This was our second stay at this villa and we love its facilities, location and sea views. The outside kitchen is a great feature as is the deep pool. Super helpful host team.It was perfect for our trip with our grown up ‘children’.

This was a great property! We were very close to the beach and enjoyed our pool time. It’s about a 40 minute walk into old town, which we found to be totally manageable. We really enjoyed our stay!

Villa is very authentic and located in a prime spot and only 5 minute walk from the beach.My main gripe was the lighting around the Villa and especially outside (Once dark the lights did not work so unable to sit outside.The entrance gates were not lit and was dangerous to access as well as the steps from the gate were precarious

Beautiful stay

First time staying at this villa and it was so lovely. The outside kitchen and toilet was spot on, especially with having children. The villa is a stones throw away from the beach. Highly recommend a stay at this villa

Great and cozy house

Great views, beautiful house, wonderful outside area by the swimming pool with all the facilities. We spent there 95% of the day! Definitely we recommend it!

Good time in the Algarve

This property came as advertised. Pictures were accurate. It was generally quiet. Bathrooms, kitchen(s), dining area all functional. The beach is an easy walk to get to. Lagos is a good location to access lots of good hiking and sight seeing.

The villa looks nice but with very old furniture and equipment, the pool area is as described, best in the villa but there's a big problem with the sewage, see below what we've said to the agency and the plumber that came around:We spoke to a plumber who came to the villa, who informed us that your agency is already aware of a problem with the plumbing system in this villa. This was therefore not an unforeseen circumstance.We find it unacceptable that the property is being rented out while such a serious issue was known to exist. It is completely unacceptable, given the amount we have paid, to experience sewage/fecal matter coming up through the shower drain during use.We are requesting that this matter is escalated immediately, as we were dissatisfied with the condition of the property and the impact it had on our stay. In addition, several basic amenities were not functioning properly, including the kettle and toaster, both of which did not work. Overall, our experience so far has been very disappointing, and our holiday was not what we expected or paid for.

For the benefit of future guests, we would like to provide some additional context regarding the points you raised. The kettle was reported as faulty during your stay, and we replaced it with a brand-new one within 24 hours. At the same time, we also provided a new poolside umbrella. Regarding the drainage issue, this is an occasional problem due to the age of the villa, as tree roots can sometimes obstruct the drain. Although the issue was reported late on a Friday, we arranged for it to be cleared the following day, and our housekeeping team then thoroughly cleaned and sanitized the affected area. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience these unexpected maintenance issues caused during your stay. We are committed to responding promptly whenever problems arise and always strive to provide the high standard of accommodation our guests expect and deserve.

Lovely villa

Would highly recommend this quaint villa. Very well furnished and equipped - never had so much crockery! Great outdoor space with outdoor kitchen. Spoilt for choice with where to sit. Nice sized pool. It's down a path and over the road from the long beach. About 20-25 mins walk to the marina, another ten to the old town. 2 min car drive to the marina and supermarket. Only down side is one of the bedrooms is accessed through the second bathroom but that didn't bother us. Hope to return one day. Thanks.

Delightful Villa

We had a wonderful holiday in this very well equipped villa that has everything you need and more!! Management company were very good both before and during our stay with everything ready for our arrival including a cot and high chair for our grandson. My only minor criticisms were that on arrival (Friday afternoon) the gardeners were working and blowing leaves including large palm fronds into the pool....why?? Management company responded very quickly but unfortunately the pool man was not able to come until Wednesday the next week. Spent some time getting most out ourselves!! A word of caution for anyone with mobility problems the entrance via the back stone (rock) steps is quite tricky particularly in the wet or carrying heavy cases. We were told we could not use the steps in the area by the pool which is much safer. I would have given the villa five stars had it not been for the leaves!!

Good spot that could need some upgrades

We stayed for two weeks with two young kids. The agency was always friendly and quick. The location is great, beautiful view and a short walk to to the beach. It was usually quiet except some nights when some folks in the neighborhood partied a bit. Just a couple of things that should be updated: 1. The shades at the balcony had been removed before we arrived which means that after 8am you actually cannot use the balcony due to the intense sun which was sad as the view was beautiful. 2. Some of the bigger pillows at the pool area looked really dirty and not at all something you want to lay yourself down. 3. One bedroom had two mattress that were worn-out so they should be replaced 4. It was ok cleaned but I would recommend to spend 1-2 more cleaning-hours when new guests arrive as we found trash outside in the corners and especially the kitchen needs a bit more focus.

Great location but Villa needs some TLC

We really enjoyed our stay in the villa, the pool is large, the beds are comfortable, and the showers were good. The villa is well equipped with plenty of cutlery and crockery for dining in. However, for us there are quite a few minor issues that took the edge off our stay Our biggest issue is with the pool. There are problems with the pump and underground pipework which means it does not filter properly. We therefore spent a lot of time each day netting out insects, leaves and other debris which should be removed through the pool skimmer. We reported this several times, we were assured the pool would remain safe to swim in but were disappointed to not have the sparkling pool we expected. The steps from the path to the Villa are extremely dangerous as they are uneven with no handrail. We found this difficult with suitcases, shopping, in the dark and with small children There is no shade or umbrella on the balcony overlooking the sea making it too hot to sit out during the day when the view was at its best. There is lots of storage but most drawers were difficult to open and close, also many of the knobs kept falling off in our hands. The wardrobes all smelt damp. Some basic maintenance is required which would greatly improve the overall experience.

Gorgeous villa that could do with some love

This villa is gorgeous and in a great location--the photos don't even do it justice. The pool is beautiful and the views are spectacular; the decorating is charming and warm. The only issue we had was that loads of things were broken or broke whilst we were there, from very gentle use. When we arrived the front gate was broken and clearly had been for awhile; there was a bike lock next to it but that was not in use. This meant we couldn't lock up the villa/pool area properly, though the locks on the villa doors themselves worked. One inside dining chair was broken and set aside when we arrived, the showerhead in one bathroom had come off the wall, and a large awning had come down from the upstairs patio and was thrown in the alley. (It looked like it had been there for awhile.) Knobs popped off drawers we opened as well; it was almost comical. We let the management team know about the gate when we checked in, but didn't hear anything all week. (We didn't really care, we were just letting them know for future guests.) Then a day or so after we left, we got a text saying we'd broken into a linen cupboard and it would cost us £60 to repair, which was pretty strange because we hadn't even known there WAS a linen cupboard. I don't often leave reviews and I've never given a bad one but I thought the response of the property management was a little off, given the state of the place--perhaps trying to get ahead of this review?

The property has a wonderful location close to the lovely I old town of Lagos and with a beautiful beach on the doorstep. The pool is accessible through two of the bedrooms because the house has the main living area upstairs.

Villa war super, Lage top, Ausstattung gut, Nähe zum Strand super. Alles wie beschrieben. 2.Küche außen auch klasse. Kleines Minus: Ameisen. Wir sind nicht zimperlich und im Süden sind Ameisen nicht ungewöhnlich, hier muss man sehr flott mit allen Lebensmitteln sein. Auch wenn die Tierchen nützlich sind, fühlen sie sich in diesem Haus besonders wohl, warum auch immer, evtl. Nest im Haus, darum sollte man sich dringend kümmern! Sonst alles gut.

In die Jahre gekommenen Villa

Wir sind sehr freundlich von Phil empfangen worden. Es wurde sich um kleines Proviant Paket gekümmert, da es einen Feiertag gab. Die Lage ist sehr gut.Nach dem ersten ungepflegten Eindruck im Außenbereich haben wir uns schnell und gerne eingelebt. Mit wenigen Handgriffen könnte das Objekt wieder leuchten.

Tolles Haus, tolle Lage, mit einigen Abstrichen

Das Haus ist sehr toll, und die Lage unschlagbar. in 5 Minuten ist man zu Fuss am Strand "Meia Praia". Allerdings müsste dringend investiert werden, vorallem in den Aussenbereich. Die Liegestühle sind verwittert (und reissen) und die Kissen schimmlig, fleckig und zerrissen. Ums Haus herum sehr ungepflegt, schmutzig.. (Rattenfalle stand da, Kissen alle nass) sehr schade, da es wirklich einladen würde zum draussen verweilen. Auch im Haus war es nicht sehr sauber, nur das nötigste wurde gemacht... (In der einen Dusche läuft das Wasser fast nicht mehr ab, unter dem Bett sehr dreckig und staubig, Nachttische staubig, Kissen zum Teil muffig..) Kommunikation mit Vermieter war auch nicht nur gut, bei Ankunft mussten wir sehr lange warten bis jemand vorbeikam, trotz vorgängiger Information unserer Ankunftszeit. Sehr sehr schade für das tolle Haus, mit wenig Aufwand könnte man extrem viel verbessern... Für uns als Familie war es trotz allem sehr schön, die Lage entschädigt für vieles...

Super Haus - super Lange!

Wir waren zu zweit 10 Tage im Oktober hier und haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt und wunderbar erholt. Das Haus liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Nachbarschaft. Der Strand ist in 5 Minuten zu erreichen - dort gibt es auch in den Dünen Bars/Restaurants - unser Tipp: Gehen Sie ins Berlim! Die Marina von Lagos liegt 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt, ebenso der nächste Supermarkt. Das Haus ist riesig und mit sehr viel Geschirr und sehr schönen Möbeln eingerichtet - eine neue Grillpfanne, die nicht verkratzt ist, könnte nicht schaden. Die Betten sind sehr gemütlich - von hart bis weich gibt es verschiedene Matratzen in den unterschiedlichen Zimmern. Der Außenbereich mit dem tollen Pool hat zahlreiche Liegeplätze und Sitzecken - ob Sonnenbad oder ein Platz im Schatten - alles da. Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur war unkompliziert und es war immer jemand zu erreichen. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen und kommen bestimmt noch einmal wieder.
