Lovely stay at Villa Popi

Just as we had imagined it from the information we read. Lovely and quiet, great pool to relax in, BBQ was lovely in the evening and Tavernas a short distance away. Visited some lovely beaches but needed a car to do so.

Lovely villa in a great location. The pool area was really comfortable and saw sun all day. The town and beach was only a 15 min walk away but it was far enough out to be peaceful. Most tavernas will let you use their sunbeds for free if you’re ordering food and/or drinks which was a real plus. Roda town is lovely with loads of bars and tavernas. We would definitely come back.

Excellent holiday

Lovely villa, beautiful pool, we had a very relaxing holiday, easy to get to shops and restaurants, would highly recommend to anyone and we would definitely love to go back again. Thank you to George and his wife for all their help too.

Villa Poppi

Lovely villa and ideal for family of 4. Outside area was a plus with a really good sized pool. Good facilities inside and the uk channels on the TV was a bonus. We did have a car but walk to Roda beachfront and restaurants was straightforward and only about 15 min walk.

We had a really relaxing week at Villa Popi, which is a little off the beaten path and therefore peaceful. Pool was perfect size for us to all enjoy and the villa was reasonably equipped (another chopping board and small frying pan would have been spot on). TV is set up to download current movies which was a bonus. Ac in the living room was iffy but we didn't use it much as were out and about but those in the bedrooms worked well. I'd recommend a car unless you don't mind the more touristy places to eat - can highly recommend Taverna George 12mins drive from the villa. Overall a fab stay.

Beautiful villa in a fantastic location

I cannot fault Villa Popi and would book again! From the ease of access to it feeling like a home from home everything was exactly as described. Roda is a beautiful location, with great beach and restaurants, it is walking distance from the villa, but we chose to drive as parking was easy enough (there is free parking right by where the horses are) We also went int Sidari a couple of times (less than 15 minute drive and you can jump of the cliffs into the sea) and to Kassopi for dinner twice (beautiful harbour vibes again only a 20 minute drive and easy to park) We absolutely loved the villa, it had everything we needed with the outside space being spot of for privacy and family time I cannot fault the villa, area or George who is available for any questions and just a phone call away Would highly recommend

Perfect location!

We arrived at the villa quite late and it was nice that all of the check in instructions where how they had said they would be. The villa was lovely and spacious, both bedrooms had plenty of wardrobe and draw space and there was a lovely spacious bathroom in the middle of both bedrooms. It was also very clean and felt homely straight away. We had a bit of an issue with the TV (our teenagers wanting to watch something ha ha) but George soon came over and fixed it for us. He was lovely and told us about some local events that were happening and suggested some nice restaurants to try. The pool was amazing, it had the sun on it all day, but there was plenty and shade around the pool. The location of the villa was great, just a short walk into Roda and just a short drive into the next resort of Acharavi. Thank you to George and his family for a lovely stay and we would definitely go back.

Idyllic Hideaway

Villa Popi is a wonderful home to stay in. We felt totally relaxed and recharge our batteries. The villa has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. George and his family made us feel so welcomed we wanted to stay forever. Corfu is a must for anyone who wants to chill out and still enjoy the many attractions. Which there are plenty. Recomend you hire a car so you can explore this wonderful island.

We'll be back!

We were a bit apprehensive after having a bitter experience with Agni travel over their cancellation policy if we were unable to travel which was not as promised. Luckily we were able to travel and it was wonderful! We arrived at the property earlier than expected but there was someone on site who let us in straight away! I'll get the small negative issues out of the way first..... There was a small issue with a broken draw which was raised with George (who I think was the caretaker) who promised to fix it the next day but never came back so it lived on the floor for the next 10 days. I'm not sure if it's wasp season in Corfu during September or not but the house appears to have a wasp infestation above the table area, there were more there than we saw around the rest of the island. We spent alot of time in the villa because of the current situation and because we just wanted to enjoy doing not much for 10 days, the villa is located within walking distance to the shops and harbour area, we used the car to travel to the larger supermarkets to stock up. The villa had everything we needed except a pair of scissors and a working tin opener. The air conditioning was brilliant, the beds were super comfy and the pool was clean and well looked after. The T.V. in the living room is large and has all of the british freeview channels as well as sports and movies which was un unexpected bonus! The internet was always good too. The villa comes with its only daily visitor, Tina the cat, she became our little side kick and was well looked after! Can't wait for the bookings to open for next year so we can pay another visit!

Villa Popi was the perfect place for our family of five. The decor is a really high standard, it’s well equipped and is spotlessly clean. Was great to meet George, who greeted us on our arrival. Showed us how the TV and heating/Air con worked and gave some recommendations for places to eat. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the beach and restaurants in Roda Will recommend this place to others and if we come back to Corfu, would love to stay here again

This Vila Popi I couldnt wait to personally write a review, which I never felt like doing before. From the moment I arrived and opened the front gate I knew I was in for a surprise..... the vila had 2 bedroom, bathroom,Jacuzzi bath and shower,washing machine ,lounge and dining room area and lets not forget the fantastic pool and splash pool. Villa Popi has everything you need for a couple weeks stay. We start exploring the town immediately and were quite impressed. See you next year Villa Popi and the town of Roda
