A well appointed executive double room with en-suite facilities, all have coloured TV and direct dial telephone facilities, ideal for short breaks or longer stay.
In a Georgian manor house in Mumbles, Norton House Hotel provides comfortable rooms and apartments in South Wales. A 3-minute walk from the promenade and town centre, this elegant hotel has free parking and free Wi-Fi.

All rooms have a TV, telephone and tea and coffee facilities, and family rooms have an additional sofa-bed. There is also a 2-bedroom apartment with its own kitchen facilities and lounge area.

The hotel serves a full Welsh breakfast and a vegetarian breakfast, as well as a continental selection with pastries, cold meats, cheeses and fresh fruit.

The restaurant serves a wide range of lunches and evening meals, plus morning coffee and afternoon tea.

Location, value, a real home from home. Just one recurring crib: Room 4's shower is very poor, water temperature goes from boiling to freezing without warning! This has ben mentioned previously but to no effect.

We did enjoy our three night stay and have been back many times.

The room was very spacious and it was lovely to have dual aspect windows (with a view of the sea). The bed was lovely and comfortable. However, the chest of drawers, which has the kettle and tea making facilities on it, is too high! The chest of drawers does not need to be so big/high and it means that the kettle is rather dangerous and awkward to use being so high up.

Pretty much everything was great thankyou. Staff so helpful and accommodating. The only constructive feedback I can provide is: The cold breakfast buffet was rather cramped, maybe the table at the bottom right hand side could be removed, or set that particular buffet further back in the garden room. That way guests could walk around the table. The Televisions could do with an upgrade to smart tvs. A little fridge in the rooms would also be a real boost.

Another very enjoyable stay - ideal for coeliacs too

One several stays at Norton House. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. As a coeliac (totally gluten free diet) we return to the hotel as I have absolute confidence that my strict requirements are adhered to in the kitchen. Special thanks again to Tracey at breakfast and the Chef, and to the waiting team (especially Arin and his colleagues whose names we can't unfortunately remember). We've already booked another return visit.

Lovely evening and quality food

We were married here this time last year and returned for our anniversary. Staff were very attentive and always smiling. Room was spotless and the evening meal very tasty. Only negative was breakfast was not until 8am by which time we had to check out and get to work.

Very accommodating, booked for 2 nights but ended up staying for 3.

Good position, room 4 lovely room, however you need a degree to keep the shower at optimum temperature and no one told us about pulling the cord by the sink first to activate. Parking, on arrival just before 3 pm, no room due to a function. Maybe if you know you’ve got guests booked for specific days, then parking should be kept for those visitors to use. Not ideal after driving any distance to not be able to find a parking space, that’s was the only down side.
