Beautiful property!! Amazing service and stay

The stay was absolutely amazing and so unique, the property is so gorgeous and spacious for our group and so private with no one else nearby. The living areas outside are so relaxing and the spaces gets great sunlight all around the island! The housekeeper and boat captain are so nice and helpful. My family loved the outdoor games, hammock, and there’s a great low wading area so close to the island that’s fantastic to swim in during high and low tide and is CRYSTAL clear. The pool is also heated and was so wonderful after swimming in the ocean.

Fantastic Private Island Experience

We had a party of 17, half kids and half adults. Everyone was blown away. We had a fantastic time and would love to return. Highly recommended for a memorable family vacation!

Vacation of a lifetime!

Just came back from Middle Cay, no one in our group wanted to leave. All the amenities you can think of. We loved going around in the boat, Andrew was very knowledgeable, and the kids had a blast with him. The restaurants on Harbour Island were amazing. The pool, the hammock, the landscaping. We had three generations come with us and there was something to do for everyone.

Hermit crabs, turtles and ocean life were fun for the kids,. House is just unbelievable.

Everything was really fun,. The pool was great. The water taxis are very accessible to Harbour island and also to Eleuthra. So, you have both privacy and also access to more action. Fishing was great. We could not ask for anything more.

Love, love, loved it

Did I mention we loved it. Everything was top notch, we were taken care of at all times. From before we booked to after we checked out we were treated like royalty. The island is a gem, the caretakers are so friendly. Plenty of room for our large group. Going to Harbour Island for meals was so easy. We will be back.

Fabulous property!

We have been coming to Harbour Island for decades. We are so happy to have come across this new addition. We had access to the boat and the captain all day long. Kids were always doing some activity on the boat. We went to Harbour Island as needed. We loved the privacy and the quiet ambience(read no roosters waking you up) of Middle Cay.

Beyond words, cannot wait to come back

Loved the property, the serenity, the walkway around the island. So much sea life to enjoy! Middle Cay was so close to Harbour Island, we went there for dinner and sometimes for lunch. We have stayed on Harbour Island, but we loved the privacy that the island provided. Not being woken up by the roosters on Harbour was a plus. We did leave our golf cart at the dock on HI. The water on the island is brackish, I was told less than Harbour, we just used the spring water provided. We rented both homes and had an amazing time!

Amazing experience with great privacy!

We rented both of the homes on the island and had an absolutely amazing experience! This is truly a dream vacation property that really sets itself apart from others. The serenity and privacy of the island were exquisite. Getting to Middle Cay was a cinch and Harbour Island was minutes away. Our family really enjoyed the beach and watching all of the sea wild life. There were nice walking paths throughout the property and the landscaping was top notch. At night, the whole island is very well lighted. AC worked well everywhere, WiFi Internet throughout and we really enjoyed getting out on the boat. We look forward to coming back soon!

Our first private island stay and it was fab!

We were a group of 16, loved every minute of it. So many activities to do, between the pig excursion, the lobster diving, the water tubing, outdoor bowling, beach volleyball and many more. The island looks like a resort. We did have to deal with the challenges of being on an island, so that was a great learning experience and made us appreciate many things we take for granted in the U.S. The staff is absolutely a delight to work with, the place was super clean. Nicholas came lightening quick when ever we needed something. They provide a boat twice a day to go to Eleuthera or Harbour Island. Everyone loved it.

We are planning our second trip already!

The island is such a treat, three generations loved it. Peace and great service are the two main things we enjoyed on the island. There was so much to do, many board games and outdoor activities to do. Harbour Island was so close that we were never far from civilization. Our group all agreed that the restaurants on Harbour Island were better than the one's in Nassau. We did the swimming pigs excursion that the kids loved,. The fishing was amazing, Island had fishing rods and tackle. Snorkeling was amazing, again we got the snorkelling gear from the stash on the island. Nicholas the prpperty manager was prompt and went out of his way to make our trip memorable! We are already planning our trip back to Middle Cay!

Middle Cay Paradise

We had an amazing experience from the time we were picked up at the dock, until returning to the dock. The property is very well maintained daily, and the housing was perfect for my family on 19. There was something for all ages to enjoy on the island. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Chef Jasmine prepared wonderful meals three times per day and the food was 5-star restaurant worthy. The daily boat trips to feed the pigs, turtles, and sting rays was special and the water is beautiful. Our older boys also got to fish and dive for conch which was a lot of fun for them. It was also nice to be able to boat a few minutes over to Harbour Island to shop and have lunch at The Dunmore. Lastly, the owner, Sonal, was very helpful and available for anything we needed before we got there and throughout our stay. I highly recommend this property! :) :)

Just freaking amazing!!!

We were blown away at the service, the level of luxury, the amenities available. We were a large group, there was plenty to do. Every day we relaxed in the massive outdoor living area on the private island. The beds were comfortable, the bed sheets were high end, there were enough towels provided for all of us. The housekeeper came by every day and this was so helpful. The boat captain took us to places where we got fresh conch from the sea bed. Kids picked up a lot of tidbits about the local sea life. Saw many varieties of fish, even saw dolphins, the locals called it flipper. We are grateful for the staff and Sonal making this a memorable vacation, we have 3 generations in our group and everyone did not want to leave middle cay. We hope to be back soon!

It is hard to describe what a wonderful place Middle Cay is. Our family of 13 (8 adults and 5 children ages 5-8) just spent the best week ever there. This island offers everything but especially Mother Nature in all of her glory. The accommodations were perfect, when in the main house you felt like you were on a boat. The staff was excellent, the food delicious and having the boat was a major plus. The children went out on it every day, Vincent (the captain) took them to so many special places, swimming with turtles, swimming with stingrays, snorkeling on shipwrecks, tubing and just finding starfish. On the island we kayaked with a manatee and sea turtles. The little ones caught lizards and had hermit crab races. I feel like I have only touched the surface of this amazing island. Sonal, the owner is great to work with! There were lots of tears when it was time to leave, we all wanted to stay forever! Memories of a lifetime

A trip to PARADISE

The most amazing trip ever! We had initially booked it for three days but one day in and we ended up extending for the week! It was perfect in every way. The island is only 10 minutes away from the airport and only a 5 minute ride to harbor island. The island is surrounded by mangroves which brings in lots of sea life. Turtles, dolphins, stingrays, starfish and even manatees! The island itself offers a lot of activities including snorkeling, kayaking, fishing, beach volleyball, a captain with a boat and a chef! We watched the sunrise from the infinity pool and watched the sunset from the dock, which were both breathtaking. The staff working at the island are very helpful and incredibly kind. My fiancé proposed to me while on this trip and our host Sonal helped him out with the location and helped arrange everything. The trip was absolutely perfect and we were so sad to leave. We are looking forward to going there again as soon as we can!

Absolutely perfect

Group was me, my husband, two 8 year old sons, my brother, his wife and their 17yo and 13yo. The property has gorgeous views in all directions, lush vegetation, and the island is large and spread out. For two families traveling together with kids of different ages, the two (very nice) houses setup was super helpful. The biggest surprise about the island was the wildlife in the cove b/t the island and Eleuthera - many manatees would swim up let you scratch their backs that everyone would rush to the kayaks/paddle boards/snorkeling gear whenever they could to say hi to our new friends. For activities off island the boat captain took us out a bunch of times and we went tubing, looked at the sea turtles and other wildlife, saw the pigs on Spanish Wells, anchored on a beach off Eleuthera to swim and look for sea biscuits, snorkeling, or just to go for short boat rides. The staff was excellent and friendly and would help us with anything we needed. The chef made delicious restaurant quality meals (I know where she trained so not surprised). The proximity to Harbour Island is a great bonus bc it's a five minute ride across - we went to lunch at one of the beach hotels once while kids played on pink sands and one night went to dinner in town, the boat would wait and you'd text and boom you're home. The owner was v communicative on a group WhatsApp chat that included the house manager, anything we needed we got. In conclusion, a wonderful stay and I'd love to go back.

Amazing stay! Dream vacation.

Loved our stay on Middle Cay. It is a private oasis, this was a dream vacation. First time we used airbnb and we are very happy. The private island was very easy to get to, Sonal the hosts sets everything up for you prior to arrival. We flew into ELH(North Eleuthra) from FLL(Ft. Lauderdale). From there took a short taxi ride and then on to the Cay in a matter of a few minutes. We had asked the house to be stocked with groceries prior to arrival and were greeted with ice cold local beer. The place is immaculate, the beds are comfortable, amenities that you would expect in a luxury rental. The outdoor living is the star attraction of this island. The night time swim, being on the cay and having complete peace, yet just a stone throw away to all the joys of an out island. House was stocked with most of the spices we needed, the fridge had many condiments. We caught so many fish and grilled them for dinner most nights. We had daily maid service and we used a local boat captain to ferry us around to Harbour Island and other private islands in the vicinity. There is a boat available for use on the island. The pink sand beach was the most amazing beach we have ever been, the sand is not a bright pink, but hues of pink are evident in certain lights. Lot of restaurants on Harbour Island that we loved, Arthur's bakery is not to be missed. We hope to come back soon.

Kayla, Thank you for pointing out how easy it is to get to the island.So many flights from Ft Lauderdale, either with United(silver airways operates it) or Aztec airlines. From Nassau there are 7 flights daily to ELH. Was happy to see you get some use out of the kitchen, the chef you hired said everyone one of you cleaned every grain of the plate. A dream week in the Bahamas

We had ages 5-82 years old and this experience was amazing for everyone of us! Sonal the owner begins communicating with you right away and is always available for questions or concerns. She takes great pride in this property. The property has snorkel gear, paddle boards, kayaks, fishing poles, underwater scooters... and the amount of sea life around the island is incredible. The boatmen-Sydney, Cornell and EJ were absolutely amazing. Every single day was filled with unbelievable adventures to remote beaches, tourist spots (pigs, swings, turtles), bone fishing, snorkeling like I have never experienced (reefs, star fish, sting rays, tons of fish, lobster, conch, turtles...), conch diving, Harbour Island, Spanish wells, Eleuthera, the Atlantic (gorgeous blue water and snorkeling)...... We had one day of big water and we felt completely safe with these experienced boatmen and this big boat. Jasmine the chef prepared meals that exceeded every expectation. We ate lunch out one day and nobody wanted to eat out again-Jasmine is a very gifted chef with a glowing personality!! My mother in law spent a couple of days relaxing on the island reading while the rest of us were adventuring- she couldn't get over the number of lounging spaces to relax:) The gardener was so king and opened coconuts for the kids to drink daily. We loved boating over to Harbour Island in the evenings to body surf on the pink beaches before dinner. Traveling in October was perfect- the weather was wonderful, the water was 84 degrees, and there was not congestion anywhere. I cant imagine having an experience this comprehensive at another rental in the Harbour Island area.

The tranquility of renting your own private island is something one can only appreciate once on the cay. The ever present breeze, that soothes the soul. The salt in the air washes away your stress.

We love Middle Cay because while it gives us the privacy and peace, we also have the option of going to Harbour Island or Eleuthera in a matter of minutes.

The fishing at the cay is an added bonus. Feel free to find us on Facebook to see the video of the Dolphins playing right by our dock.

The cay is also surrounded by sea turtles.
