Our stay at Villa Amalia was perfect! It was clean, beautiful, had an excellent view, and the pool/maintenance staff was so helpful! We would highly recommend this vacation home to other families!

Beautiful Villa!

We loved our stay at Villa Amalia! It was just as pictured and the views were amazing!! Communication was spot on! The location in Nisaki was perfect and we would definitely stay again! The only suggestion I would make is to have a little starter pack of paper towels, more toilet paper and maybe some beach towels but everything you need is very close and can be bought easily. The owners were also kind enough to pick up some groceries for us before we came so that was very helpful! Overall excellent!

Fantastic view

Fantastic view. Really helpful pool man. Villa comfortable but tired and in need of updating. Eg, tv not working, kitchen utensils fairly basic, showers could co with modernising. Having said all that, communication with utilities manager was first class and it was good value for money.

Gorgeous views!

A little difficult to drive up to, but the views are spectacular and the property owner was very friendly, we had a broken window from a storm and he came out and repaired it promptly. He was also there to clean the pool on a regular basis. AC works great.

Villa Amalia

Villa was nice and clean and the pool was really lovely. The views from the pool and the rest of the villa were spectacular . The air con was a blessing as it was in the mid 30s every day . The kitchen was a bit dated but perfectly usable. The beaches were great with crystal waters( you might want to get beach shoes if you have sensitive feet as the beaches are mostly pebbles) All in all we had a highly enjoyable and relaxing time at villa Amalia .

Fabulous relaxing family holiday villa and location

We have teenagers (14 & 17) and this was a great villa for us. There are spectacular views from the different sitting areas inside and outside of the property. Enjoying morning coffee on the sunny patio while looking out on the Corfu Bay Area (while the teenagers grabbed their extra sleep) was a real bonus. We had a huge amount of enjoyment from the pool (we took a few inflatables/pool toys as there aren’t any at the property) but we also loved going to the Nisaki beach area to swim (small but clean pebble beach) or have food/drink in the beach bar and tavernas. We hired a speed boat from Nisaki on one day to see the island (we used “Danny’s”) and we also used the local scuba dive company (Apollo) for a beginners dive - would recommend both. A car was really useful to get to the local bakery and supermarkets. As we had it we often used it to drive to (saving a ~10min walk for us) and from (a longer walk as it’s definitely uphill) the beach - especially on really hot days! We also drove to Corfu old town. The VRBO listing could be improved to clarify that the upstairs area includes the main apartment (2 bedrooms/bathrooms/kitchen/dining/sitting) but with the additional suite accessible via an external staircase (this has been recently modernised to a lovely standard with a great en-suite bathroom). This layout worked great for us but might need thinking about for different age kids.

Needs a renovation!!

We were very disappointed. First, you are only allowed to check in 6.30 pm, although you pay for the whole day of course. The Villa itself has a very old, sticky, outdated interior. The kitchen is badly equipped, not enough cutlery, no scissor. In the bathroom, no proper toilet seats, fixing of toilet paper dangling from the wall. Insects in the toilet bowl. We only used the kitchen and the living room for breakfast. Electricity is not working properly, because the keycard you have to insert, is worn out. So electricity goes on and off. However, there is one modern, newly renovated bedroom downstairs by the Pool with a good bathroom. And the pool and the view are very nice. However, we would not book again. The house really needs a modernization to justify the amount of money you pay. You simply don‘t feel welcome or at home.

La proximité de cette villa est ideale pour visiter tout le nord jusqu'au centre de l'île. La vue de cette villa est à couper le souffle, un dépaysement total et absolu..... Un service au top; avec la dame du ménage qui passe tout les 4 jours ( piur changer la literie, linge de bain......), le pisciniste qui passe tout les jours, la petite voisine agée qui veille au bon deroulement du séjour et qui arrose les plantes. Nous avons été choyés. Le proprietaire a etait tres réactive lorsque nous avions besoin. Merci pour votre acceuil.

Geweldige locatie. Als je niet in de drukte van de grotere badplaatsen houd is Nisaki een super locatie. Leuke klein strandje bij de haven. Ook Barbati is een aanrader Lovely host, we hadden wat kleine probleempjes met het water en die werden snel en direct opgelost.

The Villa Amalia is perfect for a group of friends or a family. You have a great sea view and a nice place to relax at the pool. There is anything you need in the kitchen. I recommend to get a car for your stay. Beach and supermarket are about 15 minutes away but it can be a little bit exhausting to get up the hill again. Taxi from airport to Nisaki is about 50 to 60 (3p max) .

The Villa Amalia was great, right what we expected. All in all a very nice and relaxing holiday. If you are looking for a quiet restful holiday in a private villa with perfect sea views then this is the place for you! It really was a great stay, lovely to be able to stay somewhere so nice and comfortable. Great relaxed holiday at a nice quiet location. Nice terrace and pool, we enjoyed relaxing there during the whole day and waited the moment to see the most beautiful sunset views. While there we took several trips to fab beaches near Viglatsouri (Nissaki Beach and Barbati Beach). Nice quality time spend there: tasting local food, wine tasting, swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling, etc.

We had the most amazing time in Villa Amalia! The villa and surroundings are exactly as seen in the photos and even exceeded the high expectations we had going before arriving there. Perfect location even perfect sea views! The property was also well maintained and clean. The nearest beach (Nissaki Beach), is absolutely beautiful and was perfect for long walks, swimming, and snorkeling. The villa had everything you would need and more. The kitchen was fully equipped and we used the barbecue most of the time. As we went out and explored the island and beaches almost every day, the location was perfect as it put us near to everything. The agents and staff of Agni were very nice and helpful and helped us with everything during the whole process. If youd like to enjoy some peace with warm sun and beautiful waters, this is the place to go! We are already planning our next trip to Corfu and highly recommend Villa Amalia!

If you are looking for a quiet restful holiday in a private villa with perfect sea views then this is the place for you! It really was a great stay, lovely to be able to stay somewhere so nice and comfortable. Great relaxed holiday at a nice quiet location, with perfect SEA VIEWS. Nice terrace and pool, we enjoyed relaxing there during the whole day and waited the moment to see the most beautiful sunset views from there. The location is also excellent for exploring other places and the local area. Within only a 10-15 minute drive you are at Kalami and Kassiopi, where you can enjoy their local amenities, beaches, shops, restaurants... We tried great Greek specialties (Souvlaki, Moussaka, Koulouri...) there. Most of our time we spend at Nissaki and Barbati beach entraining ourselves with different activities: relaxing, sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling, etc. All in all an excellent place and villa which we can highly recommend.

The location, size, and layout of the villa were perfect for me, my wife, and 2 teenage boys. We had a wonderful experience and would suggest it to anyone. Overall this villa is comfortable and bright. Clean and in a dream setting, at the tip of the island in front of the sea and nearby the most beautiful coves of the island.

We have just returned from the most amazing holiday at Villa Amalia in Nissaki. The villa is lovely and clean and has everything you need. The pool is clean and a lovely size to lounge around in. The view from the balcony and the pool is absolutely amazing - clear views of the sea and Corfu town in the distance - a view you will never get tired of. Nissaki has lovely restaurants and a great boat hire place where you can hire a small motor boat for the day. We had such an amazing day exploring the coast line down to Kassiopi and stopping at deserted inlets to swim. Ipsos also has a lovely beach and friendly restaurants for a day out. I would thoroughly recommend this villa for a relaxing holiday. Villa Amalia surpassed our expectations!
