Our host was welcoming. The rooms were comfortable. We loved the patio and barbecue facilities. We felt secure. Nights were very quiet.

Lime Cottage

Great location, very safe and secure we did not need to close or lock doors. No loadshedding was a big plus. Will definitely be back. Thank you Athol for being a great host.

We stayed in the villa 10 out of the 11 days. The owner was there everyday to feed the parrot.

My experience was very good except we had to move to the line cottage for one night as the villa was rented the last night we were there and were given very little notice. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and it was very clean.

Poor . Keep away

Property dirty toilets cisterns broken,very old fashioned. Cutlery and utensils greasy and old . Totally misinterpreted online. Vrbo needs to look into this properly. Owner writes his own reviews. We left after an hour a real shame as we had just arrived in the country .please keep away you will be disappointed.

Beautiful Romantic Cottage

WOW! What an amazing end to our Honeymoon! The cottage was just as described, we did not rent a car and solely relied on Uber. It was very easy to get around, we even did a wine tour using Uber. There is a mall and grocery store near by. This is a very safe neighborhood. The pictures do not do the cottage justice, it’s gorgeous and we did not want to leave! Athol is a wonderful host and lives on the premises, very responsive and overall a great guy! The pool and hot tub are beautiful. We had lunch at Beau Constansia, highly recommended! The views are amazing!

Wonderful and heartful place!

Eine wunderbar eingerichtet Unterkunft und bestens geeignet für self catering. Die entsprechenden Geschäfte sind nur wenige Autominuten von der Unterkunft entfernt. Hinzu kommt die zentrale Lage. Man muss nicht permanent Kapstadt passieren. Hout Bay, Muizenberg, Kalk bay und viele Restaurants und Weingüter sind sehr schnell und vor allem staufrei zu erreichen. Athol und Tamara sind traumhafte Gastgeber und bei Problemen immer vor Ort.

A real home from home. Ideal

We were warmly welcomed by Athol and shown around. Lime Cottage exceeded my expectations, being even more spacious than I had expected. The quality of the fittings, equipment and furnishings is very high and in particular I liked the well-equipped kitchen. Everything was clean and new. We slept well as it is very quiet and the security is excellent, something which even if it's perhaps not necessary in Constantia, is reassuring. Lime Cottage is within walking distance (20 minutes) of Constantia Village where there is a comprehensive range of shops, services, and restaurants. It is safe to walk during the day and probably even at night, but it's only a 5 minute drive. There are many other restaurants in the area and it's only a few minutes drive to most of them, including Hout Bay. Town and Southern Suburbs are easily accessible by good roads and a couple of scenic options. Athol and Tamara did everything they could to ensure our stay was enjoyable, and we wanted for nothing. Thank you! We will return and that is the highest recommendation.

Great holiday house

Great house that worked well for our two week stay in Cape Town. Perfect location for getting everywhere on the peninsula. Good security and nice swimming pool, all perfectly clean and tidy.

BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY, SAFE LOCATION, WONDERFUL HOST!

We stayed in beautiful Lime Cottage for 3 weeks in January and could not have been happier with our accommodation. Athol (the owner) is a delightful host who is available should you need him. He was brilliant at communicating with us before our arrival, clearly stating the stunning pool area is shared between all the cottages and main villa (as you would expect similar to a hotel). The cottage is perfect and exceeded my expectations with its spacious layout, large lounge area with gazillions of TV channels!, a fabulous kitchen (with all mod cons), SUPER comfortable beds and immaculately clean. The outside patio area is perfect (especially when travelling with a 4 year old) and we BBQ every other night. The pool is simply AMAZING!! Solar heated so never cold and we taught our son to swim whilst staying there, so wonderful memories. I cannot praise or recommend Lime Cottage highly enough and would hope to return again the future. Special thanks to Athol and his team for making our holiday special and unforgettable.

Absolutely fantastic with all the trimmings!

This is our second year staying at Lime Cottage, Le Bonheur estate. It really is a gem in the best location in Cape Town! The staff are all smiles and willing to help. A true vacation. Athol is an excellent hands on Manager/Owner and we would not hesitate to return or recommend! The location is phenomenal and we enjoyed great restaurants, short trips to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, superb wine farm trips and easy shopping at the local Constantia Village. The security, solar heating, bore hole water system all added to our fun and happy vacation. Thank you Athol!

Großartiges Ferienhaus in zentraler Lage

Das immer noch wie neu wirkende Ferienhaus gehört zur Grundausstattung unserer Reisen. Der große Vorteil neben der Sauberkeit und wunderschönen Ausstattung: Die sehr zentrale Lage in alle Richtungen (Meer, Kapstadt, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Cape Point, Kalk Bay, die vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten in Constantia selbst usw.) und die liebenswerte Betreuung durch Athol und sein Team. Wir kommen auch 2018 gern wieder!

SAFE & STUNNING ACCOMMODATION

The WOW factor is 9.9 on the scale. We stayed in Lime Cottage for just under three weeks and cannot praise the property and the owner too highly. The cottage is luxurious and fitted out with quality, everything you need to make the stay very comfortable indeed. The cottage is located within very secure surroundings and just a short stroll from Constantia village. There are a number of vine yards within walking distance of the cottage. The owner and his assistants are extremely helpful and go out of their way to assist you whenever needed. We are returning again next year for four weeks and very much looking forward to a relaxing holiday. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

STUNNING ACCOMODATION

Le Bonheur is a stunning, 5 star accommodation venue in Constantia. The venue is absolutely amazing, great decor and extremely secure. Location is great (easy access to Cape Town centre, walks on Table Mountain, and the Contantia vineyards). We stayed in the in the villa and in Lime Cottage. The villa is spacious and the French furniture is luxurious, comfortable and stylish. The beds have top class mattresses and pillows. Lime Cottage was fully equipped with everything you might need and beautifully furnished and cleanliness throughout the Cottage was of a high standard. The French style kitchen was spacious and well equipped. Full screen televisions in every room was of top quality Athol is a very attentive and caring host that makes you feel at home and will go out of his way to cater for your needs. The venue is absolutely amazing, great decor and extremely secure. Annalie and Annette

Home away from home

My husband and I spent a week in Lime Cottage during the very chilly August of this year. We were very cozy with the fireplace burning which warmed the whole cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed cooking up a storm on and in the enormous gas stove/oven and didn't want for any cooking equipment, crockery or cutlery - all these items are supplied and are stylish, practical and spotless. There is a washing machine and dryer in the kitchen too which both take large loads and are quietly efficient. The owner, Athol's style comes through in the comfortable and refined furnishings and also in the unique, beautiful art pieces dotted around the cottage. I had to drag myself out of the memory foam pillow top, king size, extra-length bed in the mornings - sheer luxury! The en-suite bathroom we used off the main bedroom is stylish and chic with a gigantic shower rose in the shower and enough room for about 4 people to comfortably shower at once :-) If I must say something negative, the shower being blocked on the first night (although quickly rectified by Athol's efficient, friendly and handsome handyman), put a damper on an otherwise faultless week in Lime Cottage.

Home away from home

We stayed in Lime Cottage for several months. It was extremely well laid out and the owners have taken care to ensure that you will find everything you need in the cottage. The cottage is nice and luxurious with a very cosy fireplace, which came in very handy for us during some cold winter nights. The cottage is located within walking distance of Constantia Village, where there are several nice restaurants and grocery shops. Within a short drive of the cottage there are several wine farms and Kirstenbosch gardens. The owners and the staff were very helpful and made every effort to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We would certainly look to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, luxurious self catered holiday.

Very friendly hosts and safe accommodation

My family and I love Cape Town and this Cottage was perfect for our needs. We used the barbeque to prepare our traditional Korean meals whilst the kids stayed warm in front of the TV and Wood burning Fireplace which we had on during the colder days. The enclosed Patio kept the Cottage nice and warm. I can reccommend this Cottage to anybody that wants to stay in Cape Town in a 5 star Cottage with everything you need.
