SOL RIO development is situated in a quiet but convenient location. The many restaurants, cafes, bars and shops are a short stroll away and the well stocked Ping Doce supermarket is a 5 minute walk. The pool and gardens are peaceful and private with stunning views over the estuary towards the beach. Alvor's stunning beach is a leisurely 10 minute stroll away.

This contemporary, air conditioned apartment includes one large bedroom with twin beds and ample storage space. There is a private terrace from the bedroom.

The spacious open plan living area includes a comfortable sofa, dining area with seating for four. There is additional sleeping for 2 in the pull down full size double bed, which easily stores away out of sight when not in use.

The modern, fully equipped kitchen includes dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer, hob and oven allowing easy self catering and the large terrace is ideal for dining al fresco or just enjoying the sunset.

The fully tiled, good size bathroom includes bath with shower over, basin (with storage under) , toilet and bidet. There is an additional separate toilet with basin.

The apartment provides everything needed for a relaxing stay in a perfect location.

There is superb outdoor furniture on the private terrace both for dining and relaxing and additional reserved sunbeds beside the pool, which can be accessed directly from the terrace.

There is underground parking and the development has secured entry.

Lovely spacious modern apartment

We knew the Sol Rio apartments before booking as stayed previously in a different apartment. These apartments are very spacious, clean, silent and conveniently located for Alvor restaurants and beach front area. The apartment has all the relevant amenities and two viewing aspects, the rear being stunning. Stayed New Year 2022/23.

A propriedade e a localização é fantástica. As fotos não fazem justiça ao espaço. Só aquele terraço dá vontade de não sair de casa...A Yasmin mostrou-se sempre disponível para qualquer dúvida.

Wonderful stay. Perfect location

Just returned from 2 weeks at Solrio apartments with my husband and 5 year old son. Booking process very easy and owner Yasmin gave thorough and prompt replies to all of my emails. Yasmin arranged transfers from airport for us with A22 Transfers who provided a car seat for my son and got us swiftly to and from the airport. Met at apartment by Alice who showed us round and answered any questions which was great. Extremely impressed with apartment. Very spacious, modern, comfortable and well equipped. Having the shutters meant our son slept for 12 hours whatever time he went to bed which was amazing! Pool on small side but adequate and very clean. Quite a few children which suited us and never seemed to be too busy. Only a couple of minutes walk to bars restaurants and supermarket. Took us about 15 minutes to walk to the beach. Enjoyed some wonderful meals and cocktails and have already booked to return next year!

Fab stay!!

Just back after a wonderful stay at this fab apartment..from before initial booking right through until we were back home, communication with Yasmin was excellent. The apartment is extremley spacious, and spotlessly clean..lovely little front balcony to enjoy your breakfast in the sun.. And a huge back balcony with table and chairs, sun loungers to enjoy and relax in the afternoon sun with a beautiful view over the estuary..Also a lovely welcome of milk, tea/ coffe &wine.plenty of wardrobe and drawer spaces. All mod cons kitchen.this apt has everything you could possibly need, and location is fantastic. Thank you Yasmin, we thouroughly enjoyed😄 Angela&Pat

Lovely stay in apartment 2B

Thank you to Yasmin and Mo for a fantastic stay in their beautiful apartment in lovely Alvor. It was our first trip to the Algarve and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay with our two daughters who are 11 and 14. The booking process was very easy and Yasmin was extremely quick to respond to any questions. We hired a car from Faro airport and found the apartment easy to find, and underground parking very convenient. The apartment itself was very bright and spacious, was spotlessly clean and had a great outdoor terrace overlooking the garden and pool area. It felt very secure and peaceful. It was only a few minutes walk to lots of nice cafes, small shops and restaurants in Alvor. The ice cream shops are particularly good! :-) Everyone is very welcoming and friendly in the town and Alvor has a great beach and a long board walk for walking, cycling and running. As we had the car we did some exploring - nearby are Lagos (great for boar trips) and Slide and Splash, but there is plenty to do within walking distance of the apartment. We also went to the very nice Acqua shopping centre in Portimao on the one rainy day. We all really enjoyed out holiday and are looking forward to coming again soon!

Late summer break

Just perfect - Extended weekend break at SOLRIO 2b. Beautifully appointed appartment with all amenaties required to make our stay memorable and comfortable. Great property and Location in Alvor

We really enjoy staying in Solrio. The property is modern with excellent facilities and very well equipped. The views to the rear are superb with lovely sunsets. It is within easy walking distance of a well stocked supermarket and all bars and restaurants. We look forward to returning.

Amazing Family holiday at the Solrio

Wow! We had high expectations being regular Alvor visitors and passing the Solrio on our daily visits into town however Solrio, Yasmin, Mo & Alice massively exceeded our expectations and then some! We stayed in apartment 4b and it was huge!! What you don’t see on the photos is the new pull down double bed recently installed in the living room. A fantastic idea and so much better than sleeping on a sofa bed! There are so many positives it’s hard to talk about them all but the cleanliness, the welcome pack, the little extras left by previous visitors including some toiletries, the box of floats, balls and bats etc outside, the tv drawer of English books to read in addition to the massive balcony to the rear and small balcony to the front. By the pool you even have your own 4 x designated sun loungers! We’re really impressed and would urge anyone thinking about this place to book up now! We’re already looking at flights for next year! Thank you!

Very very good

Beautiful apartment with all day sun first on front then after 12 on back terrace until sun down. Everything you need in the apartment and only a stroll into the village and restaurants and bars. Pingo Doce supermarket 3 minute stroll across the road.

Simply the best

We have been visiting Alvor for many years but this is the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. We have been trying to get into Solrio since the apartments were built but couldn't until now because they are so popular. The owners have obviously gone to great lengths to make this a home from home, with everything you could possibly need in a perfect location. The photographs do not reflect the size of the apartment. The huge main terrace is amazing - even in February it's a real sun trap, and so spacious you are spoilt for choice as to where to put your subbed. We only have one problem - once you have stayed here you won't want to stay anywhere else.

Perfect! 10/10

A real gem in Alvor. Solrio is a great complex and this apartment has everything. It was spotlessly clean, well furnished, comfortable beds, great views from the vast main terrace. Everything we needed was provided. The booking process was easy and efficient, the owner even booked our transfers. Service during our stay was great. Will definitely be returning again and again. Have booked for 2019, but would have liked to come back sooner. Would recommend without hesitation.

Location grea

The apartment is in a perfect location near to the town and restaurants, but we had a few minor problems. The shower holder was broken and looked like it had been like this for sometime. Reported the problem to the local agents on our first day, but nothing was done during our stay. Also the tv didn't work not a big issue but should have worked. The amenities are good and no problems there, being a ground floor apartment you can hear your neighbours every footstep above you.

Great location

Just back from this great property. In a great position and view from apartment was great. Met at the apartment by Alice who was very helpful and nothing was to much bother for her. This is our third time to Alva but 1st in these apartment which I will recommend to family and friends with no hesitation . Nice touch with welcome pack. Yasmin the owner was also on hand with any information needed and booked transport from airport which was another great service from our driver Paul who was very knowledgeable about the area. Apartment had everything you would need and more. Hope to say again soon.

Really enjoyed our time in your apartment in Alvor and really was a home from home. Very spacious and the terrace overlooking the pool was lovely. All in all had everything we could have wished for. Very close to town and all the bars and restaurants, 15 minute walk to Alvor's wonderful beaches.

Beautiful views.

Had a wonderful stay, the apartment was well equipped and the beds were extremely comfortable. Our 3yo daughter managed 12hours of sleep each night which is unheard of at home. This views over the estuary are fantastic and we were treated to some lovely sun sets.

Fantastic!

We have stayed in Alvor many times but this is the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. Highly recommend. Close to town centre, bars and restaurants and Pingo supermarket. Fantastic views over the river and direct access to pool and gardens which we enjoyed every day. Can't wait to return
