Our trip to bude

The cottage was a great little base to go explore the delights of Cornwall, it has all you need for a base in a nice area. Although like other's have mentioned previously, the bed isn't the biggest and quite hard but some prefer a firm bed, but it's not for us unfortunately

Great location

This was our first dip into a staycation following lockdown and we did have a few concerns. We needn’t have worried, contactless “Check-In “ although we had a brief, distanced conversation with Jenny, cottage was spotless and cosy and ideal for the 2 of us. The oven took a bit of getting used to but that was “pilot error “. The settee was a little on the low side for people of a certain age but this is just a minor grumble. A very enjoyable first break and thoroughly recommended

Great location

Lovely quiet location a short drive to Bude. Property had everything required and was comfortable. Great location to explore north coast. Very small negatives include, noisy squealing shower, bath towels too small and property would benefit from somewhere to dry wet clothing. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and rate the property highly.

Great little cottage.

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage is compact but perfect for the 2 of us. And we really appreciated a well stocked kitchen for cooking. Jenny was very helpful and timely with her responses. Only very minor gripe is that we didn’t find the mattress very comfortable but we appreciate that it’s hard to cater for everyone on this front.

Quite basic

Comfortable bed and sofa. Hot water seemed to run out quickly (although shower on a separate system). Crockery and cooking utensils could have been cleaner. No dishcloth provided and other things lacking eg no bread knife. No hooks for hanging coats. Small things but easy to rectify. Otherwise a comfortable stay thank you.
