Escape to the coziest, lakeside cottage. Recently renovated to perfection, this quaint and well-kept 3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage is located on a private road and down the road from a private beach paradise. This property is perfect for couples, families and friends alike as it is a cozy space, yet large enough for privacy. Enjoy cooking in a well equipt kitchen, read a book on the covered porch, walk down the lane to dip your feet in the lake, or enjoy a nice barbecue with a cocktail- your options here are endless. In case you aren't a well suited guest for completely unconnecting, we have the fastest wifi you will ever experience and a cable TV in each room. The house has its own driveway for ample overnight parking and an in-unit washer/dryer for convenience. Complete with air conditioning and heat, your stay here is guaranteed to be enjoyable and comfortable. Our superb location is a stones throw from Union Pier, New Buffalo and Harbert, but nestled in our own friendly, lakeside community. We provide many amenities to make sure your stay is as effortless as possible, after all, life is great at the lake!

We are Family Friendly: We proudly partner with BabyQuip for Baby Gear Rental. Additional information available upon request from owner. Including but not limited to: strollers, wagons, car seats, full size cribs, Snoo's, pack n' plays, highchairs or boosters, toys, baby gates, extra beach gear and much more. We also provide a curated list of recommended activities in our area if the beach isn't calling your name.

The property was perfect for three sisters on our annual Michigan trek. Although the weather was rainier than most of our previous trips, the house had everything we needed. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could need. The beds were comfortable and the cottage was clean. Spent many hours on the front porch doing puzzles and reminiscing about our childhood. Would recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage was great for our family of 4 and you can’t beat the proximity to the beautiful private beach. We had a wonderful stay! The house was very nice, spotless, and nicely decorated. It was in a great location, just a short distance from the beach. The host was friendly and responsive throughout our stay. My family and my nieces had an amazing time, and the home was perfect for making great memories together. Sweet cottage in charming Lakeside, MI. 5 minute walk to the private neighborhood beach! Impeccably clean, excellent communication from host, perfect amount of space for a family of 4. We loved how open the kitchen is! The house is well stocked with beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, beach umbrella, and rolling cooler. We brought a wagon from home to transport beach supplies to & from the beach. Hailey was quick to respond to any questions & provided great detail about about the property. Easy check-in & check-out. Property is very close to downtown New Buffalo and other area attractions. We highly recommend the Cozy Cottage!

Lovely cottage and stunning beach. It felt like a cabin in the woods, but with a gorgeous beach and cute towns close by. The beach access was beautiful. The house was adorable, love the set up. It felt clean and cozy. Only issue was they were dealing with ants, which I totally understand they were trying to take care of and is an issue just with the area, but would have been nice to have a heads up, as we ended up having to throw out our snacks, but we would have been more careful storing them if we had known ahead of time. The communication was very swift when we let them know. I’m sure they’ll get that taken care of soon. I would still recommend this place and would come back again!
