Wye Valley Countryside Retreat
Nestled in the Wye Valley with plenty to explore with easy access to Monmouth, Tintern, Forest of Dean & Chepstow a great place to base yourself from being only 15 mins from the bridges into Wales.
The Wye Valley walk runs along the perimeter of the house so no need for cars if you just want to explore.
Discuss your needs with the owners and we will try to make your stay memorable.
The space
Visitors are welcome to bring dogs if we can agree on rules. It is ideal for dog walking.
Guest access
There are two rooms: a bedroom and ensuite and a room with sofa, tv, table and chairs. wifi. Safe storage area for bikes etc. Off road parking.
There is access to a large fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave. Fresh towels and bed linen. Iron and hairdryer can be provided on request.

We aim that our guests have a fantastic experience, so please do ask at the time of booking for anything specific to your needs that we might be able to help out with.

Huge numbers of walking, cycling routes and many quaint local towns and villages to explore. Within 5 mins of walking or driving there are many views overlooking the Wye Valley and it's varied landscape.
Alongside this there are many historical sites, monuments and Castles. For example: Tintern Abbey, Caerleon, Ragalan Castle, Chepstow Castle and many more.
Easy access to the larger towns/cities like Cardiff, Bristol, Ross-on-Wye, Abergavenny if preferred. There are other beauty spots like The Brecon Beacons or Crickhowell within the hour.
