Lovely stay at Aldwick

Lovely, cosy room. Spotlessly clean, all well appointed. Fluffy, soft towels and products provided in bathroom. Breakfast was great for us and was fresh and tasty. Would highly recommend.

Lovely stay and vineyard tour

The room was compact but everything was luxurious, lovely toiletries, big fluffy towels and plenty of them, good selection of drinks and biscuits and breakfast to go was really good. Liked the non faffing check in It would of been nice if the bar was open for people staying and maybe bar snacks available, however I know it’s limited accommodation and the amount of people probably wouldn’t justify this However the lady in the bar was lovely and the man on the tour knowledgeable and friendly

Great when you have a late flight into Bristol Airport.

We were able to leave our car here for the week we were away, and then spend the night when our (very late) flight got in before driving back home to Cornwall. The staff were very helpful when booking. The room was perfect for what we needed, and we will undoubtably do the same again if we have another late flight in. I imagine that the available rooms are also useful if you are staying over for an event in their lovely grounds.

A comfortable room in a beautiful location.

Peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Comfortable and well equipped room, although blinds didn’t keep any light out. Exceptionally clean, and breakfast provided was a bonus.

Beautiful location, shame about the room being bathed in light. Needs darker window coverings.

Lovely room and breakfast items supplied was ample. Amazing relaxing location but was unable to sleep once the sun rose due to insufficient window blinds that let the light in. Would recommend to friends if this issue was rectified. No contact with staff but this wasn't an issue as check in and check out was simple. The room had everything you need for your stay.

Amazing beautiful experience and stay

Wow what an outstanding place to stay. We had the vineyard tasting experience with hamper and booked to stay over too. The wine tour was so interesting and Howard so personable you really got the family feel. We decided to keep the hamper for later in the evening and sat with the very delicious wine in the vineyard under a pergola taking in the gorgeous views, we had the weather , it was actually perfect, we watched the sun go down. Room perfect. Maybe needs blackout blinds as sunlight comes in.

A great find

It was perfect, just what we needed whilst in the area at a wedding locally. The bed was comfortable and good quality sheets and towels. Breakfast was more than adequate and with no pressure to be in a restaurant by a certain time. Only one improvement would be to have an arrow or mention of accommodation at the first entrance to the estate pointing to the other entrance as we drove in the first and spend a few moments driving round somewhat puzzled. Otherwise, it was really great, thank you.

The room was immaculately clean, with a lovely ensuite. Perfect for an overnight stay. The breakfast was great too. The view from our room was stunning and it was lovely to have some outside seating to enjoy it.

really cosy room with everything I needed. The breakfast left for me was spot on and set me up for the day. The heating and shower worked a treat and I was grateful for the straightening up of the room before my second night. Huge thanks.

An enjoyable and memorable experience from start to finish

We stayed at the property to enjoy the full experience. The staff were delightful, the tour interesting and informative, the wine definitely ‘quaffable’ the accommodation cute/comfortable/clean and the picnic basket tasty and beautifully presented. We had a relaxing stay and left with happy memories and a better knowledge of wine making. Thank you to all at Aldwick
