Casa Caballos on hämmästyttävä makuuhuone, jossa on käsin tehty king-vuode, yksi kylpy casita ja luultavasti upein ulkokalastus, jonka olen nähnyt. Aseta litkin puiden keskelle ja tämän suuren mango-puun alla, Casa Caballosilla on tämän makean veden kanava vieressä.

Siinä on kuningas, nelikulmainen käsintehty sänky ja kolme lasia ja täydellinen kylpyhuone. Se on valmistettu tiilestä ja laitamme muta betoniin tiilen välille. Katolla on laattoja ja mäntyä, joten koko casita on luonnollinen materiaali ja hyvä energia. Se sijaitsee eräänlaisena rantakeskuksen keskustassa. Niin rauhallista.

Ranch on kuin Narnia! Se on rauhallinen ja seesteinen energia, joka tekee kaikista tuntuu olevan osa jotain erityistä. Se on niin hämmästyttävää tutustua hauskanpitoon ja meillä on ystävällinen avoin politiikka asiakkaille, jotta voimme käyttää uima-allasta, tenniskenttää ja kävellä puiden läpi vain tutustumalla. Casitas ovat kaikki noin 50 metrin päässä toisistaan. Ranch ja casitas eivät ole koskaan olleet rahoja. Ranch on ihmisiä, jotka haluavat kokea jotain erityistä. A lovely respite

Despite this being a working organic mango ranch, it is beautifully quiet, with doves and other songbirds in the morning, owls in the evening. Walk to a pristine beach, visit with other guests by the pool, enjoy fabulous food all around you nearby. The owner is very responsive and available. The rescue dogs are an integral part of the goings on; each with its own personality and all friendly.

Wonderful

This was our second stay in TS and throughly enjoyed the solitude and peacefulness the ranch offered. La Cachora is such a cool neighborhood with a short walk to a deserted beach. The restaurants nearby were very good and reasonable and fairly priced. There's no question that we'll be back and the tribe of rescue pups on the property are precious.

What a great surprise! Our stay exceeded expectations. The hosts, both two and four legged, are awesome. Dirk was available to answer all of our questions. Upon arrival, the "Pup Pack" greeted us with excitement and accompanied us to our casita. Our location on the property was very private and simply designed. We loved it! The firepit just off of our porch was a nice touch and we put it to good use. An absolutely beautiful beach is just a 10 minute walk. As others have mentioned, there are two nearby restaurants, Logan & Logan and La Esquina, that have great food. Given the opportunity, we will definitely return. Thank you, Dirk and canine crew.

Love Casa Caballos! Love dogs! Love Ranch!

We travelled to Mexico from Australia for 2 weeks, I chose this ranch for half our stay and I’m so pleased we did!! This Ranch is a very special place. It was our little paradise to come home to after exploring todos santos town, the beaches, the turtle release at sunset and dining out at the many local restaurants. Logan & Logan, La Esquina and 5 Tacos and a beer were our favorite. To stay at this ranch you need your own car. We felt very safe as a mother and daughter travelling together. I highly recommend for those seeking a truly humbling experience in Todos Santos! There is 6 rescue dogs there at present and we honestly felt a bond with them all. Thank you Dirk, Christina, Deisy and the lovely man (who I kept forgetting his name, sorry!). We will be back xx Lisa & Lou xx

Perfection

SCORE! Everything about this place made us feel like the luckiest travelers in Baja. The host went over the top to make sure we had all the information needed for a successful stay. Our casa was very clean & supplied with all the thoughtful extras we wanted. The privacy was ideal for relaxing and just a lovely short walk to the beach. We could hear the waves crashing in between the hooting of the owl pair hanging out in the palm groves. The dogs were such a treat to hang with - we absolutely will be back soon!

3 Night Turned into One

My wife and we’re staying in Todos Santos for a week and decided to stay at Rancho Danza De La Sol for 3 nights. Our decision to stay here was based on the online listing and communication with the owner. We were generously allowed to arrive early and the drive in was nice. That evening we had a lovely fire in the fire pit next to our casa. After retiring for the night we were woken by several mice with sounds as if they were fighting. They ran along the brick walls and scurried into holes. We tried to sleep but at 6:30 am decided to leave. Without getting into to many details, the property looked like it was once a beautiful place with mature trees, a pool , basketball court, fitness equipment and a tennis court. It appears though to have been left to fall into disrepair and is in need of some tlc. The owner seems to be a lovely person who refunded us for the nights we canceled. He explained the the mouse issue was related to cold temperatures and that guests prior to our stay had left food in the room. I hope the future guests have a more pleasant stay.

Peaceful place in a lovely location

This is a rustic accommodation, clean and attractive with a comfortable bed and hot running water set in a palm and mango orchard. The wifi is almost non-existent, which was disappointing since we both use the internet for our work and leisure. The solitude was wonderful as Todos Santos can be very noisy at this time of year. We are elderly and the primitive gate to the property was a nuisance. A more conventional gate would make getting in and out easier. We have been to T S many times and were surprised at the enormous development and gentrification. This place is a reminder of the past and is why we were initially attracted to this Pueblo Magico! A restful stay in beautiful surroundings all in all.

This isn’t a resort….

It is much better… relaxing and private. The property is big with 2 other casas on it but you would never know it. We took advantage of the rooftop at night to look at the stars and listen to the sounds of the town…and to have our coffee in the morning and listen to the birds. There are dogs on the property but they kept to themselves by the big house…. There was a cat that adopted us and was very affectionate and at times demanding… A car is a must to get around… but keep in mind driving in Mexico is an adventure in itself. We enjoy the ruggedness of Todos Santos with lots of great restaurants and beaches for miles… This is our second time in Todos Santos and looking forward to coming back again! Thanks Dirk!

Beautiful stay in paradise

We stayed at Dirks place for 5 days in February and what a wonderful time it was! Beautiful grounds, cozy bed, my favorite kitchen I have ever cooked in, and the best view from the rooftop patio! The surrounding area was incredible, with great restaurants and beaches. We will definitely be staying here again.

Perfect, unique place

After 8 days of traveling Baja Sur, we were delighted to take a 3-day R&R at Danza del Sol. Off a dirt road, on a farm with mango, pistachio, lychee, and palm trees, we felt we had arrived at a mini paradise. A short drive into town, we had the best of both worlds. Todos Santos is an active, artsy town filled with restaurants and shops but we could avoid that scene by choosing one of the close-by excellent restaurants, a supermarket, and a fruit/veg market - all near the ranch. We took a nice walk to a nearly deserted beach (about 15 min). Dirk, the owner, provided us with helpful recommendations and was easy to reach for questions. Our casita had a large veranda with table and chairs and an outdoor kitchen. We didn’t do much cooking but was so nice to have breakfast while hearing birds and relaxing in nature. The “ big house” next door had a fire pit so we met our fellow travelers one evening at a cozy fire. The big house was the only area with reliable internet and is a communal spot for that reason. Definitely a place we’d go to again and a wonderful change from the usual hotel scene.

Take us back!

We loved it here. Dirk was super communicative from the start. Reuben was helpful and kind and patient when we got a little lost upon arrival! Our casa had everything we needed; we used the outdoor kitchen every night and watched the sunset from the roof. We loved the dogs the most. If I could’ve stayed longer just to hang out with the dogs I would’ve! I would definitely recommend having a car for this stay! It’s very close to the beach but would be a trek to get to town.

Amazing sanctuary

This space was such an amazing find. My partner and I ended up booking an extra 5 days here because we just weren’t ready to leave. The dogs are great companions and the farm is close to town and the ocean, yet feels like it’s own little world.

What an enchanting stay this was. Best part . . . the fire in the fire pit under the stars playing ukelele. And thanks for building it up so all that was needed was a match. Oh . . . and the so comfortable bed and the cooing of the mourning doves pretty much all the time. We shall return!

Interesting place to stay

If you are looking for something different, give this property a try. There are several options here. We found it a bit difficult to find (my fault, I didn't have the map) and when we arrived no one was around so we asked some guests at one of the other casa's and she texted Dirk and Ruben met us. Ruben doesn't speak English and we don't speak Spanish so it was an interesting conversation using parts of both languages. Ruben also took us on a tour of the Casa Grand in case we wanted to come back. We enjoyed Casa Caballos and it's quaintness. We found it a bit warm at night and there were a few mosquitos so we didn't leave the doors open more than a crack. Screen doors would be a great addition to this casa. Otherwise we were very comfortable. I loved the outdoor kitchen, it felt like we were camping. . The property is beautiful and the dogs are great hosts. Bobby the big white & brown spotted dog was a bit intimidating at first and stood on our porch and barked at us. He came over with Ruben in the morning and then that was it, Bobby was a big baby, laying on our porch waiting for tummy rubs. Take a bit of time and walk around through the palm orchards. The trees are amazing and the grounds are so neat and tidy. We found the distances greater than listed on the website. It is around a kilometer to the beach but it is a really nice walk or a 2 min drive. La Esquina is the closest restaurant and happy hour is at 5:55 for 2 for 1 drinks. They are open for breakfast, lunch and then the bar opens at 5. It would take at least 30 mins to walk there, or 5 min drive. All in, great place to relax and enjoy some time out of the city.
