Kick back and relax in your own peaceful nook after a fun day out enjoying the Southsea seafront. Play a game with your family or slip out and enjoy a glass of wine in the pretty, private garden.

This is a terraced house on the Southsea / Eastney border.A short 10 mins walk takes you to the seafront. It's on the quieter end of the beach, so you can enjoy the seafront with less crowds (or take a walk to the right and end up at South Parade pier and the boardwalk!).

There is great pub just 5 mins walk from the house called Eastney Tavern. This is a great place for a Sunday roast or just a drink and a game of pool.

There are other restaurants and bars on Highland Road, or take a 15 min walk to Albert Road where you can choose from a huge variety of various cuisines as well as independent bars and pubs.

Other places within a 10 min walk are;
• Pitch & Putt
• Canoe Lake & Recreational Park
• Southsea model village
• Portsmouth cricket club

Gunwharf Quays is just a 10 min drive or there are plenty of buses available and you are just a 10 min hovercraft away from Isle of Wight if you fancy a drip trip!

Whole property and garden

This house brings a touch of boutique style to Portsmouth! The open plan living/dining area is a lovely, sociable space as well as a a good place to work from should you need. There is also a smart TV, fast wifi, plenty of storage, books and games for the kids and a DVD player (as well as a sofa bed!)

The bright kitchen has all the cooking amenities you need, including cooking basics such as herbs, oil, salt and pepper etc, as well as utensils, plates/glasses, and cookware. You will also find a washing machine and clothes airer for laundry. Finally, we also provide a High Chair and Travel Cot in the property (in the under stair storage).

The bathroom is on the ground floor just through the kitchen and has a large bath with a shower overhead.

Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms with an adjoining hallway. The master bedroom has a double bed with storage underneath and a clothes rack opposite. The decor and artwork is botique-style and contemporary- complimenting the bright sunny seafront (but also with room darkening blinds should you want to sleep in!) There is also a yoga mat should you want to stretch a bit before heading out to explore. The single bedroom has a sturdy twin bunk beds each with its own night light, a side table, and a clothing rail with hangersin the corner.Both rooms have a hairdryer- and all the rooms have been designed to be as calming and flow as naturally as possible.

Out back is a small but very cute enclosed garden with bistro table and chairs. Catch some sun, enjoy a glass of wine, or play with your pets!

PLEASE NOTE - IF BOOKING FOR 28 DAYS OR MORE A REFUNDABLE DAMAGE DEPOSIT OF £500 WILL BE REQUIRED TO PAY TO THE HOST SEPARATELY & THE CLEANING FEE WILL BE INCREASED TO £110.

Most locations are walkable, but taxis are plentiful and cheap. We also have Uber. There are frequent buses running nearby. The nearest train station is Fratton which is a 20 min walk. If you are driving - you will require visitor's permits, which can be purchased for £3.60 per vehicle, per day via the stripe link which is sent prior to your stay. Parking is hit and miss as Portsmouth is a little overcrowded with vehicles but you will find a space on the main road or in one of the nearby side roads.

The banisters on the stairs have quite a wide gap and would not be suitable for a toddler or very small child to go up and down on their own.

Parking permits are required if you’re travelling by car and can be purchased via the Marketplace in the digital guidebook we send to you before your arrival. This is so you can park on-street during your stay. It is not for a personal parking space.

Please be mindful of quiet hours between 11pm – 8am.

All of our properties are non-smoking as the comfort of our guests is very important to us. If a property has been smoked in we will need to carry out a deep clean to remove the smell which will incur a minimum charge of £100.

For your convenience, we provide a starter supply of essential consumables, including toiletries, toilet rolls, and kitchen basics, to help you settle in comfortably. If you require additional supplies during your stay, we kindly ask that you purchase these as needed.

Very cosy and well located

A very comfortable house that is close to the beach and royal docks. Very clean and close to shops. I’d say the second bedroom is a little small for our larger teens but was a very comfy all the same

Portsmouth Visit

Lovely mid terrace property, clean with facilities to make the stay enjoyable. Small outside area to relax in. A few niggles which I did let them know about. Management company not always quick to reply. The local parking permit actually only operate for 2 hours a day (very odd) so not sure you really need one every day if your out and about. overall a pleasant few days.

Clean cute 2 bedroom property

The property was very clean, with towels bedding, & toiletries provided. Good quality bed and pillows. Nicely freshly decorated. Ideal holiday let. 8 minutes walk to the beach. 10 minute drive to Gunwarf Quays. We had a very comfortable stay. Communication with property company is excellent. Would stay again. Hassle free stay.
