Dark Skies is a self contained oasis, located in the heart of town and in close proximity to all amenities.
A place to relax and recharge in style, whilst enjoying everything that Coonabarabran has to offer, with the ease of only being a few steps away from all the main restaurants, parks, pubs, shops and other points of interest.

The Space

Dark Skies is perfect for a couple or family and offers the comfort of reverse cycle air conditioning in the front and back of the home along with pillow topped mattresses and quality 100% cotton linens. The cottage also provides warmth from a gorgeous old fire place.
A selection of teas, coffee, cereals and milk will be provided during your stay.

The home is located close to the Main Street, which made it handy. It’s a lovely cottage with comfortable beds & all the necessities of home.

This is a great area to stay not far to Warrumbungle National Park and make sure you go to white gum lookout such an amazing view. Also Dandry Sandstone Caves just north also great. The house is very roomy too

Perfect bolthole for exploring the area, in comfort and style

This small cottage has everything you need for a comfortable few days in Coonabaraban. It is on a quiet street but just a short walk to the main street, and a good central location to all the attractions of the area.The house itself is well-equipped, welcoming, and cosy. I particularly appreciated the basic supplies that were provided, and being able to do laundry while away. My only regret was not having an extra night or two :)If we ever return to the area, we would very happily stay again in Dark Skies Cottage

Wonderful accommodation

This is my third stay at Dark Skies and the cottage has been kept in immaculate condition with lots of added features. I highly recommend it. Thanks Vanessa for a wonderful place to stay while visiting the Warrumbungles.

Fantastic accommodation in the heart of town

My family and I had a great stay at dark skies. The house is in a great location, easily accessible and has great amenities. The house was exceptionally clean and outfitted with everything you need for your stay, including great resources on things to do in the area. The yard is large and secure so no issues leaving your dog there. Highly recommend this listing to anyone looking for accommodation in Coona.

perfect getaway

Had a wonderful time celebrating our son's 21st on a bush walking holiday. Great base to visit the Warrumbungles. Lovely neat and comfortable home. Close to shops and restaurants. Great experience.

Wonderful stay

Just had a wonderful stay at Dark Skies Cottage. Very well decorated and felt like home. We were all comfortable. Well appointed kitchen with everything we needed for our stay. We will be back again next year!

Winter trip

Our family of 5, including 3 teenagers, loved our short stay at Dark Skies Cottage. The house was beautifully decorated, well equipped and within easy walking distance to cafes, shops and the pub.
