Wangan Tropical Getaway

Wangan Tropical Gateway is a lovely fully-furnished 2 bedroom upstairs unit. Our unit is the perfect point of departure for North QLD adventures: the Tablelands, the Great Barrier Reef, National Parks...and more! A nice afternoon breeze goes through the balcony at the end of the afternoon, to cool the house down for the night. Bedrooms have air conditioners and ceiling fans. 2 bedrooms and one sofa bed in the living room.

There is no cleaning fee added to the nightly price. We'd appreciate that you'd leave the unit at checkout as clean as you found it on check-in.
Used linen and towels shall be taken off the beds and left in a pile at checkout.
Bins under the balcony get picked up Thursdays at noon. If you are there on Wednesday night, we'd appreciate if you could put them out on the street.

Great "Queensland" architecture. Very comfortable spacious house. Glad there was an air conditioner in the bedroom and lots of fans! Good location to experience the nearby attractions; Mamu Skywalk, Paronella Park and Etty Bay beach. Great walks to Nandroya and Tchupala Falls. Very clean except for smudges on the walls in the kitchen. Lots of kitchen utensils, plates, cutlery, etc. Stayed only 3 nights, would like to have stayed longer!

Clean, spacious Queenslander

The house was clean and had plenty of room. The only thing we were surprised about was the noise of the road. Pretty messy downstairs, but we were able to use the washing machine which was a big help.

Charming apartment in perfect position

Charmingly renovated Queenslander with attention to detail. Everything we needed was supplied. We loved the beautifully polished floors and high ceilings. The property was close to Innisfail and to Paronella Park so we went back for the night show. The absolute bonus was being next to the bakery and walking distance to the hotel. Great stay.

Good location; friendly hosts

We stayed for two nights. Wangan is very small with not many amenities but it was a good central place for us to travel to local attractions. The home had all the facilities we needed and the hosts were friendly and helpful.

I use to rent it with full time tenants in the past. I love meeting new people and showcasing our beautiful part of the world, so I thought I list it for a little while and see if guests like it as a point of departure for North QLD adventures.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Great location to explore Mission beach, the Tablelands, Cairns and all Cassowary Coast. Innisfail and Wangan are a little away from the usual tourist tracks which makes your holiday a little more local and authentic, I believe.
