Poderino is a lovely farmhouse located next to the hamlet of Trequanda (at less than one km), immersed in the evocative landscape of Crete Senesi, only few km from southern Siena. Poderino is part of a farm which kept its original architecture. It deals with a welcoming environment for all who seek tranquillity and relax. The luxuriant garden has a large variety of plants and flowers. Lovely olive trees frame the pool although they do not hide the view of the countryside, on the surrounding hills and the beautiful town of Trequanda with its castle, which kept all its medieval charm. From here, you will be able to easily reach and visit the unmissable destinations of Tuscany such as Siena, Montalcino, Pienza, San Quirico d’Orcia, Montepulciano, Cortona, Chiantishire, and the thermal resorts of Rapolano Terme and Bagno Vignoni.
Interior:
The villa develops on two levels, both communicating from inside and outside through sets of stairs. The main entrance on the ground floor opens onto the living room, which communicates on the right with a billiard table room, and on the left with the dining area and the kitchen (next to the pantry - laundry space); a service bathroom completes the floor. The upper floor consists of a study, with direct access to a panoramic terrace, and the sleeping area with one double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with tub and two other double bedrooms (one with divisible beds) which share a bathroom with shower.
Air conditioning only in the bedrooms.
Park:
Inserted within a property of about one hectare, the park of the villa, which is partly fenced, reaches around 2000 sqm and is surrounded by a beautiful countryside landscape. Olive trees, Cypresses and Holm Oaks are present in the lovely park, while in front of the villa, there are plants of lemon, jasmine, and oleander, together with some other flowers in vases. Not far from the main entrance, there is a shady area destined to car parking and also an equipped area for alfresco meals shaded by a sunbed. On the first floor, there is a big panoramic terrace furnished with a sofa and some chairs.
Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.
Swimming Pool:
The panoramic pool, open from the last Saturday of April until the first Saturday of October, is located at about 20 m from the property, and it is reachable through a short walking path in the garden. The rectangular pool, oval-shaped on one side, measures 5x10 m and its depth varies from 1,20 m to 1,85 m. The access to the water is through a ladder. The pool has a chlorine depuration system, as well as an internal lighting system. All around the pool, the solarium area, made of cotto pavement and grass which host tables, sunbeds, sun umbrellas and a cold shower.
Pets: Yes, maximum 2 animals. € 50,00 per animal per week to be paid on site. Acceptance of animals to the facility must be previously authorised by the owner upon communication of the number of animals, size and breed.
