Very clean, convenient, well stocked and Yvonne is an excellent host!

My Dad, Mom and two teenage daughters just returned from a wonderful trip to London. Yvonne's flat was the PERFECT place for us to stay. The flat itself had plenty of room for the 5 of us and was very clean, well stocked and the location couldn't be beat. It's in an adorable neighborhood with a convenience store, deli, pubs and tube station within a 1 block walk. Very convenient to get into London for the sights everyday/night and plenty of room in the flat to hang out together and talk about all the fabulous sights that we enjoyed each day. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. To top it off, Yvonne was an excellent host and even accommodated us for an extra day when a snowstorm at home delayed our return flight. You will not be disappointed!

Comfortable flat in convenient location

We loved our stay. Neighborhood was charming. Great restaurants and grocery stores easily walkable. Super convenient to be around the corner from the Holland Park Central Line tube stop, and several (double decker) bus stops. We enjoyed close-by attractions - Holland Park and Portobello Road Market. Host was helpful and charming, and responded quickly to our questions. Beds were very comfortable.

Nicely appointed flat near tube station

This was a great accommodation for our family of five. Our three young children were able to share one bedroom while we were in the master. Two bathrooms, each with a shower, we're perfect for our family needs and the kitchen contained all the necessary tools for self catering meals. Looking forward to our next visit!

Fab location, chic, quiet apartment 1 min to tube

We stayed in January 2015 (couldn't put this date in as its taken me way to long to write this review). This place accommodated the 5 of us easily (3 being teenagers).

Loved this place, so chic, so quiet yet so close to transport (literally 1 min walk) and shops. Its clean with modern amenities and warm for that cold January stay. A home away from home.

Yvonne was fabulous to deal with. Dropped us a coffee percolator when asked if there was one and drove us to another apartment she managed when we couldn't extend our stay here (because it was booked out).

Great area, tube is on a central line gets you anywhere in no time. And only 1 stop to Sheppard's Bush Westfield shopping centre which we left to do in the evenings (open til 10pm most nights) after spending the day sight seeing in other parts of London.

Will try stay here next time we come. Thank you again Yvonne

A Wonderful Stay in South Kensington

The property proved to be all as advertised including the one minute walk to the Holland Park underground station. That access to the Tube makes getting around the city very easy. Plenty of room for our family of four. Excellent location with grocery, bakery, coffee shops, restaurants and pubs within 5 minutes walk. We loved the shopping and restaurants at Portabello Road. Lovely neighborhood for walking. Would definitely stay there again and certainly recommend it to friends.

Perfect location, cozy and well appointed apartment

This apartment was perfect for us two couples! We spent five days in London (not enough) and were able to call this home for our stay. This apartment is truly about location, location, location. It is located in the Kensington part of London, about 100 steps from the Holland Park Tube Station. On day one, we purchased the Oyster Card, which allowed us to travel with flexibility on the tube everywhere. The unit is in an older apartment building probably built after WWII, but our landlord, Yvonne has done a marvelous job of modernizing and opening the living area up to make it very comfortable and welcoming. Appliances are all top of the line, there is a working washer and separate dryer and the furnishings and floor coverings all came together to create wonderful memories for my wife and my sister and husband. This is a perfect accommodation for all who want modern, clean, and convenient facilities in their travels.

Holland Park with a restaruant and cafe, it also has a popular Adventure Playground for children, Barnes Wetland Centre for birdwatching and nature walk, Legoland at Windsor, Cycling around the City on a 'Boris bike', Golf at Chiswick, Ice skating in Queensway, Rollerblading in Kensington Gdns/Hyde Park. Horse Riding in 'Rotten Row' Hyde Park from stables in Bayswater, Tennis in all the London Parks, The British Library at Euston, All the London Museums and tourist attractions.. wonderful cafe scene and numerous pubs, good restaraunts - all within walking distance, also Portobello Rd. market at Notting Hill Gate. The 'Oxford Tube', a frequent coach service which runs all day and night - the coach stop is just around the corner, takes you to the university city of Oxford for £20 return.
