Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy a trip up The Wrekin for some wonderful views over the surrounding area. The Shropshire Hills area of outstanding natural beauty is home to the National Trust’s Carding Mill Valley and the Long Mynd.

Ludlow, as well as being renowned for foodies, has a castle and racecourse plus numerous festivals year round. The medieval town of Shrewsbury is looped by the River Severn where guests can enjoy a boat ride, and the theatre sits proudly on the banks.
