About Carroll Reetz
Carroll spent most of her career in Human Resources but gave it all up (darn) to open a hostel in Niagara Falls- leaving the wonderful California weather behind but gaining a wonderful husband. Andre is from Germany and we found each other here! We have since expanded from the hostel and added a couple vacation rentals to our endeavors. We think they are a great alternative to a sterile hotel - more like home away from home.
Carroll Reetz purchased this House in 2013

Great host and clean apartment
Close to the falls, clean apartment and great communication with the host. Fun stay!!
Clean but old
The property is in a great location for everything you want to do in and around the falls.
The house was probably built in the 1940 there are no restrooms on the main level you must climb 2 flights of very noisy stars just use a restroom then if you are with other people you will need to climb 2 more flights of noisy stairs to use the other bathroom. If you have any problems with stairs you would not want to rent this house, but if you have someone with you that might want to sneak around it won’t happen in this house.
It was clean and the land lord was really great to work with.
Thanks for the feedback. A few corrections though. As stated in our listing, the house was built in 1910 - so yes, it is old and the steps do creak. Sorry teenagers ; )
There are two bathrooms in the house. One on the second floor and one on the third floor - so two flights total. We will make this more clear in our listing so that future guests that have problems with stairs are in the know. Thanks again.
Great place to stay in Niagara
This property is well located, close to Falls, shops, restaurants and has plenty of room and facilities.
About the only thing missing is a laundry.
We really enjoyed our stay.
Carroll was great and check in process was very easy.
Clean and Convenient
The property was in easy walk of the Aquarium , Discovery Center and shuttle to all the Falls locations. The property is around 100 years old and has been remodeled. The bedrooms are on the second floor (as is one of the bathrooms) nd the second, and largest bathroom is on the third floor. The stairs are very creaky, but we got use to it. The cleanliness and convenient location make this property a value.
Very comfortable stay!
Very clean and comfortable lodging near the falls and right beside the aquarium. Carroll was always prompt in her communication and we had a wonderful weekend. Good wifi and comfortable beds in a quiet neighborhood! Thank you Carroll!
Besides the Niagara Falls State Park - the first state park in the county, there are many other things to see and do. Buffalo, is only 20 minutes away and Lake Ontario the same in the other direction.
