Chalet-Salle de bain privée-Vue sur Port

- The double bedroom is compact, with a standard double bed, chest of drawers, built in wardrobe, large mirror, bedside cabinet with bedside lights, panel heater. Please note there is little space to walk around the double bed.

- The twin room has 1 standard single bed and 1 slightly narrower single bed. There is a build in wardrobe, bedside cabinets and a light at each bedside. Mirror, spare blanket and storage for a suitcase under the narrower bed.

Each chalet has a hairdryer and hot water bottle and black out linings on the curtains.

- The toilet has a white suite, pan, sink, bathroom cabinet with mirror and a power shower corner unit (760 x 760 mm) In the cabinet there is facecloths, mini bars of soap and spare toilet rolls. In the shower, shower gel is provided. There is also a second larger mirror, bath mat, heated towel rail, spray air freshener and small bin provided.
- Lounge/dining room. Compact but fully furnished with solid wood dining table/4 chairs, freeview tv (built in dvd) on a shelf, coffee table, mirror, standing lamp and a 3 seater sofa with an extra chair.
- Kitchenette, compact with microwave, full sized cooker, fridge and all crockery and cooking equipment for 4 people, as required to meet 3 stars with Visit Scotland.
- Each chalet will have - cleaning equipment, dish towel, fairy liquid, tin foil, cling film, kitchen roll, soaps, towels and a hairdryer.
Each chalet has 2 bedrooms, 1 twin and 1 double, so sleeps a maximum of 4 people.

The chalets are in a quiet location, each one private, with an onsite laundry room. The chalets are small but fully equipped to have a comfortable stay, ideal for a family holiday or business trip also, with wifi facilities. Graded 3 stars with visit Scotland, they prove popular with regular repeat business.

Next to the chalets is my 1 acre garden, open to the public for charity and also my art studio. Free to chalet visitors.

As we have 9 identical chalets on one site, they are ideal for groups also, and are popular for a whole family to share. It is advisable to have a car to explore Shetland, if not then there is a bus stop nearby.

We found the accommodation to be excellent and located in a good position for exploring the islands

There were 16 of us in 5 chalets. We used What's App to communicate but easy to pop round to the other chalets. Good communication particularly to the south and west. Fine view over Scalloway. Lovely gardens of Sarah to help with the ambiance. We were walking and rock climbing and had good weather for most of our stay and managed to explore many parts of the Shetlands from Sumburgh to Hermaness and Bressay to Eshaness. The chalets are somewhat snug with four people but perfectly OK.

Our stay on the Shetland Isles was amazing, the cabine was a dissapointment though: really backdated

We LOVED the position & view from the cabin, it was really wonderfull as if watching a movie. Lovely garden. The cabine however was very backdated and in much need of improvement, even felt as if it was sloping: a small ball actually rolled down to the windows when checking. A small outdoor space next to the cabine would have been great.The doors wouldn't close or wouldn't stay open if you wanted them. A bit of interest from the owner would have been nice. WiFi was constantly dropping out.

Short break

This was our first visit to Shetland. The property was well located for touring around the mainland and getting to the ferry to other islands. The view from the property was delightful and the site was quiet, well equipped and well organised. The bedrooms in the chalet were very compact (as advertised) but overall the property was perfectly fine for a short break.

Such comfortable accommodation and really well placed for touring the islands.

Beautifully clean, comfortable accommodation with a well equipped kitchen and lots of hot water! There are stunning views across the voe. Easy access to the main roads for touring the islands. The on-site laundry was a real boon, allowing us to pack minimally. A highlight were the 2 Shetland ponies which visited the field next door every evening!

We really enjoyed our time and stay in Shetland. The chalet at Scalloway really suited our needs.

The chalet was comfortable and clean and was ideal for a family with two young children. Sarah was helpful from start and finish and provided some good insight and information about the island. Scalloway is an ideal base to explore the island by car.

As the owner of Easterhoull Chalets , I am very hands on with all aspects of the business and will personally take your booking and prepare the chalet for your arrival, keeping it as easy as possible!

I am also a keen gardener and look after the public gardens in the village fo Scalloway and have build my own hillside garden 100m from the chalets. You are welcome to visit the garden anytime. It is open for charity under Scotlands Gardens.

In addition, I am an artist and sell my artwork online as well as from my work studio, open the the public. I supply local craft shops and have my own website, I have some example of my work in each chalet.
