Amazing stay in Princetown, Jeanette is very friendly, the property is cosy and has everything you need. Our walk in Dartmoor was marvellous.

Perfect place to stay on the moors

we love Dartmoor and just wanted a couple of nights away, we used to stay when the previous owners owned it, so we decided to go back, it was as beautiful as we remembered, very comfortable, clean and warm.

Great property for our short break

A great place to stay for a quiet break, walking on the moor etc. I did have difficulty contacting host via Vrbo, not the hosts fault.

Excellent priced spacious accommodation

We booked for 3 nights, 2 adults and 2 teenagers. They slept on a very good single and pull out mattress. The room was spacious even with 4 of us.

My wife and I stayed 3 nights and wish we had booked a further 2 days.

The accommodation was great with parking just outside by the granite steps. The bed was very comfortable. Was only a short walk from the Prince of Wales for a meal. A great base to explore Dartmoor. We even ventured into Cornwall. Hope to stay at the Oratory again, we certainly recommend it.

Relaxing, comfy and friendly

Amazing pre visit communication. On arrival, lovely comfy, clean room. Perfect hideaway from the dartmoor rain. Child and dog friendly. Amazing comfy bed, fantastic bath. Also, just a short stroll down to the pub for food and a drink so no worries about driving

Short break in Dartmoor

We have been visiting as a family to have a short break in Dartmoor for many years. Since we discovered The Oratory we never stay anywhere else. There are 3 of us & 2 dogs and it suits us perfectly. I love the fact it’s self contained and who could not fail to love the bathroom!
