The property had everything we expected and needed for the holiday to go smoothly. The host was fantastic to assist if/when we needed it. The Heated pool was excellent at 27degrees C.Very Pet friendly with massive secure garden to roam, Loads of secure parking on site. Locked main gate to the property. Air conditioning was well needed on hot days. Very old fastioned interia decor. Local town 5 min drive. Supermarket for all food etc needs 15min drive. Local Resturaunts were fantastic. Very friendly locals but couldnt find anyonbe that spoke English so we had to up our game on our French. Overall would recommend this property for couples, families, or groups of upto 6.

Holiday with 2 teens

Great House and the pool was a bonus. Large garden and very quiet area, yet close enough to Chambord, Ambrose, Blois and the Zoo at Beauval… Great communications with the owner.. Would go again…

We lovely property in a wonderfully quiet and peaceful location. Although you could see the neighbours, as the bushes around the property had died back in the drought, you didn't really hear anything from them.Great communication in advance with a nice information pack. Slight communication issue at check in as Laurent only spoke French and us English with a small amount of French so lots of fun and games with Google translate. Really nice person who was trying to be really helpful explaining everything. I think it would be helpful for him to have some info cards in different languages to explain key things. The pool was lovely with steps leading down into the water, which is about 1.4m meters deep. It was heated however the heating goes off about 3pm, it would benefit especially late in the season with staying on to about 5pm so late afternoon sunshine. The conservatory area was lovely and kept warm well into the evening with the door closed, we spent lots of time in here.Parking for a number of cars with the ability to turn the car round which was good because the enterance is off a narrow track/roadway.Surrounding area is lovely especially the the chateaus, visit Chambord. When coming from Thoury turn off approach round and you find lovely walks to the Chateau along the lake/river. Great for photosOverall we enjoyed our restful break and would recommend the property.

Goed omheind terrein.

The house has everything you need for a family holiday. The pool was delicious and the surrounding countryside was beautiful for walks and cycling and some running. The bakery in the village is very yummy. We loved staying at this house and have many happy mementoes. Thank you Mr and Mrs Charos and Madame Henry.

Lovely quiet place nearly in the middle of the forest. The swimming pool is very welcome.

the swimming pool and the really quiet surrounding is the magic of this place. They also have all the necessary equipment you need today. You can go for a hike directly outside you own gate but there are also plenty of other opportunities in the neighborhood.

We stayed at this property for 2 weeks, welcomed by the house keepers who showed us around and made us feel welcome. We felt relaxed and at home here, property was well equipped swimming was amazing and kept well, the housekeepers popped in to maintain it but never disturbed us. Thankyou for an amazing holiday the time just flew by. A must is to visit the zoo which is about an hour away, best zoo I have ever been too.

Gite in the Loire.

Quiet and pretty location, plenty of parking. House needs a little de cluttering, a little quirky. Not luxurious as described, comfortable, needs a little attention! Lights bulbs, several needed changing, lampshade missing, shower door a little loose. Due to floods in June, many restuarants closed and bakery! Great bistro with fantastic service. Good welcome when we arrived but language was hard as we don't speak French we had to speak to owner on the telephone. Pool a good size, felt the sides of the pool could have been cleaned and garden could do with some love We felt the property maybe over priced as this was not a luxury property as described! Lots of lovely towns with many chateaux's, walks along the river, cycling fantastic! This area had lots to explore, great wine at very reasonable prices.
