before and loved the laid-back nature of the town, the spectacular beaches. The cottage is simple, comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen. We had a very relaxing, easy-going week there.
