Its terrace and pergola open to uninterrupted views of the antique Italian garden, but trees and hedges hide the gardens from sight, so you’ll feel like the only one for miles as you sink into the pool, or prepare a meal at the al-fresco barbecue.

Though VILLA GIANNA still has its classic tiled roof, stone walls and floors, beamed ceilings, and wide hearth, its furnishings bring the villa comfortably into the modern age. Large bedrooms invite you to linger in while overlooking the charming garden, the dining table has seating for six and there’s even a central counter for amazing cooking classes in the fully equipped spacious kitchen.

The owner of Villa Gianna -who is also a bespoke interior designer- took great care of each details, multiple relaxing areas area the features of his latest creation: each single corner of this manicured garden is a pleasure for eyes. You can choose from sunbathing on a lounger by the pool or linger on a comfortable armchair by the antique gate or under the gazebo by the church.

Set close to all main sights of Tuscany such as Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Pistoia, Montecatini Terme, Cinque Terre and San Gimignano, VILLA GIANNA is located just a short drive outside the hilltop town of Montecarlo, which has medieval roots along with modern amenities such as several groceries selling local harvested fruit, vegetable, cheeses, a wide assortment of shops, wonderful restaurants and many wineries that produce some of the most treasured wines and extra virgin olives oil.
