The Courtyard City Haven -Apartamento-Baño privado
The Courtyard is a gorgeous and spacious open plan two bedroom duplex garden apartment with everything you need for a great stay at City Haven Preston. Ideal for business travellers, couples or families who need a quiet retreat but with easy access to the city centre, train station or university UCLAN which are all a 5-10 minute walk away. This large apartment can easily accommodate up to 5 people.
The apartment is set over two floors. The entrance, hallway and first bedroom are on the ground floor. Each bedroom has a super comfortable upholstered double bed, it's own ensuite bathroom and a separate dressing/study area with desk and chair. There is an internal stairway leading down to the fabulous open plan living area, second bedroom and private access to the courtyard.
The lounge is stylish and spacious with comfortable seating including a large corner sofa and a 43 inch smart tv for you to enjoy movies or catch up programs. We can set up an extra bed here if required.
The modern fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to make a quick or family meal and comes complete with cooker, oven, two fridges each with a small freezer compartment, toaster and microwave. There is a large washer-dryer for all your daily laundry needs. The large breakfast bar is great for gathering around and overlooks the courtyard - a private enclosed space just for the sole use of our guests.

We operate a Strict No Smoking Policy anywhere inside the apartment, gardens or front entrance steps of the building including Vapes and E-cigarettes.
No candles inside the apartment.
No parties or events
You must not trade or run a business from this apartment
Unregistered guests are not allowed into the building nor are they permitted to stay overnight without our prior knowledge.
Any keys lost or not returned at the end of your stay will be charged for.
City Haven has 4 beautifully stylish and comfortable one and two bedroom apartments set in a converted Victorian town house with high ceilings and large windows in Preston's central Fishergate Hill Conservation area. A little gem of a place centrally located yet tucked quietly away from the hustle bustle of the city centre with all it’s amenities, shops, cafes, bars and restaurants only a stone’s throw away. A home away from home experience for guests wanting more than just a hotel room with private laundry and cooking facilities.
Our modern apartments are bright and airy and have been carefully thought out to make your stay as comfortable and feel as much like home as possible. Kitchens come fully equipped with everything you need to prepare a quick or more elaborate meal. We provide complimentary tea and coffee as part of our welcome pack, premium organic toiletries and there is a washer dryer (including detergent) for your laundry needs. All our beds have luxury pocket sprung mattresses for a really good night’s sleep and our guests also enjoy free high speed WiFi to stream and watch movies and catch up programs on our smart TVs.
For longer stays of two weeks or more we provide complimentary weekly housekeeping with fresh bedding and towels and the services of a dedicated guest manager.
There is free street parking directly outside the property on a first come first served basis if you are travelling by car. We are situated in a small cul-de-sac and parking is shared with local residents and therefore may get busy in the evenings so we advise to arrive before 3.30pm. There is also parking on West Cliff Street but please check the signs to ensure you do not park on resident permit bays or during restricted hours.
Preston Railway Station is just an easy 5 minutes walk on the flat along Fishergate Hill. The university, UCLAN, is 10 minutes by foot.

Very comfortable and convenient
Nice, clean, well equipped and spacious apartment. Loved the upgrade. Excellent communication from the hosts making sure we were well looked after.

What a lovely place.
Four of us stayed in the Courtyard double flat for four nights and it was fab. Extremely convenient location for the train station and the city centre, but also for getting in and out of Preston by car. Check-in/out communication from Lisa by email and text was welcoming, extensive and easy follow. The flat was immaculately clean. Very well laid out with great kitchen facilities. Great bathrooms. Very very quiet for our whole stay. I'd happily stay there again.

Disappointed with the overall worn out and in need of repair conditions, in particular the bathrooms
Convenient location. Spacious accommodation, comfy beds, nice linens and toiletries. Bad start with key lock box jammed and requiring significant brute force to open. Dangerous loose stair carpet, tripping hazard between lounge and kitchen (edging strip not held on by Sellotape), mouldy bathrooms and showers (inside and out), leaking shower, broken toilet cistern lid, rusty radiators, outside space was weedy and dirty. Sofa and bar stool stained and in need of cleaning. Floor edging trim bad.
