All okay very difficult to find how the key box worked I think that should have been explained a bit better. If it hadn’t been for a very kind taxi driver not sure what we would have done. Also it would be an idea to supply a further settee as only four can sit unless you sit on the upright dinner chairs. And the closest beach is a very steep slop and not big. The next beach is really taken over by tu customers. Didn’t realise the complex was so close. Also really you need a car. Which we didn’t want. But the villa itself is perfect. Clean and tidy.

Wonderful stay

Our family had a very enjoyable stay at Villa Almira. The house was clean, spacious and well equipped, in a quiet spot a very short walk away from the beach, shops and restaurants in the charming village of Panormos. Would highly recommend!

Villa Almira was a fabulous location for a family holiday. The villa, gardens and pool are excellent and it is only a short walk into the beautiful village of Panormos with some fantastic tavernas, shops and restaurants. We cannot recommend Villa Alimra highly enough!

I would like to begin my review of Villa Almira by praising the first class service provided by the Agni Travel Team. We received prompt responses to all our queries so a big Thankyou. The Villa location is fantastic, lovely views out to sea and across to hills without being overlooked. Loved the garden and the 5 minute walk to shops, beach and local tavernas. The beach was not overcrowded and I thought the 7 Euro cost for 2x beds and parasol was a fair price. Would recommend a trip to Rethymno if you have time. Would definitely recommend this property and would have no reservations coming here again.

A great place to stay

The Villa is well appointed and central for access to the east and west coasts of Crete. We enjoyed the pool and closeness of the small village and local taverna.

Absolutely amazing property, beautiful area. Only slight complaint was the hard mattresses on the twin beds, not very comfortable. Overall we loved it and would 100% stay again

Beautiful property

Had a fantastic couple of weeks here. Lovely property with views of the sea and sunset. Slightly out of the town, but in reality a short walk to restaurants and local supermarket. Couldn’t fault in any way.

Fantastische villa, inrichting heerlijk en fijn zwembad

Geweldige villa op een rustige plek, vlak bij zee. Op loopafstand dorp en strand. Heerlijke inrichting met elementen van zee en strand (drijfhout, stenen, schelpen), grote woonkamer/keuken, drie slaapkamers met elk eigen badkamer. Heel mooi prive zwembad. Kortom, TOP.

The Villa was wonderfully positioned, it was clean and spacious. The garden and pool area were great and the sea views were fabulous. It was within easy access to the beach and a lovely little village. I would certainly recommend it and would like to return.

Villa Almira, Panormos

Lovely Villa, well equiped with great sea views which I never got bored of whilst having my morning coffee. Panormos itself has plenty of Restaurants within a ten minute walk, and is also walkable to the beach. We hired a car and could explore the other larger towns, but it is not essential. However I would recommend some time in Chania if you are leaving from that airport, lovely seaside harbour and old town.

Beautiful home overlooking the ocean

Loved this house. Very comfortable for a family of 4. We especially loved having the pool in the back yard after a day of sightseeing to just relax & have a glass of wine. We highly recommend this house!

We had the most amazing time in this villa! The villa and surroundings are exactly as seen in the photos and even exceeded the high expectations we had before planning our holiday. The property felt very secluded and quiet. The property was also well maintained and clean. The nearest beach, which is very close, is absolutely beautiful and was perfect for long walks, swimming, and snorkeling. The villa itself has a grand feel while still being very comfortable. It had everything you would need and more. The kitchen was fully equipped and we used the barbecue most of the time. As we went out and explored the island and beaches almost every day, the location was perfect as it put us in close proximity to everything. The agents and staff of Agni were very nice and helpful and helped us with everything during the whole process. If youd like to enjoy some peace and quiet with warm sun and beautiful waters, this is the place to go! We are already planning our next trip to Crete and would definitely recommend Villa Almira!

This villa is set in an absolutely beautiful location right to the sea. The location is very quiet and private and you are not overlooked. All the bedrooms, the kitchen/dining room, lounge, and other amenities were just perfect. The villa itself has everything you need for a relaxing getaway holiday. We have visited many different villas in Crete over the past 10 years but the Villa Almira is definitely the best. We have already booked for July and September next year. There are several restaurants, tavernas, and bars nearby (within walking distance). Also, near to other local shops and a bakery for day-to-day supplies and close to Bali and Rethymno. You need only a 15-20 minute drive to Rethymno and to a wide selection of bars, cafes restaurants, and shops. Great holiday at Villa Almira. Do not hesitate to book this place and villa. Would highly recommend it to everybody (couples, families, retirees...)

We were stunned by just how handsome Villa Almira actually is, it looked amazing in the photos but its even better when you see it on the spot. This villa definitely deserves a 5 stars rating. We actually couldnt wait until the sun started to set as the moonlight made the villa and pool feel so atmospheric. The villa was perfect for our stay it is very well equipped was spotlessly clean and has all the home comforts (dishwasher, washing machine, good water pressure, no shortage of hot water) which you sometimes miss in self-catering accommodation. Outside a spacious and comfortable terrace with a great maintained garden and also a nice pool area with sunbeds just a few steps from an amazing beach. We will definitely miss the amazing sea views and gorgeous sunsets from the upper terrace where we mostly enjoyed our evening family gatherings. Overall it couldnt be a better place we had chosen for our vacation. A perfect heaven for a quiet and relaxing family holiday.
