Blue Horizonsは、2017年に地元の建築家によってウェイマスの端に建設され、ラルワースからポートランドまで続くパノラマビューを表示しています。 この素晴らしい家は、ドーセットの海辺での快適な滞在に必要なすべてを提供しています。 それが完成する前に私たちはそれに夢中になりました。私たちにとっては、それはポートランドとその巨大な港の完全に途切れることのない景色を提供するガラスの欄干を包む大きな1階のベランダでした。 時刻に応じて、コーヒーやワインを片手に、セーリングやカイトサーフィンを楽しむのに最適な場所です!! 家の残りの部分は素晴らしいものの、ほとんど取るに足らないものでした！
とは言っても、非常に大きな照明、明るいキッチンダイナーがあり、庭にパティオのドアがあり、景色を最大限に活用できます。 居間はリラックスして読書やお気に入りのテレビ番組をチェックしたり、テラスにパティオのドアを通って散歩するのに最適な場所です。 階下のクロークもあります。
1階には2つの専用ベッドルームがあり、1つには海を見渡すバルコニーがあり、もちろん素晴らしいベランダがあります。 庭園からは海も見渡せます。海は50メートル以内にあります。 フェリーブリッジは約300メートル先にあり、ウィンドサーファー、カイトサーファーに最適です。ビーチのカクテルバー/レストランの隣にはパドルボードスクール/レンタルがあります。 晴れたウェイマスでの悪い生活ではありません！

We had a wonderful stay at this quietly situated property in Weymouth. The house is very comfortable and boasts especially good beds! We really appreciated having several different sitting areas both inside and out and the sea views from both the balcony and the conservatory were a real highlight.

Fabulous sea view property

This is our second visit to Blue Horizon. Another fantastic stay, felt like coming home. Love the addition of the summer room, especially great on a rainy day. Lots of walking routes directly from the property. We explored Portland, the quarry park, walking to Portland Bill along the coastal path. Highly recommend a stay at this beautiful property.

Fabulous visit

The hosts have gone out of their way to make their house an inviting place to stay in. The location is superb and made our relaxation times at home just as nice as our exploration of Dorset. Lots of lovely places to visit. Highly recommend this as a holiday venue.

Just perfect

Beautiful house with stunning views of Weymouth bay and Portland. The location was great it was nice and quiet but easy to get into Weymouth either by 30 minute walk on the Rodwell trail or by very frequent buses stopping a couple of minutes walk from the house. We didn't use our car at all whilst we were there. For eating out there is Billy Winters which is 5 minute walk and worth a visit and lots of lovely pubs and restaurants in Weymouth and Portland. There are also quite a few takeaways in the local area. The house was comfortable and well equipped, comfy sofa in the living room, everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the views. I wouldn't hesitate in booking this property again it was hands down the best place we have stayed.

The property is excellent it is as described in the listing. really close to Portland Bay, we had a great time, even staying in and using the balcony a couple of times to just relax and chill out.

Fabulous location

Lovely stay in well equipped house. The views are to die for and even in not so good weather there’s always something to watch in Portland harbour. Easy walks to the Crab House and Billy Winters restaurants, both excellent. Lots to do in the area. We hope to be back soon.

Amazing!!!

The house is beautiful and clean with far reaching views towards Portland. The bottle of bubbly & card for our 40th wedding anniversary was a lovely touch. Plenty to see and do during the day & spent every evening just watching the goings on. We would definitely book this property again, without a doubt.

Beautiful property, with amazing views. Home from home comforts. Spotlessly clean. Amazing location for getting around by foot and also seeing Dorset. Wish we could wake up to these views every day .

Stunning views, well equipped modern home

The views are amazing. Walking path and the sea right behind house. View after view. Well equipped kitchen with tons of space, comfy living room- and I loved the sunroom out back! This was October weather with occasional rain and wind. Must be truly amazing in summer with outdoor spaces.. convenient for Dorset exploring.

Peaceful location with glorious view

Excellent quiet location with good access to local amenities. There is a nice walking and biking trail for some exercise when not simply relaxing in the garden or on the deck with its unbeatable panoramic view of the harbor. The home is immaculate and well equipped for self-catering. The owners were exceptionally informative and thoughtful.

The house was ideally situated overlooking Portland Harbour & Weymouth Bay. Very comfortable both outside & in & well equipped for a great stay. Would thoroughly recommend it. Hostess was keen to ensure that everything was clean & well presented.

Wow

Wonderful stay in this beautiful property - pictures can't do justice to the views! The location of the property is wonderful with beaches, restaurants and nice beach bar all in easy walking distance. There is a Coaster open top bus that links you into Weymouth and connecting services down the coast. So much to do in the area! Communication/recommendations from Gilly and Bob were excellent - you can tell how proud they are of the property and how much they enjoy it themselves, rightly so. Parking right outside, everything you could need inside - we honestly couldn't fault it.

Best ever accommodation

Blue Horizons is a beautifully designed and well-furnished house with sea views to die for! I am very elderly and travelled with my two mature daughters. The house had everything you could need but, as our week was quite hot, maybe the addition of a fan or two would be welcomed if you feel the heat, although we closed all curtains whilst out during the day, which worked quite well, plus the garden and balconies were quite breezy. There is are so many lovely places to visit and good 'eateries' in the area too. We hope to return to Blue Horizons and would happily recommend it to anyone.

BW and YCP Stay

A beautiful clean home which provided everything necessary for a lovely stay. The location was well served with public buses to connecting attractions. The views across the harbour to Portland gave such entrainment. Provided optics ensured nothing was missed!!!!. If a keen cyclist, you may find the routes limited and restricted to shared pathways or roads. Walks from the property are via the cycle /foot path and causeway across to Portland however the coastal path is within striking distance.

Holiday home with a view (and a half!)

Just one word is needed to sum up our week - WOW. From initial communication with Gilly (the owner), arriving at a spotless, home with so much thought having been giving to the guest experience, one glance out of the back of the property and you are blown away by the view. Panoramic and dynamic sea views - we loved spending time on the verandah in the sunshine ☀️, watching the boats and water sports with the thoughtfully provided binoculars. We loved the rugged feel of the local coastline and enjoyed the diversity of scenery, climbing to the top of Portland hill is an experience not to miss. We will be back ……

Fabulous property and views!

We were so lucky this property was available after the easing of a very long lockdown. We were so ready for this holiday and on arrival it did not disappoint. There was a basket of goodies for the adults and an Easter basket of chocolate for the kids. The property was spotlessly clean, comfortable, well equipped with everything we needed. The location was fabulous, straight out the front door and we were all on our scooters on the Rodwell trail which took us to Billy Winters Cafe or Chesil Beach cafe. The perfect distance for scooting with two young children. The best part about this property are the views. There is so much to see from the property. We had to drag ourselves away from them every day. We would have happily stayed sitting in the sunshine watching the birds, boats, kite surfers, yachts, cruise liners, paddle boarders. We were so lucky with the weather, but even in wetter, cloudier weather the views would still be amazing. There are many different outside seating areas to enjoy the views from. Great communication with the owners who were always very quick to respond to our messages and always helpful. We were sad to leave Blue Horizons and really hope to return someday.

Outstanding Holiday Experience

The property is great. The location and the views are exceptional !We have been blessed with incredible weather for our two week stay, and have been able to enjoy the house and all it has to offer to its maximum.Everything is provided and the location provides the perfect base for exploring the surrounding area.Whilst a car is highly recommended, the local bus service into Weymouth is very good, and from Weymouth, you are able to get buses and trains to various destinations.The house is very comfortable and we would definitely look to return if we come back to Dorset in the future.Highly recommended.
