Kent Place is home to the well known and beautiful Kent Steps which have recently been installed with Pugin-style tiles designed by local Secondary School children.
Tucked away from the Harbour Parade, Kent Place is nicely located for anyone looking for a beach holiday with local bars, coffee shops, and restaurants on their doorstep.
Our Guest Folder in the house will be full of recommendations as to where to eat and visit.
Guests will have access to the property via a keypad entry system. Your unique code and check-in instructions will be sent a few days before your arrival.
For bookings of 6 or more guests, or if you require the use of the zip-and-link beds in the basement, you will have access to the entire property. For parties of 4 or fewer guests, the basement bedroom will be locked unless access is specifically requested and arranged in advance.

The top floor features a stylish, open-plan living room and a fully equipped kitchen. The living area is beautifully furnished with a double sofa bed and offers direct access to the terrace. The modern kitchen has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including: Hob and oven Fridge freezer Dishwasher Microwave Washer A coffee bar, free for you to use
The townhouse boasts three luxurious double bedrooms, each with a Smart TV with Freeview and Netflix. Super-fast Wi-Fi is also available throughout the home. Basement Bedroom: A spacious room with a King-size bed (can be set as two singles upon request), an ensuite shower and toilet, and a desk/dressing table. Ground Floor Bedroom: A comfortable double bed with its own private WC. First Floor Bedroom: A lovely double bed with a desk/dressing table, located next to the main family bathroom.
A luxury family bathroom with both a bath and shower, plus a heated towel rail, is located on the first floor.
Local bars and restaurants are pretty much on the doorstep.
It's easy to catch a bus which can take you to neighbouring towns-this is located just on the Harbour.
Ramsgate train station is within close proximity as well as local bus routes into surrounding towns such as Margate and Broadstairs. The bus stop is located on the Harbour and is a 3 minute walk from the house. Driving around Ramsgate and surrounding towns is also very easy. There are also some great Coastal walks for those who are interested. Ramsgate train station = 1.3 miles/7 minutes by car/taxi Broadstairs-7 minutes by car/42 minutes walk (a lovely walk along the cliff tops and through King George V Park) Margate Beach-16 mins by car/taxi Ramsgate Tunnels- 6 minute walk The Grange-16 minute walk
The Property does not have a parking space and does not have access via a road. We would recommend parking in the nearby car park to unload any baggage and then driving to find a longer stay parking spot. We will advise on this upon booking.
As a historic three-storey townhouse, the property has many stairs which connect its unique spaces. We would not recommend this property for anyone who struggles with stairs or who requires wheelchair access.
