Number Ten offers a luxurious self-contained apartment for a weekend or a fortnight - a cosy retreat for a romantic break or a laptop friendly space for work. It’s in a superb location in a trendy part of London for those that want to be ‘out’ as well as ‘in’. Expect a truly 5* stay!
This newly refurbished and well-equipped ‘home from home’ is in the beautiful London suburb of Battersea. Situated in a quiet residential street off the fashionable Northcote Road, there is an array of popular bars and restaurants, a street market and interesting independent stores just a two minute walk away. Number Ten is conveniently located between the green spaces of Clapham Clapham and Wandsworth Common, perfect for a leisurely stroll or outdoor fitness. Sightseeing, shopping, the City and Gatwick Airport are easily accessible for guests to enjoy everything that London has to offer.
An enhanced cleaning regime is in place to minimise health risks.
The apartment Number Ten has a contemporary, boutique style whilst retaining traditional features of the original Victorian residence. The elegant front door leads into a small communal hallway which provides access to the entrance to the apartment. The light-filled private staircase adds space and character linking the entrance on the ground floor, the 1st floor shower room and the top floor which comprises a cosy double bedroom with London rooftop views, an open plan sitting/dining room/kitchen and a separate utility area.

Getting around London Clapham Junction railway station is just a short walk away and offers direct trains to central London throughout the day - no need to plan ahead. Choose between Victoria or Waterloo and take the train into central London in less than 10 minutes.
Alternatively, stroll up to the River Thames and catch the River Bus from Plantation Wharf Pier. The boat stops at many London landmarks including Chelsea, the Houses of Parliament, the Tate Modern, the Millenium Bridge for St. Paul's Cathedral and Tower Bridge. A truly civilised way to experience the heart of London.
Santander Cycles (commonly known as a 'Boris' bikes) can be rented very cheaply from the docking station just around the corner. These are great for exploring Clapham Common and Wandsworth Common nearby, or head into the city centre through Battersea Park.
London has an excellent bus network - pick up an iconic red double decker bus outside the The Northcote, a popular local pub just around the corner.
Getting to the apartment Number Ten is an easy walk from Clapham Junction train station and check in details will be provided to guests in advance.
For those flying into London Gatwick airport, there are direct and inexpensive trains from Gatwick to Clapham Junction with a journey time of approximately 30 minutes.
From London Heathrow, black taxis are readily available or an Uber or minicab can be booked for a direct transfer to Number Ten.

We had a great time at this lovely apartment. We stayed two weeks and had a blast, near many cute restaurants and shops. Trains and tube station was nearby. Bed and linens were very comfy. We made a few meals there and the kitchen everything we needed. Host was great to communicate with and accommodated our request to get there a bit early. Would definitely stay there again.

Great place for a London visit
The space was clean and the location was perfect for food and shopping as well as the train station within a 10 min walk. Would recommend a stay here if you want to enjoy all parts of London!

Location
The apartment is in residential London a block from a street packed with restaurants and food shops. Convenient to tourist London via trains at Clapham Junction. The apartment is well maintained and has modern fixtures.

Clean, well equipped and cosy apartment in a great location.
No.10 was perfect for our 5 day stay in London. It was close to public transit, many shops and restaurants and just a short walk to Clapham Common and Battersea. Charlotte was a great host from start to finish. She was so kind making recommendations for a variety of things. Would definitely return, and highly recommend this property.

Fantastic stay!
A charming, characterful and lovely place in a terrific neighborhood. The area is very alive and dynamic while being away from the extremely crowded parts of central London… more of an urban village. The house itself is on a nice quiet street with easy access to shops and food just around the corner. Buses & trains easily accessible. Exceptional communication with host. Highly recommend!

Very comfortable clean place. Lovely surprise of snacks and cereal, and milk. We had problems with coffee maker and Charlotte was quick to have a new one sent right away. It is close to bus and train. It is also close to a district of bars and restaurants which was alitlle loud on the weekends, but not horrible, we were still able to sleep.
It wasn’t a problem for us but bathroom is 3 flights of stairs from bedroom. I am only mentioning so it is considered if you have mobility problems,
We would certainly stay again.

Family visit
Absolutely everything we had hoped for, just round the corner from Northcote Road with an abundance of cafes and restaurants nearby. Short walk to Clapham Junction to enable you to get anywhere in London. Apartment was beautiful with everything you would need for even a longer stay. Just need to be aware there a few flights of stairs to navigate to get to the Apartment, but that helped with keeping daily exercise up there. Hopefully will get chance to take advantage of this accommodation again

Modern and convenient London bed sitter
Easy access to the West End from a pleasant and lively inner suburb provides an ideal holiday experience at this property.
Northcote which surrounds Clapham Junction overground railway station, is a bustling area of shops, including up-market specialty establishments, and a couple of good pubs. Trains leave for Waterloo and Victoria stations very frequently.
The bedsit in Auckland Road is well-fitted out with most of the kitchen amenities you would need in a combined sitting room and kitchen with comfortable furniture. The adjoining bedroom is spacious enough and the bed comfortable. Downstairs is a bathroom with a very good shower of modern standard European design.
There is also a washing machine with combined dryer, and the wi-fi works very well.

My stay at Number 10 was absolutely lovely. The flat is very comfortable, tastefully decorated and perfectly equipped. The location is perfect, just a few minutes away from Clapham Junction and all the shops and pubs. Charlotte is a very reactive and caring landlady, and I would definitely recommend her lovely accommodation!

I’m looking to move to the area and this place was amazing. Perfect location, great bed and lots of room. Does have a lot of steps so beware of that but I’d definitely stay here again!
