A one bedroom mezzanine with spacious en-suite showeroom. Including private terrace and parking, well equipped kitchen and open plan living.
Beaulieu Gites are surrounded by vineyards, ancient woodland and even a Tor. Nestled between Villefranche de Lonchat and Monpeyroux, with Bordeaux and Bergerac being less than an hour's drive away.
Our two Gites are ideal for couples that wish to get away from the hustle and bustle of life to experience peace and tranquillity.
Each Gite contains a mezzanine bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, Linen, bath and pool towels supplied. A spacious open plan living area, stereo centre with bluetooth docking, well equipped kitchen, a nespresso coffee machine, a complimentary bottle of wine, free Wi-Fi and a private terrace that leads out onto acres of beautiful countryside which is briefly interrupted by a stunning pool (10 metres by 5 metres in size) and lounge area.
For nature lovers and artists alike we have 2 natural Ponds that are spring fed. Teaming with wildlife such as Kingfishers, Terrapins, Dragonflies, Butterflies, Moorhens and much, much more.
Should you wish to venture out and discover the local area you will find some of the best day and night markets, vineyards, brocantes and history that France has to offer!

Such a great find. Bibi is a brilliant host, her gites are in excellent condition and well equipped. The outside pool area is well maintained and perfect place to relax.

Wonderful place

We returned to this property as we immensely enjoyed staying here last year. Once again the property owner was very nice and very helpful. The gite is wonderful and we were very pleased to have stayed here again.

Perfect relaxing break

The property was exactly as described, well presented and very clean. The swimming pool was excellent. Bibi was friendly, informative and very helpful - a perfect owner. The area was ideal for a relaxing holiday.

Wonderfull vacatios!!!!

As last year, we have had wonderfull vacations and plan to come back next year. Pool and house exactly ad we expect and the owner BIBI very friendly. We love her three dogs ziggy, obi and seven! Idealy placed between St emilion and bergera.

A wonderful stay

This is the second time we've stayed in this wonderful gite, which is aptly named: a quiet, clean, carefully and lovingly designed apartment where you can feel at home - plus a beautiful pool and enchanting green surroundings. And all this is made possible by a friendly and discreet but always approachable hostess who has created this little paradise with a lot of love. A wonderful place full of beautiful atmosphere! Whatever you need for a wonderful stay in the Dordogne you will find it at Beaulieu. Bibi has thought of pretty much everything but, if you need something more, she will do her best to provide it. Beautifully renovated, spotlessly clean, well equipped. The pool and poolside area are lovely, the extensive grounds well kept and peaceful. We particularly appreciated the super kingsize bed. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend this property.

Thank you to our lovely host, Bibi for a very comfortable stay. Very relaxing and peaceful surroundings in a beautiful part of France.Very pretty rural area with lots of interesting wildlife, especially the family of deer that made regular visits in the surrounding fields.Really impressive pool area with plenty of quality seating and very well kept. Lovely shaded pergola area if you want to stay out of the sun but enjoy the crystal blue waters of the pool.Gite was very well equipped. From everything we needed to make a meal in the kitchen, to multiple methods of making a good cup of coffee. Plenty of storage throughout the property, especially for personal belongings upstairs to fully unpack and live in a home away from home.The host, Bibi, is very discreet but welcoming and accessible when needed, we had some lovely chats and Bibi provided some useful suggestions for things to see and do locally. The property and surrounding gardens are very well maintained and the pool is heated and maintained daily.In summary, appreciated the accurate listing which meant it was exactly as expected when we arrived. Will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommended for a couples getaway.

A hidden gem!

My husband and I drove from Calais via Le Mans to this beautiful getaway . Bibi and Fin were perfect hosts who exceeded our expectations with the cottage. It was immaculately clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The area is tranquil with birds, butterflies and bees to spot. Their dogs zigi and Seven were absolutely adorable, keeping us company by the pool on numerous occasions (always a wag of the tail on greeting us). The bed was extremely comfortable, plenty of books to read and board games to play. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay. The Burbidges :-)

De merveilleuses vacances

Lorsque nous avons quitté Bibi, nous avons eu du mal a retenir nos larmes. Nos meilleurs vacances depuis plusieurs années. J'ai choisi le gîte de Bibi car il y avait de très jolies photos. Sur place, c'est l'effet "wahou", bien mieux qu'en photo. Nous reviendrons voir Bibi, c'est une promesse que nous tiendrons avec plaisirs!

Buitengewoon mooie en fijne accommodatie

Wat een geweldige plek!! Zoveel rust en sereniteit. Je kunt er helemaal opladen. Het huisje was super schoon en voorzien van alle gemakken. Aan alles is gedacht en je komt als gast niets te kort. Eigenaresse Bibi is een geweldige vrouw die altijd klaar staat en erg haar best doet alles zo goed mogelijk te regelen voor haar gasten. Seven, obi en Ziggy zijn geweldig! Drie schatten van honden die zo nu en dan gezellig komen kroelen en of even komen kijken. In de omgeving kun je veel verschillende uitjes ondernemen. We kunnen deze prachtige plek alleen maar aanbevelen. 5 sterren is eigenlijk nog te weinig als je het ons vraagt.

A wonderful stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay in this spacious gite of understated elegance, in a very peaceful rural area, just east of Bordeaux. The pool area is the perfect place to relax. Bibi was a great host, and we loved her three dogs Seven, Ziggi & Obi. We would love to return . We highly recommend this listing.

Fantastic Rural Retreat

We enjoyed a great stay in this lovely, well equipped, gite. The pool area has recently been refurbished and it was the perfect place to cool off in the heat. The setting is idyllic and Bibi was a fantastic host. We made good friends with the dogs Seven, Ziggi & Obi! Would love return at somepoint.

The gite overlooking the pool is fabulous and the surrounding area is so idyllic. It was very clean and spacious. We stayed for a week and would love to return. Bibi is a great host. Highly recommended

Ein traumhafter Urlaub

Ein ganz wunderbarer Ort, um ruhige Tage zu verbringen, zugleich günstig gelegen. Das Gîte ist ausgesprochen geschmackvoll und umfassend eingerichtet, alles in tadellosem und sauberen Zustand, ein großzügiger Pool in einem wunderschönenen Ambiente. Die Vermieterin ist umsichtig, die richtige Balance aus Präsenz und Zurückhaltung, das ganze gepaart mit viel Herzlichkeit. Nicht zu vergessen die beiden Hunde Ziggy und Seven. Eine wirkliche Empfehlöung wert!

Lovely Quiet cottage

We had a quiet and peaceful stay in this lovely cottage, Gite 2 Valley View. It is very spacious and ideal for a couple. The mezzanine bedroom area is also spacious and has a large en-suite bathroom. The bed is large and very comfortable with lovely bedclothes. There is an excellent high-speed wi-fi service. The kitchen is very well equipped and had everything we needed, including a kettle and teapot which are frequently missing in French Gites. We stayed in April when the weather was not suitable for using the swimming pool but was a lovely place to sit and enjoy the occasional sunshine that came. I'm sure it would be great in warmer weather. Our host, Bibi, was very welcoming and helpful and we also enjoy the occasional visits from their two friendly dogs. There is a lovely restaurant, "L'un des sens", in the nearby town which served the most delicious soufflee for dessert: don't miss that treat. The whole meal was excellent.

Tolle Unterkunft mit viel Charme und hoher Qualität für erholsame Tage

Wir haben hier wunderschöne 2 Wochen verbracht. Die Bilder entsprechen ausnahmslos der Realität. Die Ausstattung ist hochwertig – und insbesondere in der Küche überdurchschnittlich vollständig. Es gibt auch einen kleinen Kohlegrill von Weber für nette Grillabende. Selbst wer gerne und viel kocht wird hier nichts vermissen. Auch nicht selbstverständlich in Ferienhäusern: Ein wirklich gutes Bett bzw. Matratze. Der Pool wurde jeden Tag sauber gemacht. Das Haus war überdurchschittlich sauber - was bekanntlich auf dem Land gar nicht so einfach ist. Die Gastgeber sind sehr gastfreundlich, präsent wenn man sie braucht und zurückhaltend bis unsichtbar, wenn man ungestört sein möchte. Zum Empfang gab es zwei leckere Flaschen Wein von einem der lokalen Winzer geschenkt. Im nahegelegen Ort kann man für das Frühstück einkaufen oder abends in einem guten Restaurant Essen gehen. Am See in der Nähe kann man recht gut joggen oder auch einen kleinen und ruhigen Sandstrand genießen.

gewoon super! vijf sterren cottage, ik kan niets bedenken dat ontbreekt

we werden hartelijk ontvangen en elke vraag werd meteen en met plezier behandeld, Bibi is de perfecte gastvrouw. Het domein waarop de gite ligt is fantastisch, een heerlijk zwembad, mooi terras, gezellige, zeer comfortabele gite, een droomvakantie! De rust die we zochten was perfect gegarandeerd!

A little haven.

It was an absolute delight to have been able to spend time in such a well maintained haven of tranquility but yet be within such easy reach of so many interesting places. The accommodation had everythng we could possibly need during our holiday with a really well equipped kitchen. Bibbi and Finn, our hosts, also live on site but strike the perfect balance in that they are always available for help or advice if needed but otherwise we were left to enjoy the privacy of our accommodation. The Friday Night Market during July and August in Villefranche de Lonchat ( 5 mins drive) was such a lovely occasion, enjoyed by tourists and locals alike. All in all the perfect place for a relaxing holiday.
